About: We’re an active, dog-loving couple who miss having a furry friend around - so we put all that energy into the pups we host. We raised a golden retriever for over 12 years, through eight different homes, which taught us how to stay flexible and make any space feel like home for a dog. We’ve also cared for the fur-babies of our friends and family over the years, so medium and large breeds are totally our comfort zone. Carleigh works from home every day, and John is home four days a week, meaning your dog gets tons of attention, playtime, and company. We’re not ready for a new pup of our own yet, but we love having short-term four-legged guests to spoil. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because one of us is almost always home, so your dog will get tons of attention, supervision, and company throughout each day. We love taking breaks to go on walks, play outside, or just hang out with a furry friend while we work. About: Hey there! We are Jesse and Diana and we live in the heart of Cary with our teenage daughter, 9 year old black lab mix Delta, 5 year old whippet Skadi, and 4 year old chihuahua Pepita. We also have two cats, Steve and Max who are 12 and 8 and are great with all dogs. Sometimes I think Max is more of a dog than a cat! Our dogs are good girls (spayed) and absolutely love to play! We have about a half acre fenced back yard that they can run freely in to get out all their zoomies. Both of our dogs are fully vaccinated and on flea & tick medication. We have had dogs all our lives and they have always been an important part of our family. We have experience with training certified therapy dogs as well. Our golden retriever, Molly was actively involved in working with Alzheimer's and dementia patients as a certified therapy dog. She passed away last year at 14 years old. She was a good girl. We understand all dogs have different needs and we will be extremely accommodating. Additionally, we work from home so your dog would never have to be alone. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions! We work from home, which gives us the time to be here for your pup! We also try to be very flexible with pickup and dropoff times to make it as convenient as possible. We have a completely fenced backyard (approx. 1/2 acre), which gives the dogs the space to run, play, and to just burn energy in a safe environment! They are never alone and always supervised when playing in the backyard.

About: I am just your average mother to dogs, cats and little humans running around. I am also your local dog/cat groomer. I have 10 years of experience and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon! I am very confident on handling all sorts of pets, pets with special needs, senior pups, puppies, pregnant mommas, unfixed fur babies and of course pups who might need a little discipline. I am pretty observant on behavior and can tend to whatever needs. I am very active(having 2 boys will do that) but I can also lay back. This also isn’t my first rover account. I used to partner with rover a few years back but since having kids and life changes, had to recreate a new updated account. I’m currently a stay at home momma during the week and groom during the weekend. My hubby is home weekends so pets are never left unattended. I have a fenced yard and love to be outdoors if weather permits. I also won’t pass up a cuddle session if thats what decided for the day <3

I’ve been caring for animals since I was about 12, and honestly, it feels like I’ve had a leash or treat pouch in my hand ever since. From childhood pets to neighbors’ pups to friends’ cats who “don’t like anyone” (but somehow curl up in my lap), animals have always been part of my daily life. I’m new to Rover but not to caring for others pets. I request that dogs staying with us be up to date on vaccines and on flea and tick preventative. I currently work part-time from home and my hours are somewhat flexible. If your pet is in my home, I can take breaks as needed for feeding, potty breaks, and pats. Mon-Fri from 12-4 pm is less flexible for me if I am coming to your home to do a walk or potty break, as those are my busiest work hours. I will follow your provided schedule to a T, taking into account your specific routines, wishes, and needs. I understand it can be stressful for pets when their families leave, and I will do everything possible to ease that stress and make sure your pets are happy and relaxed. I am always super careful about closing doors, latching gates, and making sure everything is in order before leaving each home. Your pet's safety and well being is my number one priority. I have a very friendly dog that can accompany me on visits and walks if your dog would like companionship.

We’re lucky to have a nearby dog park that we walk to daily, giving dogs regular exercise, fresh air, and social enrichment as part of their routine. This established rhythm creates a calm, predictable environment where dogs can settle in quickly, while I remain available to supervise, respond to needs, and provide plenty of affection throughout the day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines as closely as possible to minimize stress, including feeding schedules, walks, medication, and preferred play or rest times. I treat each home with respect and provide regular updates, photos, and clear communication so pet parents have peace of mind. In both settings, pets are cared for with patience, affection, and individualized attention—never rushed and never treated like just another booking.
