I work a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to plan my day around pet care. My standard housesitting service includes overnight care and maintaining your pet's routine, while still allowing me to leave for personal obligations, errands, and other scheduled pet visits.

Helpful details may include: • difficulty being left alone for extended periods of time (e.g., 1-3 hours or less) • requiring companionship for 16+ hours/day, or limits on caregiver time away (e.g., no more than 5 hours of total alone time or only 2 departures per day) • strict schedules or involved medication regimens • anxiety, reactivity, or behavior around people/other animals • house training issues or incontinence Depending on your pet’s care needs, an additional surcharge or my Constant Care rate may apply. I’m always happy to talk through details. Sharing as much as possible upfront helps ensure we’re a great fit and aligned on expectations.

My goal is to make your pet’s day feel as normal and comfortable as possible while you’re gone. I try to stick to your pet’s typical routine as much as possible to keep them happy and at ease. Routine is especially important while pet parents are away. Depending on your pet’s personality and needs, this may include walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship.

I specialize in in-home care that keeps things calm, consistent, and familiar while you're away. Whether it's a walk, dropin, or overnight stay, my goal is to keep your pet's routine as close to normal as possible. I follow your care instructions closely, provide regular photo updates, and treat your home with the same respect I treat your pets. I'll bring in mail and packages, take care of trash day, water plants if needed, and keep everything secure so you can return home to everything just as you left it. I've cared for dogs, cats, and other animals with a wide range of personalities and needs, including administering medications and basic grooming. Every pet is different, and I tailor my care to help them feel safe and comfortable. I'm proactive and detail-oriented, and I take pride in catching the little things before they become bigger problems. **Before booking:** Please let me know if your pet has any special care needs, including separation anxiety, complex medication schedules, reactivity, incontinence, or other behavioral concerns. If your pet has unique care requirements, sharing them up front helps me determine whether we're a great fit and quote the appropriate rate. **Housesitting expectations**: My standard housesitting rate assumes I can leave for normal work, errands, and personal obligations. If your pet has strict limits on how long they can be left alone, restrictions on caregiver departures, or requires someone home for most of the day, please let me know before booking. These requests may require my Constant Care rate ($165–250/night). Most of my schedule fills with repeat clients and referrals 1–3 months in advance, so feel free to reach out early if you have upcoming travel plans. I'm happy to reserve tentative dates. **A few quick notes**: • Day sits longer than a standard dropin are billed at my housesitting rate. • A small travel fee may apply for clients outside my immediate area (always discussed in advance).

In the last 8 years I have had Rex only 2 people that where non family members have watched him. Amber was the first I ever entrusted with Key to my home and Alarm code beyond caring for Rex she kept an Eye on my home and alerted me to what I thought was simple AC drain but ended up being a hot water heater replacement not her Job to let me know but she did on one of her 2 extra unscheduled visits. She sent pictures loads of them kept me informed and far exceeded my expectations and I know I am as peculiar as they come.
