“This was our first time using Arden, and we could tell right away that she’s wonderful with dogs — especially with Rooney! We were well informed with updates and photos throughout the day, and it was clear Rooney was happy, safe, and well cared for. Arden took her on walks and let her relax on the gated back porch, which she loved. We’ll definitely book with Arden again!”

“Sloane is the BEST!! Her updates are detailed with lots of photos, and as an anxious dog mom, I really appreciate that! Cooper has such a great time with her and always comes home tired from all the fun. 10/10, cannot recommend more!”

“Archer had a fantastic day with Brittany! She kept me updated on how he was doing, took him to the dog park, sent pics, was very responsive. Would definitely use again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments for over 20 years. Friends, neighbors, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their dogs consistently and responsibly. I’m calm, attentive, and safety-focused, and I aim to give each dog a steady, stress-free walk tailored to their needs. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, and I keep a flexible schedule to accommodate regular walks, check-ins, and last-minute requests when possible. I prioritize punctuality, clear communication, and consistency so pets get reliable care and owners know what to expect. I’m careful and attentive when caring for pets in clients’ homes and during walks. I follow all instructions closely, keep dogs secure on leash, and pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. My focus is always on safety, calm handling, and respecting each pet’s routine.
About: I grew up with labs and retrievers but now live alone with my 2 cats (who are pretty much used to dogs, but still wary of them). I watch peoples dogs and foster with Saving Grace when I can so have experience with a wide range of dogs. I am an engineer but am taking time off from that job. One favorite thing to do with a dog I watch is taking them to my building’s fenced in private dog walk and playing fetch! I have a large dog crate if that is better for sitting/boarding but only if that is part of their normal routine. Pets are allowed on the furniture (also if normal) and since I have pets already, I have extra water around the apartment. Since I’m used to hosting dogs, I’m good at “cat proofing” the apartment and my unit has a good layout to separate the cats and the visiting pet if needed. I choose how to take out any dog based on their personality: dog walk at my apartment building, walks, local dog park, hikes, etc. I also have plenty of dog toys.
“Julie was so sweet and caring to not only Lily but me as well. She’s really great with communication, sending multiple updates throughout the day and answering very quickly. I know Lily was well taken care of. Thank you Julie :)”

“Karisa was responsive and eager to take our last minute booking. We were so appreciative and our puppy Gracie seemed to have enjoyed herself. Will definitely re-book soon!”

About: What sets me apart is the individualized care and attention I give to every dog. I work from home and intentionally care for only one dog at a time during boarding, allowing me to fully focus on your dog’s routines, comfort, and emotional needs. I’m attentive to behavior, energy levels, and stress signals, and I adjust care to help dogs feel safe and relaxed in a new environment. I’m experienced with dogs who have mild separation anxiety, picky eating habits, or need extra reassurance, and I’m happy to follow specific feeding, walking, and medication instructions. In addition to boarding, I also offer drop-in visits and dog walking for potty breaks, feeding, exercise, and companionship, always providing photo and video updates so you can feel confident and connected. My goal is to create a calm, home-like experience where your dog is genuinely cared for—not just watched. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and already structure my days around caring for my own dog. Walks, feeding, playtime, and rest breaks are part of my regular schedule, so adding another dog simply becomes part of a routine I’m very comfortable with. I’m attentive to balancing attention, supervising interactions, and adjusting the day based on each dog’s age, energy level, and needs—whether that’s a calm walk, extra playtime, or a slower pace. Because dogs are already central to my daily life, the dogs in my care receive consistent supervision, companionship, and a calm, home-like environment. I care for pets by following their established routines as closely as possible, whether they are staying in my home or I’m visiting them in theirs. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment with consistent feeding times, regular walks or potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of rest, while closely supervising interactions and monitoring behavior and comfort levels. For drop-in visits and dog walking at a client’s home, I focus on meeting immediate needs such as feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, exercise, and companionship, while respecting the home and following all instructions carefully. Across all services, I prioritize safety, clear communication, and personalized care, and I always provide photo or video updates so owners feel informed and reassured.
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and have been the neighborhood petsitter since I was a kid. I’ve had two rescue dogs of my own, as well as experience with birds and reptiles. I am lucky to work from home full time and have a lot of flexibility in my daily schedule for breaks, walks, and giving critters consistent attention. I have a shaded, fenced backyard where our friends can let out some zoomies, take quick potty breaks, or decompress by sniffing everything in sight. There is a large deck ideal for sunbathers and solar-powered pups. The neighborhood is all residential for safe, stimulating walks and my house is 1/4 mile from the Crabtree Creek Greenway.
About: As an emergency veterinary technician, I bring strong handling skills and confidence with senior, young, or medically needy pets. I’ve owned cats and dogs all my life, have been pet-sitting as long as I can remember, and have trained service dogs and raised puppies. I also attended an agricultural high school and completed many collegiate animal-behavior courses. I have worked with rescue dogs/cats and know to meet them where they're at. I prioritize enrichment, comfort, and setting every pet up for a safe, positive experience. I'm very active and love the outdoors in any weather so your pet will get their exercise in with me if that's what they need! I work 3 12hour shifts a week, so there are many weekends and weekdays in which I am around the entire day to provide pet care! I have a fenced in, large, shared yard area that is most often empty for your babies to play in. My home has one cat, no dogs.
“What a great experience with Martine and her husband. They obviously made Bryce feel welcomed in their home … as by the second day he went straight to her front door and didn’t look back while I was leaving. Also want to “shout out” her willingness to be a bit flexible with the schedule … (I was meeting a friend locally and wanted to be able to enjoy Raleigh for dinner (which was awesome at The Plate). This pet sitting experience enhanced my visit to Raleigh !!!”

“Doug and Sarah took wonderful care of Rooney! She came home happy and tired, which is always a great sign. They also have a lovely dog, Duke, who was a great companion for her. I’ll definitely be using their services again. Highly recommend!”

Your doggie will be in wonderful hands. It’s clear that Mara loves animals and it shows in how she’s taken care of our pup. Mara is communicative, punctual, thoughtful, and updates us with great photos/videos throughout the day. And for Winnie - she lives her best life with Mara! She always comes home tired after a big day of walks, play time, and parks. We are so lucky we found Mara.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Julie! Hugo LOVES her, she takes great care of him, follows all instructions, and obviously really enjoys helping care for animals. I will continue using Julie's services anytime I need help with Hugo. Highly recommend!
