I’ve had my own dog and cared for him for 12 years. Growing up, we had a family dog that I loved and helped care for as well! I’ve got experience with dogs of all ages and am happy to tailor your pets experience to your desires. I’m happy to provide training, having trained my own dog to the canine good citizen standards, or just reinforce whatever training your pup currently is undergoing. I’ve also had experience watching cats and am happy to provide care for them outside of my home.

Erin came in clutch after our sitter had to cancel due to a family. She was an amazing hostess, gave my dog, lots of love plenty of walks and kept me updated on how he used to. I really appreciate her and I look forward to getting to spend more time with her and Iggy.
Erin was flexible in scheduling a meet and greet. When it came time for Maya’s stay, Erin was very welcoming and accommodating to our old pup. She sent multiple photos and updates while we were away. Would definitely book with Erin again!
Erin and Iggy were the best host family! Lux had a great time bonding with Iggy and Erin was the perfect caregiver. When we showed up for Lux’s stay he was overly excited and basically pulled Erin to her home :) It was a great experience for him and I was included by daily updates and photographs. I would hands down recommend Erin to any and every human fur parent.
I have seen Erin caring for her pets in a loving and responsible manner for about 30 years now. She always considers their needs as important as her own, in most cases, more important. She cares for their physical needs for food and water and walking, of course, but also ensures they get plenty of affection. Erin has cared for several of her friends’ pets and has also volunteered at a shelter. She would make a great pet sitter or dog walker for Rover!
Erin is sweet, caring, and reliable. She's a dog lover, but she also has cared for my cats many times. She has always been very accommodating of their particular feeding schedules and routines and cheerfully handled their litter boxes and other messes. Erin is my first choice when we're going out of town and need a pet sitter!

Schedule
I am currently working part time and come home at lunch to let dogs out and feed as needed. I live in a quieter neighborhood with safe places to walk and am also happy to take them to many of the locations I take my own dog for longer outings such as Lake Johnson or Lake Raleigh

Safety, trust & environment
I have a small fenced in back yard where your dog and mine will be regularly let out to sniff and eliminate as needed. My own dog is taken on two long walks a day along with shorter walks to sniff and eliminate but am happy to accommodate what is needed for your dogs specific needs. Dogs are allowed on the bed and furniture and I can accommodate a dog that is crated. I do sleep upstairs as my place is two floors, but if your dog is uncomfortable going up stairs, I can stay on the first floor with them.

A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs on walks in my neighborhood and on longer hikes at Dorothea Dix park or at one of the many close lakes near me, weather permitting! I have both soft toys and puzzle toys to keep dogs entertained and provide regular access to my small fenced in back yard for potty breaks or to enjoy the weather!
