“Sarah took great care of our boy Phil and gave him his meds! She took great photos and even included our cat post in the living even though he wasn’t on the booking. 10/10 will book again”

“Taylor was very kind and made sure all of our cats were well taken care of. We appreciate her promptness and coming to our house before booking for a meet greet.”
“Nicole is great with my cats! Very responsive, take care of my babies with much love and do above and beyond. After a week out, does not even look like they were alone for several days. It is my 3rd or 4th time booking with her and for sure will be many more. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve had pet cats my entire life, and I consider myself a cat whisperer at heart. Over the past 8 years, I’ve had the opportunity to care for many pups as well and have learned a lot about canine care. No matter the animal, I promise to treat your furry friend like my own! Your pet’s safety and trust is my utmost concern. For their comfort, I offer in-home care, so they can relax in a comfortable environment while I drop in for treats and cuddles. For safety reasons, I only offer leashed dog walks (no dog park visits). Currently I work 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday in the North Hills area, so my schedule is best suited for dogs who can go 8+ hours without a potty break (although I do have a lunch hour and would be able pop in during that time if you are located within 20 minutes of my office location!). “Trevor was great! Very communicative and sent me pictures every day! He even brought in my packages off the porch. Definitely will have him back in the future! 😊”

“Kim is always so good with my cats! She treats them well and also does a great job keeping me updated and making sure they are safe! I have always booked with her and always will!!”

“Lacey is, in short, one word: AMAZING! She's super kind and understanding. She pays attention to yours and your furbaby's anxieties and does what she can to alleviate them. She has a similar philosophy when it comes to training and had no issues with us asking her to continue our training with our puppy (much appreciated as our girl is STRONG!). We felt completely at ease having our pup in her care, would HIGHLY recommend Lacey to anyone looking for care for their furry loved ones.”

“Sloane provides fantastic updates and is really perceptive about dogs. She quickly sensed Dora’s needs and personality and they fell into a nice rhythm quickly! I’ve already booked her again!”

“Cannan was amazing, we had a literally last minute cancellation for an entire week of cat sitting over the holidays. She was super quick to respond to our booking request and hopped on a phone call since we were already out of state and couldn’t do a walk through. Our kitties warmed up to her and we are so happy she was able to take care of them. Would definitely book again!!”

“She was so wonderful with my large dog! My Rogue is a 70 lb pitbull that is extra energetic and spastic when we're out of town. She even checked on him an extra time when he was acting out of character on the first day we were away. She was very communicative and I loved the pictures!”

“Xeque is the best!! She was so quick to respond and took such good care of our boys. We appreciated the pics and updates and the time she took to show them some extra love while we were away.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and have been the neighborhood petsitter since I was a kid. I’ve had two rescue dogs of my own, as well as experience with birds and reptiles. I am lucky to work from home full time and have a lot of flexibility in my daily schedule for breaks, walks, and giving critters consistent attention. I have a shaded, fenced backyard where our friends can let out some zoomies, take quick potty breaks, or decompress by sniffing everything in sight. There is a large deck ideal for sunbathers and solar-powered pups. The neighborhood is all residential for safe, stimulating walks and my house is 1/4 mile from the Crabtree Creek Greenway.
“Heidi took amazing care of our English bulldog. She was timely in her walks & an excellent communicator. We came home to a happy dog. Will rebook Heidi with zero hesitation.”

“Rodrigo was available on short notice to provide drop in visits for my dog Seamus. He provided updates and was very professional and plan on using his services in the future”

“Erica was great with our senior pup. She came over to do a meet and greet and Ginger loved her right away. She took great care with her & our home and followed all of our detailed instructions. We’re grateful to have found her and will definitely work with her again.”

“Rebekah is such a sweetheart! She fit us in last minute when we were in a pinch, and our dog loved her. We felt our pets were well taken of. We will definitely book with her again.”

About: Generally, I’m a dog lover. I have a reactive dog who has taught me a lot of patience that I intend to extend if needed. Pet care IS my routine. I work an inconsistent schedule and outside of those work hours, my girl is walked, fed and loves to play frisbee any second she can. For your pet, I’m looking to fit in some part time care. My schedule is flexible with enough notice as well. In a client’s home, I follow the dog’s lead. I the dog needs space, I can give it. If they need to play, I am happy to play. Whatever their schedule, that is my new schedule. I am punctual and thorough.
East Raleigh pet parents share their Rover experiences
Heather was absolutely amazing. She did drop in visits while I was away for a week with my cat. She made sure he was well taken care of, always had clean water and a clean letter box. She played with his and always left cat tv on before she left! I will definitely be booking with Heather again!!

Cannan was amazing, we had a literally last minute cancellation for an entire week of cat sitting over the holidays. She was super quick to respond to our booking request and hopped on a phone call since we were already out of state and couldn’t do a walk through. Our kitties warmed up to her and we are so happy she was able to take care of them. Would definitely book again!!

This was my first time using Rover and Sydney made it so easy to know Sage was in good hands. She came and met her before we left and made sure she knew all of her favorite toys and all care instructions. I got updates with pictures on each visit and she went above and beyond to make sure my energetic kitty got lots of play time and pets while I was away. I would leave my fur baby in her care any day. She even checked the mail and made sure no packages were left on the porch. Sydney is the best!!

HIGHLY recommend Jordan and Hollyanne to watch your pets. My husband and I have a small zoo (8 animals in total) and whether we’re doing home stay or drop in visits we always know everyone is going to be well cared for and happy when we get home. Very responsive and knowledgeable also, so I’m never concerned about being away.

Laurie did a great job keeping my cat entertained while I was away! She sent so many funny photos throughout the duration of her visits and came up with very creative ways to keep my cat stimulated. I felt more than comfortable with her visiting and felt like she exceeded the expectations! I can tell that she genuinely loves cats and would absolutely recommend her to anyone that needs care for their cats while away.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience! I was very nervous to leave your pup with a Rover for the first time but after the first visit, all of my worries were at ease. We came home to a very well taken care of and happy boy! 1000/10 would recommend!
