About: We’re an active, dog-loving couple who miss having a furry friend around - so we put all that energy into the pups we host. We raised a golden retriever for over 12 years, through eight different homes, which taught us how to stay flexible and make any space feel like home for a dog. We’ve also cared for the fur-babies of our friends and family over the years, so medium and large breeds are totally our comfort zone. Carleigh works from home every day, and John is home four days a week, meaning your dog gets tons of attention, playtime, and company. We’re not ready for a new pup of our own yet, but we love having short-term four-legged guests to spoil. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because one of us is almost always home, so your dog will get tons of attention, supervision, and company throughout each day. We love taking breaks to go on walks, play outside, or just hang out with a furry friend while we work. Since we’re already active and outside often, adding a dog to our routine is fun and effortless. We treat every dog like a temporary member of the family. Our home is clean, calm, and set up to be dog-friendly, especially for medium and large breeds. We pay close attention to routines, instructions, and any quirks or preferences your dog has. We’re big on communication - you’ll get updates, photos, and messages so you always know how your pup is doing. Whether it’s play time, relaxing, or sticking to their normal schedule, we make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they arrive.

About: I am just your average mother to dogs, cats and little humans running around. I am also your local dog/cat groomer. I have 10 years of experience and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon! I am very confident on handling all sorts of pets, pets with special needs, senior pups, puppies, pregnant mommas, unfixed fur babies and of course pups who might need a little discipline. I am pretty observant on behavior and can tend to whatever needs. I am very active(having 2 boys will do that) but I can also lay back. This also isn’t my first rover account. I used to partner with rover a few years back but since having kids and life changes, had to recreate a new updated account. I’m currently a stay at home momma during the week and groom during the weekend. My hubby is home weekends so pets are never left unattended. I have a fenced yard and love to be outdoors if weather permits. I also won’t pass up a cuddle session if thats what decided for the day <3

About: Hey there! We are Jesse and Diana and we live in the heart of Cary with our teenage daughter, 9 year old black lab mix Delta, 5 year old whippet Skadi, and 4 year old chihuahua Pepita. We also have two cats, Steve and Max who are 12 and 8 and are great with all dogs. Sometimes I think Max is more of a dog than a cat! Our dogs are good girls (spayed) and absolutely love to play! We have about a half acre fenced back yard that they can run freely in to get out all their zoomies. Both of our dogs are fully vaccinated and on flea & tick medication. We have had dogs all our lives and they have always been an important part of our family. We have experience with training certified therapy dogs as well. Our golden retriever, Molly was actively involved in working with Alzheimer's and dementia patients as a certified therapy dog. She passed away last year at 14 years old. She was a good girl. We understand all dogs have different needs and we will be extremely accommodating. Additionally, we work from home so your dog would never have to be alone. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions! We work from home, which gives us the time to be here for your pup! We also try to be very flexible with pickup and dropoff times to make it as convenient as possible. We have a completely fenced backyard (approx. 1/2 acre), which gives the dogs the space to run, play, and to just burn energy in a safe environment! They are never alone and always supervised when playing in the backyard.

My pet sitting (and boarding) spots have gone quickly so far, so if my availability matches your needs, send me a message and we can set up an initial meeting so you and your loved ones can meet me and we can all make sure I’m the right fit. While caring for your pets in your home, I can also water your plants, bring any packages inside, put trash bins at the curb if it’s trash day, etc. Just let me know what you need and I’ll let you know if I can help with it. I apply the same level of care to boarding. My fees are a little lower since I don’t have to travel to your pet, but in my home, your pet’s still my #1 priority. I provide the same attention I’d give them in your home if not more, because I know my environment isn’t the one they’re used to. Whether your furry fam needs a fun walk, a cozy place to stay, or loving care while you're away, I'll treat them with the same patience, kindness, and attention I'd give my own. Regardless if your pup is energetic and playful, shy and cautious, or a senior who enjoys a slower pace, I'll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. At my house, I have a fenced in yard, pool, dog door I can open or close if your pet isn’t good with those, treats, toys, and comfy spots to rest. The dog I had for 15 years (who recently passed) would absolutely vouch for these little sunny spots that show up in different parts of my house across the day. Regardless of location, I will stick to your pet’s schedule and make sure their needs are met.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines as closely as possible to minimize stress, including feeding schedules, walks, medication, and preferred play or rest times. I treat each home with respect and provide regular updates, photos, and clear communication so pet parents have peace of mind. In both settings, pets are cared for with patience, affection, and individualized attention—never rushed and never treated like just another booking.
