As a pet parent myself, I understand the nerves that come with leaving your baby with someone new. I’m happy to follow any instructions that make you feel most comfortable. Whether that’s extra precautions for door runners, keeping a super close eye on those who love to chew, or anything else specific to your pet’s needs. I have a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, as well as a 24x18 crate and a larger playpen available if you’d like your dog crated at certain times. I typically only take one client at a time, but may occasionally take a second if I already know one dog and their personality. As for my own dog, she gets along well with others, but is more of a “relax and hang out” type than a nonstop player. She enjoys some gentle play, but her favorite thing is simply sharing space peacefully. I always want her to feel comfortable in her own home, so the best fit are dogs who are respectful of others boundaries. That said, I completely understand it can be hard to predict exactly how your dog will act in a new environment or with a new friend. If any situation ever arises, I’m always prepared to make adjustments. Whether that’s taking your pup on solo adventures or creating a calm setup that works for everyone. Full disclosure: although she prefers peace day to day, my dog thinks every arrival deserves a grand announcement. You’ll probably hear her bark when you first walk in - the chihuahua in her just can’t help it! She takes her “tiny guard dog” duties very seriously. Don’t worry, it’s just all the excitement. She settles down fast once she gets it out of her system and realizes her new friends are here to hang out. While I am the primary caretaker, my husband may occasionally join us for a walk or some nighttime couch hangouts. I know some pups can be more nervous around men, therefore I like owners to know so they can make the best decision for their dog’s comfort. We’ve had a few dogs like this stay with us, and they’ve all warmed up to him in no time. With a few treats and some gentle pets, he's suddenly not all that scary! I’m more than happy to provide regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring hands.

I tailor each day to your dog’s individual needs! I’m happy to relax with the couch potato, or provide mental and physical exercise for the energetic pup. I have several puzzle games to keep curious minds engaged, and I can play ball in the yard or simply let your dog sniff and explore at their own pace. If your dog knows tricks or is currently learning, I’m can provide quick refreshers throughout the day to keep them sharp and happy.
