About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with pets and started dog and cat sitting for friends and family when I was around 13. I also previously worked at a horse barn, so I’m comfortable caring for animals of all sizes and personalities! I now have a five-year-old Border Collie, Hazel, who keeps me very active. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal and making sure they feel comfortable with me. I’m active and love being outside, so I’m always happy to go on a longer walk or spend extra time playing. I also know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I’ll follow their normal routine, pay close attention to your instructions, and send plenty of updates and pictures. I’m especially available for dog walking and drop-in visits, whether your dog needs a quick potty break, a longer walk, playtime, feeding, or simply some company while you’re away. I currently work full-time from home and have plenty of flexibility throughout my day, which makes it easy for me to fit in walks and drop-in visits. I’m also fully available in the evenings and on weekends, so I can work around your pet’s normal routine and schedule. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, respect your home, and keep your pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible. I’ll make sure doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses are secure and stay aware of our surroundings during walks. I also understand that trust takes time, especially with shy or anxious pets, so I’ll be patient and let them warm up to me at their own pace. You’ll receive regular updates and pictures, so you can feel confident that your pet and home are being well cared for.

About: My greatest loves in this world are animals and nature. I enjoy pets of all sizes, I’ve taken care of all kinds of breeds from Rottweilers to Jack Russell Terriers. I’m experienced with all stages of life, I recently lost my amazing 13yo lab/Irish wolfhound mix after raising him from a puppy. I’m comfortable giving medication and light grooming/brushing, but my favorite is getting them outside for some fresh air and exercise. I love caring for cats and plant-babies too! I’m a freelancer and enjoy taking breaks throughout the day to step away from my computer and get my blood pumping. Making my own schedule means I can be flexible to accommodate your needs. I’m a gentle but firm soul and find a way to connect with a wide variety of temperaments. I’m happy to go slow and meet animals where they are since I know proper care and attention is not one size fits all.

About: As full-time work from home employees, we can provide you with the peace of mind that your furry best friend will be constantly supervised during the workday. Having both been pet sitters for many friends and family members, we wanted to take our skills to Rover. We adopted our dog, Alex, when he was six weeks old and trained him ourselves. We have experience with dogs from puppies to seniors and love them all! We can provide care for dogs of any energy level, we love going on runs and hikes just as much as a chill evening at home. Our dog is very friendly with others of all sizes, and especially small dogs as he grew up with a mini dachshund. We would be happy to set up a meet and greet if preferred. Just let us know your dog’s typical schedule and any special needs or quirks, and we’re happy to work with you! We are available for boarding or drop-ins any day our calendar is open! No restrictions for weekday vs. weekend. As mentioned, we work from home so your pet will be supervised during the workday. We typically do activities outside the house a few nights per week, so just let us know how you prefer your dog to be left alone (crated, free-roaming, limited to 1hr etc). We can provide daily walks, as our dog gets at least two 20+ minute walks per day and at least two more separate potty breaks. If your dog has a higher energy level, just let us know and we can accommodate with a run or a dog park visit! We live in a townhome in the five points area of Raleigh. We have a small yard but our dog gets most of his exercise on walks/runs or at a park! As dog parents ourselves, we know how hard it is to leave our little best friend with a sitter. Having this empathy and experience motivates us to provide the best care for your dog, including updates, photos, exercise, quality time, and an accommodating safe space. You can count on us to have watchful eyes so you return from your trip to a safe, tired, happy pup.

About: I have been taking care of friends’ and family members’ pets since I was 10. My family has three dogs of all different sizes, and we love them all dearly! I have experience with all types of pet care, from sitting and walking to stopping in to feed and check on pets. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with a dog park area, making it easy to provide plenty of outdoor time, walks, and playtime. I am also completely comfortable caring for pets in their own home and understand that many pets are happiest sticking to their usual routine. I am happy to follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, or any other specific needs your pet may have. My main goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care!

About: Generally, I’m a dog lover. I have a reactive dog who has taught me a lot of patience that I intend to extend if needed. Pet care IS my routine. I work an inconsistent schedule and outside of those work hours, my girl is walked, fed and loves to play frisbee any second she can. For your pet, I’m looking to fit in some part time care. My schedule is flexible with enough notice as well. In a client’s home, I follow the dog’s lead. I the dog needs space, I can give it. If they need to play, I am happy to play. Whatever their schedule, that is my new schedule. I am punctual and thorough.
