“Megan always does a wonderful job walking Cooper when I’m at work! She is very communicative and provides an update about each visit and photos from the walk and/or playtime. She goes above and beyond what is asked of her when needed - today, she arrived to find that Cooper had gotten into the trash and littered it all over the downstairs. Without complaint or me having to ask her, she cleaned all the trash up while I was gone and then let me know what had taken place. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, rodents, and farm animals. Caring for pets has always been a normal part of life for me, both through my own animals and through pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. Over the years I’ve raised my own puppies and kittens, cared for senior pets, and managed medications and special care needs. One of my own dogs (German Shepherd Dog) was diagnosed with cancer at a young age, and I cared for him throughout treatment until he passed away at age four. That experience taught me how important consistency, patience, and close attention can be when a pet isn’t feeling their best. I also currently care for my senior dog who requires medication. Today I have a labradoodle that I’ve had since he was a puppy, two cats, and my senior dog. I take pride in training my dogs to be well-behaved and socialized. In addition to dogs and cats, as stated previously, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals including lizards, snakes, chickens, rodents, fish, a sun conure parrot, horses, donkeys, alpacas, and pigs. I know every animal is different, and I do my best to learn their routines, personalities, and quirks so they feel comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet is young and energetic, elderly, shy, or needs a little extra attention, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I am a career biochemical scientist and lost my job in April. I am now having a blast working as a full-time stay at home mom. My 1 year old son also loves pets and would need to occasionally accompany me! I am available pretty much around the clock. I prioritize keeping pets on their normal routine as much as possible. I will follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any household rules you’ve established to the best of my ability. I know that consistency helps pets feel comfortable and reduces stress while their owners are away. In a client’s home, I will make sure pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, walks, potty breaks, fresh water, and companionship. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know how they’re doing. In my own home, pets are treated like part of the family. I maintain a safe, clean environment and supervise interactions carefully. I currently have a friendly labradoodle and two cats, so I’m very accustomed to managing different personalities, energy levels, and care needs.

About: I am able to provide puppy training if needed. I can provide walks multiple times a day if needed. I have cared for dogs since childhood and college. My current dog is very friendly with others and would love the company throughout our day. I am available at home to care for your pet every day of the week in any way. My routine is very simple and effective for my own dog and can be adjusted if needed be to accommodate to your own pet needs. I am able to ensure your pet will have plenty of time outside of crates/cages and receive plenty of play time. I can also provide daily updates if needed.

About: I’m a dog mom so I have plenty of experience caring for a dog. He’s my buddy and we’ve gone on more hikes and walks than I can count. I trained him when he was a little pup and I cared for him post surgery when he needed a little extra love and support (he gets a lot🥰). I’ve helped my family and friends by caring for their dogs when they go away or get stuck at work. I also volunteer at the animal shelter where most of my time is spent dog walking. Dogs hold a special place in my heart and my dog is my baby so I can promise that I will take the very best care of your pup!💛 I’m flexible with timeframes and requests as long as I have enough notice. About: I have been pet sitting since I was 14 years old! I have experience with pets of all ages (from month old puppies to elderly pets). I started out my pet care with multi-day full time stays and have performed week-long stays before with pets. I enjoy working with pets of all sizes, small all the way to extra large. I am an NC State student so my weeks are quite packed. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I am free before 11:30am and after 5:30pm for visits/walks. On Fridays, I am free after 4:30pm for visits/walks. I do not work or have school on the weekends so I am completely free 6:00am-8:30pm for walks/visits. I am free to pet sit on the weekends given I do not have something scheduled (in which case my calendar would reflect my unavailability). While I do not do housing of any kind, I have experience staying full time in another’s house while they are away. I can feed and walk anyone’s pets the way they instruct and will provide any form of check-in needed for the owner to be comfortable (pictures, videos, extensive verbal updates, calls, etc.).

About: Both my husband and I have always had multiple pets in our homes since we were little and we wouldn't have it any other way! We have experience with everything from puppies to elderly dogs, from Chihuahuas to German Shepherds. We have two labs - Cam (red) and Bear (chocolate) - who love every dog of every size, breed, and age and get along well with cats too. Possible discounts for multiple days and/or multiple pets. We're excited to meet your best fur friend! We currently work from home with extremely flexible schedules. We do always need to do a meet and greet before booking services just to make sure everyone is a good fit. We have a lot of experience caring for and loving animals. Currently we are only offering drop-in visits and walks, but will happily come by to take care of your animal friend.
