You will receive regular updates and photos (usually at least once per day, or fewer if you prefer a text-free trip), and your animals can expect as much (or as little) playtime and interaction as desired. I’m always happy to talk through details, and sharing as much as possible upfront helps ensure we’re a great fit and are aligned on care expectations.

My goal is to make your pet’s day feel as normal and comfortable as possible while you’re gone. I try to stick to your pet’s typical routine as much as possible to keep them happy and at ease. Routine is especially important while pet parents are away. Depending on your pet’s personality and needs, this may include walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship.

I specialize in in-home care that keeps things calm, consistent, and familiar for your pets while you’re away. Whether it’s a high energy walk or a cozy overnight stay, my goal is to ensure your pet’s "normal" stays normal. I also offer recurring weekday walks and drop-ins to help pets maintain a steady routine. I stick closely to your pet’s routine, provide regular updates, and take care of your home with the same level of attention by bringing in mail and trash, handling packages, and keeping things secure so you can come back to everything just as you left it. From working with dogs, cats, and other animals of all sizes and personalities over the years, I've become no stranger to administering medications and basic grooming. Every pet is different, so I adjust my approach based on their preferences and needs to help them feel comfortable and at ease. I take a lot of pride in being someone clients can trust. I’m proactive and detail oriented, meaning I catch the small things before they become "dog ate the remote" sized problems. A note on booking: Most of my schedule stays busy with repeat clients and referrals, often booking 1–3 months out. If you’re planning ahead, please reach out! I’m happy to pencil in your dates and confirm as we get closer. A couple quick notes: - For daysits (longer daytime care exceeding a dropin), I use my standard overnight rate. - For pups outside my immediate neighborhood, a small travel fee may apply (which I’ll always chat with you about upfront)

In the last 8 years I have had Rex only 2 people that where non family members have watched him. Amber was the first I ever entrusted with Key to my home and Alarm code beyond caring for Rex she kept an Eye on my home and alerted me to what I thought was simple AC drain but ended up being a hot water heater replacement not her Job to let me know but she did on one of her 2 extra unscheduled visits. She sent pictures loads of them kept me informed and far exceeded my expectations and I know I am as peculiar as they come. Amber did a phenomenal job watching our dog in our home. She sent regular updates and photos. We knew our fur baby was in great hands which allowed up to have fun away without any worries! Will absolutely be booking her again!
Amber is a dream!! She was so communicative when sitting for our dog, Bonnie, and sent multiple photos each day. She also kept a great eye on our house, brought in packages and I felt so glad she was there holding down the fort. If you need a wonderful, communicative person sitter, don’t hesitate to book her asap!!
Amber did a fantastic job taking care of my cat, Stella. She sent over lots of pictures and gave me reassurance that she was being taking care of. I definitely would recommend her as a pet sitter.
