About: Generally, I’m a dog lover. I have a reactive dog who has taught me a lot of patience that I intend to extend if needed. Pet care IS my routine. I work an inconsistent schedule and outside of those work hours, my girl is walked, fed and loves to play frisbee any second she can. For your pet, I’m looking to fit in some part time care. My schedule is flexible with enough notice as well. In a client’s home, I follow the dog’s lead. I the dog needs space, I can give it. If they need to play, I am happy to play. Whatever their schedule, that is my new schedule. I am punctual and thorough.

I booked her for a 30-minute walk every day around noon, and I told her I was very flexible with timing. Whether it was an extra minute, five minutes, or even ten, she never seemed rushed and truly spent quality time with my dog. After every walk, I didn’t just get one quick picture. I would get several adorable photos along with detailed updates about everything they did. She would let me know about their walk, any interactions they had, and even small thoughtful things like cleaning out his water bowl. You can tell Lauren is not just doing this as a job. She genuinely loves dogs and enjoys spending time with them. That kind of care, attention, and thoughtfulness is rare, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing my puppy was in such good hands. About: I’m a fully remote Triangle native whose first love (after writing, that is ✍🏽) was for animals. I don’t just look after them—I truly care for them like a family member. Being highly empathetic, I provide both safety and comfort as a bare minimum. As such, I can usually tell (and adapt accordingly) when a furry friend needs more space and gentleness to feel more comfortable versus when they’d benefit from more a more assertive approach. Regardless, everything is done with compassion and consideration to ensure both you and your pet(s) feel safe and at ease! I work fully remote, so I am able to be with your pet throughout the day if needed whether that be for potty breaks, walks, playtime, or anything in between! I mirror your pet’s comfort level. If they are very sociable, then I am just as extroverted. On the flip side, if they are a little wary, I do what I can to make them feel at ease and let them know I’m a friend. I will never force your pet to interact with me just to appease my own ego; their comfort and your comfort are my priority. Trusting someone to care for your pet(s) is a big ask and not something I take lightly. I also understand that it won’t always be a good fit, so my only request is that you are transparent about questions/concerns and I will do the same to make sure everyone is comfy and at ease!

About: I have been a pet sitter on Wag for over a year now and I absolutely love it. I have pet sat for over 35 clients including walks and at home sits. I have several years of experience pet sitting for friends and family and am a current pet owner myself. I own two dogs, one of which is a puppy. I have experience caring for puppies and elderly dogs in my own home and pet sitting. I also have experience working with cats and have previously owned a kitty myself. I am a college student just looking to work with my favorite animals! I absolutely adore dogs and cats and want to spend every free minute I have with them. About: I have been around dogs since childhood and know how to treat them with respect. I love animals and will treat your beloved pet as if they were my own! I recently quit my job and am available most days for overnight sitting or walks! I keep my calendar up to date, but I am also flexible, so feel free to reach out with any scheduling concerns. I live in an apartment so unfortunately I can not offer boarding in my home. However, I am experienced in overnight pet sitting and have been a regular dog walker in college.

About: I have experience with cats and dogs of every personality, size, and age. I have been a Rover sitter for over three years now, booking services in Houston, Dallas, and Raleigh. I currently have two cats of my own, so I know how important it is to have a pet sitter that you can trust! I’ve grown up with animals and my first job was at an animal daycare / boarding facility, where I played with, bathed, and walked animals. My family always has Golden Retrievers or Newfoundlands, so I have no problem with big dogs! We also always have at least one cat in the house. I would be happy to care for your cats or dogs! I work remotely so I have plenty of time during the day and early afternoon for drop-ins. I have no problem with early/late visits, either —I’m here to work around your pet’s schedule! I am in a very central location to most parts of Raleigh. I always like to have a meet and greet before the booking to meet your pets and introduce myself. I have a lot of experience with various types of cat and dog personalities and am comfortable in all scenarios of pet care.

About: I grew up with dogs and have helped my family dog-sit on occasion. More recently, I helped walk and take care of a friend's dog while their family was abroad for two months. Regarding care, one of my dogs suffers occasional seizures, so I am well versed in how to act during and after the episode. I am currently working a seasonal, part-time job for summer break. I have no set schedule yet, so my hours and days are not defined. However, over the next couple of weeks I hope to set a general schedule with the same days off each week. Either way, I have enough time on days off and after shifts to provide pet care. I care for pets, particularly dogs, by providing walks to get their energy out and keep them healthy. I like to find small hiking trails and walk those (if there are any around), or simply walk around the neighborhood.

About: I’ve been a sitter for family/friends/neighbors countless times 🐾 I’m on summer from medical school and looking to get outside and care for your fur babies. ***Please note: I cannot accept bookings for medium-large dogs who are not trained to not jump or won’t listen to commands to not jump*** I’m accustomed to basic training and would be happy to use the owner’s specific corrections/reinforcements they use. I do my best to keep my schedule here synched with my school and personal schedule. Message me a request first as the app doesn’t have the most user friendly calendar. I am happy to spend the time with your pet however they would like to. My dog is nervous, so I have expertise is working around that and being patient with nervous pets. I also love getting to play, train, and walk dogs!
