About: My greatest loves in this world are animals and nature. I enjoy pets of all sizes, I’ve taken care of all kinds of breeds from Rottweilers to Jack Russell Terriers. I’m experienced with all stages of life, I recently lost my amazing 13yo lab/Irish wolfhound mix after raising him from a puppy. I’m comfortable giving medication and light grooming/brushing, but my favorite is getting them outside for some fresh air and exercise. I love caring for cats and plant-babies too! I’m a freelancer and enjoy taking breaks throughout the day to step away from my computer and get my blood pumping. Making my own schedule means I can be flexible to accommodate your needs. I’m a gentle but firm soul and find a way to connect with a wide variety of temperaments. I’m happy to go slow and meet animals where they are since I know proper care and attention is not one size fits all.

She was always reliable and showed up when scheduled, but what really stood out to me was how much she genuinely cared about my puppy. Even though the walks were booked for 30 minutes, she constantly went above and beyond. Whether it was an extra minute, five minutes, or even ten, she never seemed rushed and truly spent quality time with my dog. After every walk, I didn’t just get one quick picture. I would get several adorable photos along with detailed updates about everything they did. She would let me know about their walk, any interactions they had, and even small thoughtful things like cleaning out his water bowl. You can tell Lauren is not just doing this as a job. She genuinely loves dogs and enjoys spending time with them. That kind of care, attention, and thoughtfulness is rare, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing my puppy was in such good hands. About: Hi, I'm Chantel. An animal lover with a passion for dogs and cats. Having grown up surrounded by animals, I recently relocated from Buffalo, NY to North Carolina and have found the people and weather here to be exceptional. In addition to my role as a Speech Pathologist Assistant, I work as an ESL Teacher and offer dog sitting services through Rover. Meaning I’m always available during school vacations. I find joy in spending time with my pets, exploring the outdoors, and staying active through jogging and hiking. The recent loss of my beloved cat, who lived to the age of 24, inspired me to explore and appreciate different species of animals. In 2018, I successfully assisted in the recovery of a stolen dog, Storm, by proactively creating flyers, conducting investigations, and leveraging social media to spread the word. The heartwarming outcome of this experience reinforces my commitment to helping and caring for animals. I would be honored to meet and care for your pet. Looking forward to connecting soon, Chantel Starting July 1- July 31st I’ll be on my school break as a speech Teacher in schools. At this time I’ll be home most of the time. My clients are placed on a schedule. We wake up before 9:00am, we go out, we eat breakfast, take up to 30 min walks if able. We come back home, relax and play, go outside, eat dinner, go out a third time and time for bed. If the client is new, I try my best to keep them calm by playing with them and a lot of petting.

About: I have been a pet sitter on Wag for over a year now and I absolutely love it. I have pet sat for over 35 clients including walks and at home sits. I have several years of experience pet sitting for friends and family and am a current pet owner myself. I own two dogs, one of which is a puppy. I have experience caring for puppies and elderly dogs in my own home and pet sitting. I also have experience working with cats and have previously owned a kitty myself. I am a college student just looking to work with my favorite animals! I absolutely adore dogs and cats and want to spend every free minute I have with them. I usually do most of my sitting on the weekends and afternoons/evenings, basically anytime I’m not in class. I have a very high energy puppy so I have lots of experience with play time and getting wiggles out. I love to stay active and always enjoy a good walk as well. I am comfortable feeding, giving medicine, crating, and cuddling with of course. I also have worked with very timid dogs and understand the importance of slow introductions and treats to help dogs feel more comfortable.
