About: Hey there! We are Jesse and Diana and we live in the heart of Cary with our teenage daughter, 9 year old black lab mix Delta, 5 year old whippet Skadi, and 4 year old chihuahua Pepita. We also have two cats, Steve and Max who are 12 and 8 and are great with all dogs. Sometimes I think Max is more of a dog than a cat! Our dogs are good girls (spayed) and absolutely love to play! We have about a half acre fenced back yard that they can run freely in to get out all their zoomies. Both of our dogs are fully vaccinated and on flea & tick medication. We have had dogs all our lives and they have always been an important part of our family. We have experience with training certified therapy dogs as well. Our golden retriever, Molly was actively involved in working with Alzheimer's and dementia patients as a certified therapy dog. She passed away last year at 14 years old. She was a good girl. We understand all dogs have different needs and we will be extremely accommodating. Additionally, we work from home so your dog would never have to be alone. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions! We work from home, which gives us the time to be here for your pup! We also try to be very flexible with pickup and dropoff times to make it as convenient as possible. We have a completely fenced backyard (approx. 1/2 acre), which gives the dogs the space to run, play, and to just burn energy in a safe environment! They are never alone and always supervised when playing in the backyard.

Mon-Fri from 12-4 pm is less flexible for me if I am coming to your home to do a walk or potty break, as those are my busiest work hours. I will follow your provided schedule to a T, taking into account your specific routines, wishes, and needs. I understand it can be stressful for pets when their families leave, and I will do everything possible to ease that stress and make sure your pets are happy and relaxed. I am always super careful about closing doors, latching gates, and making sure everything is in order before leaving each home. Your pet's safety and well being is my number one priority. I booked her for a 30-minute walk every day around noon, and I told her I was very flexible with timing. She was always reliable and showed up when scheduled, but what really stood out to me was how much she genuinely cared about my puppy. Even though the walks were booked for 30 minutes, she constantly went above and beyond. Whether it was an extra minute, five minutes, or even ten, she never seemed rushed and truly spent quality time with my dog. After every walk, I didn’t just get one quick picture. “Sarah has such a great connection with animals and is absolutely amazing! She came to our rescue and watched our mini dachshund puppy (Freddie) while my husband and I went a trip we booked months ago. She is very attentive, and took Freddie on several walks and play sessions to keep him engaged and stimulated throughout the day. She sent us multiple videos and photos daily to keep us in the loop, and it put our minds at ease knowing Freddie was receiving so much love, attention, and was clearly having a great time. We highly recommend Sarah as a petsitter, and would love to have her watch Freddie again.”

“We are SO grateful for Gina! Two months before a trip of ours, our 2-y/o German shepherd mix started showing concerning behaviors associated with anxiety and fear. We’ve been working with a behavioralist but had an international trip planned. We chose not to leave our pup with family in order to keep her separated from other dogs as we address her behavior. We found Gina on Rover and we’re so glad we did. Gina kept us up to date while we were away and demonstrated a commitment to Olive’s wellbeing and helping us to work with her on her behaviors on walks, etc. Olive had such a good time during her 9-day stay with Gina and we felt so comfortable leaving her there. “Charlie had an amazing time and felt right at home at Luke’s house. His huge backyard offered the perfect space for him to run around and play in. It was also a plus Luke’s dog was there to play around and wrestle with. Luke is great and very tentative to whatever your dog’s needs are no matter how big or small.
