If it sheds, I love it.
I grew up caring for dogs (my mom raised Cocker Spaniels). I have had my own pets for more than 30 years and I have fostered dogs for adoption for more than 20 years. Every dog needs a chance, no matter how challenging their behavior. My most recent dog needed sub-cutaneous fluids to extend his comfort during his final months. I miss him so, but I am waiting for a bit to bring another dog into my life permanently.

As always, Gus loves going to Julie’s! He’s so comfortable there and whines with excitement when we pull in her driveway. We had a special circumstance today and Julie was kind and flexible with a fluctuating pickup time. We appreciate Julie and the care she gives Gus every time 💕

This is the second time my dog, Hugo, has stayed with Julie. On top of Hugo absolutely loving her, I love that I don't worry at all about him while I'm away because I know he's in great hands. Julie follows all instructions about Hugo's care perfectly, sends daily pictures and updates, and is speedy to reply to any questions. I am so glad to have found Julie!

Can’t say enough good things about Julie! She is kind, compassionate, professional, and clearly loves what she does. Got lots of pictures and updates, and so appreciated her flexibility when my flight was delayed getting home. Highly recommend, will book again!

Schedule
I currently work part-time from home, so I am around the house a great deal. Walking is a pleasure and playing is a joy, so it seems pup-sitting fits just great into my life.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced back yard and I live about a mile from a dog park. My neighborhood is very dog-friendly and is a safe place to walk dogs.
A typical day
I am an active person who enjoys walks and hikes. Fetch is a good game - I have played a lot of softball, so I have a pretty good arm. : ) But I can appreciate a quiet snuggle, too. I can adapt to the needs of your pet as you wish.
