Pet care experience

Lots of love and playmates!

I adopted my first dog Benson when he was 6 and cared for him through his senior years. I started fostering in 2020 to give him company. I've cared for litters of (too) young puppies through adults and seniors dealing with medical and behavioral issues, and from every breed and size. My two current dogs, Keeley & Brisket, are foster fails. I've always loved dogs and will love your dog as much as my own. Why I love dog sitting I've loved dogs my whole life. I got my first dog, a black lab, when I was 3. I sat for friends' dogs since college and volunteered with the Humane Society. I finally have my own dogs but still love meeting and caring for other dogs. Meet my pets Keeley is a 4 year old chow mix that loves herding people to the couch for snuggles. Brisket is a supermutt puppy still learning her manners but friendly with all dogs and people. My cat, Meowedith, is a ~16 year old rescue. She's very sweet but takes a little time to get comfortable with new people and dogs. She is fine with dogs if they give her her space when she wants it. About my yard I have a fenced in backyard. My experience administering medication I administer pills and injections through Freedom Ride Rescue.

Luna had a great time at Allie’s house. Allie kept us informed of how she was doing throughout the evening. We would definitely use her services again.

Allie was a great sitter for our 2-year-old golden retriever, Bailey! She sent us photos and provided updates during the stay. We could tell that she treated Bailey like one of her own. Definitely recommend Allie for dog boarding services.

Allie was so great with Boomer! We had some delays traveling, and she was very flexible and willing to help. We had a great experience.

Allie is awesome!! Allie sent me photos of Noodle, my pup, snuggling on the couch and photos of her in the dog park running and playing! Allie’s personal dog is so sweet and playful too! I had no doubt while my dog Noodles was with her that she was taken care of. Will definitely use Allie again!

Schedule

I work from home and will be available most of the day for meals, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. I live near downtown so if I go out on the evenings or weekends I am close to home to check in on the pups!

A typical day

For a quick bathroom break I have a fenced in yard. For a longer walk we'll explore the Greenway or the residential areas of downtown. On the weekends we'll head to the Oakwood dog park for some playtime (if your dog is ok with a dog park!) When the weather is nice we can also hike around one of the nearby lakes.

Brisket (puppy) has a lot of energy and likes to play so I would want to make sure your dog is ok with that. I would like to know what commands your dog knows (i.e. 'off' vs 'down'). Please make sure your dog is house trained (with the understanding that accidents may happen in a new environment) and provide enough waste bags.
