About: My greatest loves in this world are animals and nature. I enjoy pets of all sizes, I’ve taken care of all kinds of breeds from Rottweilers to Jack Russell Terriers. I’m experienced with all stages of life, I recently lost my amazing 13yo lab/Irish wolfhound mix after raising him from a puppy. I’m comfortable giving medication and light grooming/brushing, but my favorite is getting them outside for some fresh air and exercise. I love caring for cats and plant-babies too! I’m a freelancer and enjoy taking breaks throughout the day to step away from my computer and get my blood pumping. Making my own schedule means I can be flexible to accommodate your needs. I’m a gentle but firm soul and find a way to connect with a wide variety of temperaments. I’m happy to go slow and meet animals where they are since I know proper care and attention is not one size fits all.

I booked her for a 30-minute walk every day around noon, and I told her I was very flexible with timing. She was always reliable and showed up when scheduled, but what really stood out to me was how much she genuinely cared about my puppy. Even though the walks were booked for 30 minutes, she constantly went above and beyond. Whether it was an extra minute, five minutes, or even ten, she never seemed rushed and truly spent quality time with my dog. After every walk, I didn’t just get one quick picture. I would get several adorable photos along with detailed updates about everything they did. She would let me know about their walk, any interactions they had, and even small thoughtful things like cleaning out his water bowl. You can tell Lauren is not just doing this as a job. She genuinely loves dogs and enjoys spending time with them. That kind of care, attention, and thoughtfulness is rare, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing my puppy was in such good hands. I’m very patient and trustworthy when it comes to your pets safety and happiness. I have two cats of my own who are my everything!! I will be sure to extend my love to your pets as well. I’m currently a full-time student. During the week, I’m available in the mornings and evenings. I am free most weekends to care for your pets! I follow the animal’s routine as best as I can. Every dog/cat is unique in how they’re cared for and deserve safety, trust and patience. At this time, I do not care for other animals inside my home as I have two cats. Ashley walked out two big chocolate labs. She was great! She took them for a good walk so they got some solid exercise and time outside. Communication was excellent, very kind and caring. She was very professional and I never doubted she would show up and take care of my girls with great care.
This was my first time using Makayla, and Rover, and I was not disappointed. My dog George can be a special case and sometimes takes time to warm up to certain people but he loved Makayla at first sight! She was very detailed, thorough, listened and followed my notes regarding George’s care and had great communication and sent plenty of photos and details about his day. After a day my anxiety of leaving him with a stranger was eased and I was able to enjoy my vacation because I knew I left him In great hands. I will definitely be using her next time and am so grateful we found someone we could trust to love on my baby as we would have.

My dogs adore Chase! Somehow, they always know when he's coming and they wait at the door for him, then push me out of the way to greet him when he arrives. He always shows up on time, lets me know when he is on his way, and is extremely personable and kind to talk to. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a dog walker!
