About: I am a veterinary student who has dedicated my life to caring for and protecting animals. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your animals in the care of another person. I’m very patient and trustworthy when it comes to your pets safety and happiness. I have two cats of my own who are my everything!! I will be sure to extend my love to your pets as well. I’m currently a full-time student. During the week, I’m available in the mornings and evenings. I am free most weekends to care for your pets! I follow the animal’s routine as best as I can. Every dog/cat is unique in how they’re cared for and deserve safety, trust and patience. At this time, I do not care for other animals inside my home as I have two cats. That is their safe space and I respect their boundaries :)

About: I’m a fully remote Triangle native whose first love (after writing, that is ✍🏽) was for animals. I don’t just look after them—I truly care for them like a family member. Being highly empathetic, I provide both safety and comfort as a bare minimum. As such, I can usually tell (and adapt accordingly) when a furry friend needs more space and gentleness to feel more comfortable versus when they’d benefit from more a more assertive approach. Regardless, everything is done with compassion and consideration to ensure both you and your pet(s) feel safe and at ease! I work fully remote, so I am able to be with your pet throughout the day if needed whether that be for potty breaks, walks, playtime, or anything in between! I mirror your pet’s comfort level. If they are very sociable, then I am just as extroverted. On the flip side, if they are a little wary, I do what I can to make them feel at ease and let them know I’m a friend. I will never force your pet to interact with me just to appease my own ego; their comfort and your comfort are my priority. Trusting someone to care for your pet(s) is a big ask and not something I take lightly. I also understand that it won’t always be a good fit, so my only request is that you are transparent about questions/concerns and I will do the same to make sure everyone is comfy and at ease!

“Lauren was absolutely amazing, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog. I booked her for a 30-minute walk every day around noon, and I told her I was very flexible with timing. She was always reliable and showed up when scheduled, but what really stood out to me was how much she genuinely cared about my puppy. Even though the walks were booked for 30 minutes, she constantly went above and beyond. Whether it was an extra minute, five minutes, or even ten, she never seemed rushed and truly spent quality time with my dog. After every walk, I didn’t just get one quick picture. I would get several adorable photos along with detailed updates about everything they did. She would let me know about their walk, any interactions they had, and even small thoughtful things like cleaning out his water bowl. You can tell Lauren is not just doing this as a job. She genuinely loves dogs and enjoys spending time with them. That kind of care, attention, and thoughtfulness is rare, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing my puppy was in such good hands. I’m so grateful for her and will absolutely book with her again!”

About: I recently graduated from NC State University with a degree in design and a minor in zoology! Now that I’m in post-grad life, I’m working remotely and looking to spend time doing what I love most: hanging out with animals. While I’ve shared most of my life living with cats but dog sitting has actually been my main thing! Long before downloading the Rover app, I was primarily dog sitting for people in person—starting back in 2020 when I pulled double duty babysitting both toddlers and their fur babies. Needless to say, dogs know I'm a trusted friend! From energetic medium and large breeds to the sweetest small pups, I love them all—that absolutely includes our precious senior dogs! I have a huge heart for older pups who just want company to hang out with. Because of my background with cats, I am an absolute pro at routine. I run a tight, loving schedule—timely meals, plenty of playtime and walks, and endless cuddles tailored to exactly what your dog likes. Your pup will be in the safest, most attentive hands. I’ll keep you completely in the loop with consistent updates. Plus, as a design grad, don't be surprised if a a simple portrait of your pet lands in your inbox as a bonus :) Since I work remotely from my laptop, my schedule is flexible, allowing me to easily prioritize your babies whenever they need attention. I will be at your home for the majority of the time, only popping out occasionally to grab food or run quick errands. I absolutely adore my own cats and treat them like royalty, so you can rest assured your fur babies will receive that exact same level of love and quality care! To ensure they have the best experience possible! I always make it a point to learn about their specific routines, favorite toys, safe zones, and any necessary medications ahead of time :)

About: I have been around dogs since childhood and know how to treat them with respect. I love animals and will treat your beloved pet as if they were my own! I recently quit my job and am available most days for overnight sitting or walks! I keep my calendar up to date, but I am also flexible, so feel free to reach out with any scheduling concerns. I live in an apartment so unfortunately I can not offer boarding in my home. However, I am experienced in overnight pet sitting and have been a regular dog walker in college.

About: I have experience with both dogs and cats! I am super flexible this summer! I am looking forward to meeting some new fur-friends! Please book me at least 2 days in advance! I am very flexible this summer besides a two week trip at the beginning of July! I am not working since I’m attending graduate school in the fall so I’ll be super available to hang out with your fur babies! I don’t offer house sitting at my house but I can stay over at yours! I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions you have left to ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of your space!
