1. Zoe H.
“Zoe was amazing! I am often nervous leaving my pets with others but Zoe was so enthusiastic & genuine from the start. She always responded quickly to my many anxious messages & questions, & the photo updates she sent made her love of all animals obvious. I originally came to rover because my long time sitter moved away but I have found another in Zoe!!”

2. Joan L.
“Joan is very patient with my somewhat aggressive dog. She arrived on time everyday and was super sweet with Tiger. She really goes above and beyond to bond with Tiger. I am definitely booking with Joan in the future.”

3. MEGAN T.
“I have been extremely pleased with my experience so far having Megan has a dog walker for Cooper while I’m at work! She has been a great communicator responding to me in a timely manner and providing updates on any changes to the expected schedule. Megan also does a great job providing a summary of each visit with Cooper and sends pictures during the time they spend together! This gives me confidence she takes the service she provides seriously and that Cooper is getting the attention I hoped for while I’m away!”

4. Jackson K.

“Jackson provided a great dog walking service! He came for an initial meet and greet and was punctual and diligent throughout the whole process. I would definitely use his services again!”

5. Rachael B.

6. Tori W.

“Tori was available last-minute and took great care of Emerson, as always. She leaves detailed notes about what she does with him and what he does. I feel confident saying that Emerson is in good hands with her.”

“My Lab loves Kate. I love Kate as she takes him on walks and plays with him like he is her own. She always lets me know if her schedule works and has even made changes to her plans to meet my needs. I highly recommend Kate!!!”

9. Sarah C.
About: Like many here, furry family members have perpetually been in my life. Additionally, I have extensive experience with pets outside of my home. I recently left my career of 5yrs managing a high capacity pet boarding facility to return to college. My first job was caretaker at a private animal rescue and have volunteered at many others. I gained experience with a myriad of creatures including: dogs, cats, small creatures, horses, and even a pet pig. Between those jobs, I would regularly petsit as well. Working with animals on both a large and small scale has given me experience in handling skittish pets, senior pets, emergency situations, medication administration, and more. Animals have always been a passion of mine, and I hope to meet some of your fur family members! I am a pre-med student. At the moment, my schedule is in a transition period as the new semester kicks off. I'm a full time student and I attend clinical hours, while I'm not with your pup. Send me a message if you want to know my most up to date availability. ***RETURNING PET PARENTS*** I do have many of my days manually blocked off. I am not accepting new pups during those times, but I may be able to still accommodate your fur family members. It's good to see you again, and feel free to reach out. I live near many parks, trails, and have a dog park in my neighborhood. Hiking is a hobby of mine, and I would gladly take your fur family member on an adventure with me. Safety is a priority for me, so the method of securing and leashing your pet will be discussed on a case by case basis. For example, I will ensure that a loose collar is adjusted, harness is fitted, and/or skittish pets have a backup system.

10. Kevin C.

“Kevin is wonderful! He was the first sitter to actually walk Finn for the full 30 minutes and give him the exercise he needs. Kevin is responsible, communicative, and very knowledgeable about dogs and how to care for them. He even continued some light training with Finn on their walk which is so helpful as we’ve been working on good leash manners. I’m very happy to have found a dog walker I trust and that my dog adores. I highly recommend Kevin to anyone in search of a great dog walker!”

11. Ellen B.

“Ellen was a great communicator and took such great care of my dog Libby on their walk. Ellen was kind enough to fit me in last minute, and I am so appreciative!”

12. Corey C.

“The updates and communication, are top tier. Would 100% use them again! My dog was left happy and exhausted!”

13. Lily H.
About: I've been caring for dogs for about 10 years around my neighborhood and school community. I have always had a family dog in my home as well. I am a huge animal lover, majoring in Animal Science at NCSU - so you can trust that I am comfortable with all pups. I adopted my super-mutt, King about 2 years ago; he is my everything. He is an anxious fella with leash reactivity so I have experience with many behaviors. On top of that, I have also worked in a Veterninary Clinic as a Kennel Tech and have basic medical emergency knowledge. I have used Rover to find sitters for King and decided with a lighter school schedule this semester, I'd give it a go. I have one afternoon class each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday - Otherwise, I'm open! I work part-time as a waitress near campus but my daily shift will not exceed 4-5 hours. Note on Availability Drop in’s & Walks: - Monday: all day! - Tues/Thurs: 7am-12:30pm, after 3pm - Wednesday: 7am-12pm, after 2:30pm - Friday: all day! - Saturday: all day! - Sunday: all day! I would love to spend time with your furry kiddo and provide whatever services you need! I will follow instructions, send updates, and not hesitate to reach out if something seems wrong or unclear. I will treat your good boys and girls as if they were my own. I can provide walks, feeding/watering services, administer medicine, etc. Please ask if there is any unique service I can provide for your pup before booking with me.

14. Hannah D.

“Highly recommended!! She was great with my cat and dog and had great communication. I felt at ease having her come visit with my pets. Would definitely book with her again.”

15. Paige D.

“PAIGE IS AMAZING! I have a (very) High energy rescue pup who is leery of strangers and she has taken the time and been very knowledgeable on slowly getting to know him. She’s a very good communicator and we are very thankful to have found her! Thank you Paige!!!”

16. Caitlyn A.

“Awesome as always. Once again she was able to be at my apartment within 30min of rewearing and booking the walk. She sent several pictures of Hux enjoying his afternoon adventure. He looked super happy and appeared to be having a blast. At the end of the walk she asked if he had any special cookies that she could give him, something I had forgotten to mention. So lucky Hux and good looking out.”

17. Jennifer R.

“Thanks so much for taking care of Samson! Jen we on time everyday and attentive. A+ for communication. She even went above and beyond and carried in boxes from my wife’s Amazon haul. Will definitely use again!”

18. Nicole K.

“Nicole was very responsive and sent me lots of pet photos while I was away! She even included pictures of my cat who she was not being paid to take care of. She was very patient with my dog who tends to be scared of new people. I highly recommend Nicole!”

19. Alexis T.
“Alexis is a great and caring person who loves tremendously to any one or any pet he meets. He always goes the extra mile to make sure everyone feels included and loved. He does a great job with his dog Teddy. I know he will do great in being an excellent pet caregiver!”

20. Allison C.
“Allison watched my two dogs for over a week and took great care of them. She took them for walks, cuddled with them and she made sure to follow all of our instructions, especially for our senior dog. Our dogs love Allison and I would trust her to watch them again.”
