About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments for over 20 years. About: I grew up with labs and retrievers but now live alone with my 2 cats (who are pretty much used to dogs, but still wary of them). I watch peoples dogs and foster with Saving Grace when I can so have experience with a wide range of dogs. I am an engineer but am taking time off from that job. One favorite thing to do with a dog I watch is taking them to my building’s fenced in private dog walk and playing fetch! I have a large dog crate if that is better for sitting/boarding but only if that is part of their normal routine. Pets are allowed on the furniture (also if normal) and since I have pets already, I have extra water around the apartment. Since I’m used to hosting dogs, I’m good at “cat proofing” the apartment and my unit has a good layout to separate the cats and the visiting pet if needed. I choose how to take out any dog based on their personality: dog walk at my apartment building, walks, local dog park, hikes, etc. I also have plenty of dog toys.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and have been the neighborhood petsitter since I was a kid. I’ve had two rescue dogs of my own, as well as experience with birds and reptiles. I am lucky to work from home full time and have a lot of flexibility in my daily schedule for breaks, walks, and giving critters consistent attention. I have a shaded, fenced backyard where our friends can let out some zoomies, take quick potty breaks, or decompress by sniffing everything in sight. There is a large deck ideal for sunbathers and solar-powered pups. The neighborhood is all residential for safe, stimulating walks and my house is 1/4 mile from the Crabtree Creek Greenway.

About: As an emergency veterinary technician, I bring strong handling skills and confidence with senior, young, or medically needy pets. I’ve owned cats and dogs all my life, have been pet-sitting as long as I can remember, and have trained service dogs and raised puppies. I also attended an agricultural high school and completed many collegiate animal-behavior courses. I have worked with rescue dogs/cats and know to meet them where they're at. I prioritize enrichment, comfort, and setting every pet up for a safe, positive experience. I'm very active and love the outdoors in any weather so your pet will get their exercise in with me if that's what they need! I work 3 12hour shifts a week, so there are many weekends and weekdays in which I am around the entire day to provide pet care! I have a fenced in, large, shared yard area that is most often empty for your babies to play in. My home has one cat, no dogs.
