“Lauren was absolutely amazing, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog. I booked her for a 30-minute walk every day around noon, and I told her I was very flexible with timing. She was always reliable and showed up when scheduled, but what really stood out to me was how much she genuinely cared about my puppy. Even though the walks were booked for 30 minutes, she constantly went above and beyond. Whether it was an extra minute, five minutes, or even ten, she never seemed rushed and truly spent quality time with my dog. After every walk, I didn’t just get one quick picture. I would get several adorable photos along with detailed updates about everything they did. She would let me know about their walk, any interactions they had, and even small thoughtful things like cleaning out his water bowl. You can tell Lauren is not just doing this as a job. She genuinely loves dogs and enjoys spending time with them. That kind of care, attention, and thoughtfulness is rare, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing my puppy was in such good hands. I’m so grateful for her and will absolutely book with her again!”

About: I’ve worked as a dog walker/sitter for the past three years. I’ve walked and cared for a wide variety of dogs with a range of needs and have always made sure to prioritize their happiness and health. I’ve had at least 2 dogs my entire life, so I understand their needs and how to read and respond to a dog’s behavior. I work remotely so it’s really easy for me to incorporate walks and boardings into my daily schedule. My schedule is flexible so I will always be able to prioritize your pet’s needs! I live in a 2 bedroom, pet friendly apartment. Pets are welcome on any piece of furniture that looks comfortable to them. There is also a park near by that is great for walks and bathroom breaks!

About: I worked at a vet hospital and had the opportunity to be around, care for, and play with lots of different dogs and cats. I would administer medicine, clean areas for animals so they are safe, make them the most comfy, walk the dogs, clean litter boxes, even throw in a few treats when possible. I am currently a full time college student. I’m working on my bachelors in animal science. I’m able to have a wide variety of availability. I will make sure bowls are clean, food properly measured or full, water refreshed with every visit, tummies are full, and hearts are the happiest they can be. Every animal is always treated as if it were my own. Each animal deserves only the best of care.

About: I have been around dogs since childhood and know how to treat them with respect. I love animals and will treat your beloved pet as if they were my own! I recently quit my job and am available most days for overnight sitting or walks! I keep my calendar up to date, but I am also flexible, so feel free to reach out with any scheduling concerns. I live in an apartment so unfortunately I can not offer boarding in my home. However, I am experienced in overnight pet sitting and have been a regular dog walker in college.

About: I have been petsitting and dog walking my neighborhood pets for several years and had the privilege to work as a research technician who helped in husbandry at UNC Chapel Hills Division of Comparative Medicine canine unit. I love making new furry friends and gaining experience to help my pre-veterinary journey as a college student! I am a college student who has classes int the morning and afternoon and ask for your patience to fit the service around my class schedule! I am a flexible person none the less:) I have a fenced yard for my dog to keep them from getting out and my cat is an inside cat who stay in the upstairs bedrooms

About: Hi, I'm Chantel. An animal lover with a passion for dogs and cats. Having grown up surrounded by animals, I recently relocated from Buffalo, NY to North Carolina and have found the people and weather here to be exceptional. In addition to my role as a Speech Pathologist Assistant, I work as an ESL Teacher and offer dog sitting services through Rover. Meaning I’m always available during school vacations. I find joy in spending time with my pets, exploring the outdoors, and staying active through jogging and hiking. The recent loss of my beloved cat, who lived to the age of 24, inspired me to explore and appreciate different species of animals. In 2018, I successfully assisted in the recovery of a stolen dog, Storm, by proactively creating flyers, conducting investigations, and leveraging social media to spread the word. The heartwarming outcome of this experience reinforces my commitment to helping and caring for animals. I would be honored to meet and care for your pet. Looking forward to connecting soon, Chantel Starting July 1- July 31st I’ll be on my school break as a speech Teacher in schools. At this time I’ll be home most of the time. My clients are placed on a schedule. We wake up before 9:00am, we go out, we eat breakfast, take up to 30 min walks if able. We come back home, relax and play, go outside, eat dinner, go out a third time and time for bed. If the client is new, I try my best to keep them calm by playing with them and a lot of petting.
