“Austin & Morgan are the best! I’m always at ease knowing that my dog is in great care when we are away, and I love all of the photos and updates they provide. Thanks again for caring for Dixie!”

“Grace was a wonderful pet sitter while I was out of town! She was timely and gave great updates on my pets, making sure I knew they were well cared for. I will definitely be having Grace come again and recommend her to anyone else who needs a sitter!”

About: I’m a dog mom so I have plenty of experience caring for a dog. He’s my buddy and we’ve gone on more hikes and walks than I can count. I trained him when he was a little pup and I cared for him post surgery when he needed a little extra love and support (he gets a lot🥰). I’ve helped my family and friends by caring for their dogs when they go away or get stuck at work. I also volunteer at the animal shelter where most of my time is spent dog walking. Dogs hold a special place in my heart and my dog is my baby so I can promise that I will take the very best care of your pup!💛 I’m flexible with timeframes and requests as long as I have enough notice. I’m happy to help and I can’t wait to meet your pup!😊 Being a dog mom, dog-sitting, and volunteering at the animal shelter have all helped me develop the necessary skills to take the very best care of your pup!

About: I worked at an animal hospital for 4 years as a vet assistant. I have my Bachelors and Masters in Animal Science from NC State. I love all animals! I have had many pets in my life including dogs, cats, fish, gerbils, etc. I am currently job searching as I just recently finished grad school, so my schedule is wide open for pet care at any time, any day of the week (including weekends)! I take care of other people’s pets as if they are my own. I know how important it is to have proper and trustworthy pet care as these animals are someone’s fur baby! I make sure that pets are comfortable and are as happy as can be!

About: I am excited to help take care of your pet with walks, visits, and house sitting! As a cat mom, I’ve loved taking care of pets and spending time with them. During undergrad, I’ve helped a family friend with their new dog through walks and play. I’ve helped my close friends by watching family dogs and cats as well. I am currently in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Masters program at NC State! My classes are usually between 4pm-7:30pm, so I’m available in the mornings and afternoons for pet sitting! As a cat mom myself, I will work around my pet schedule to help out yours. Whenever I’m at a pet’s home, I make sure to greet them and follow the necessary steps in their care! I make sure to show them some love and affection while I visit.
“Adreanna is a great sitter and my kitties love her! She’s very reliable, communicative and does such a great job. I appreciate her care so much while I’m away. Definitely recommend her :)”

“Claire was absolutely awesome! From the moment she dropped by to meet our dog, to her punctual updates during her visits, she was professional and communicative and clearly a natural caregiver and animal lover. We had some issues with a new medication and our dog's appetite, and Claire was caring and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better caregiver for our dog!”

“We’ve been using Jia for two years now, and I can confidently say she’s amazing—not just with our pups, but overall. It’s incredibly nerve-wracking to find someone you can fully trust in your home while you’re away, but Jia is truly that person. She’s reliable, caring, and absolutely wonderful with our dogs. We’re so grateful to have her!”

About: I am a recent NC State graduate (May 2026) with a B.S. in Zoology and minors in Spanish and Wildlife Sciences. I have been a pet owner my whole life, and currently have a yellow lab named Leo and a calico cat named Scout at my parents house in SC. I have previously also been a proud owner of a guinea pig (Penny) and a crawfish (Big Mama). I am in the Raleigh area until the end of July when my lease is up, and I would love to look after your pets!!! I love animals and have animal care experience from interning at the NC Zoo, BeWild Reptile Rescue, and the NC Museum of Natural Sciences during college. I started babysitting and pet sitting in high school, and would love to continue it while I’m in Raleigh for the summer! As a recent graduate, most of my time is currently spent applying to jobs or organizing the townhouse for my move out in late July! I would love to spend my daytime availability with your fur babies, whether it be in home visits, walks, etc. I live in a townhouse with two kitties (my roommates) and have room in my room or downstairs to accommodate your pets! Our townhouse has extensive green space and a safe neighborhood for daily walks.
“Lauren took such great care of my two cats while I was away! She took the time to clean their litter boxes, feed them and even got playtime in during her visits. Would highly recommend!”

“I felt so comfortable being away on a short trip from my (anxious) dog. Megan sent so many pictures and he always looked so content and happy. She walked him and hung out with him. I know he got so much love and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. <3”

About: I’ve been caring for pets on and off since high school. In the summer of 2023, I helped my neighbor walk two dogs regularly—an older Golden Retriever and a young Pomeranian. I’ve also walked a large Standard Poodle and have experience with dogs of different sizes and energy levels. Some friends have trusted me with pet-sitting at my home; the longest stay was nine days, caring for a medium-sized Poodle and a small mixed breed dog. I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable in a new environment. In the past, I also raised a rescued orange tabby cat from kittenhood. He was with us for many years and remains a very special part of my life. I currently work part-time on weekdays and have flexible availability after 5 PM. Right now, I offer dog walking or cat care—this includes feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and giving your pets plenty of love and attention. I’m not offering boarding services at the moment, but I’m happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their space and routines. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, energy level, and preferences. Whether it’s a shy cat or an energetic dog, I make sure they feel safe and loved while their humans are away. I’m also happy to hear about any special notes or things I should be aware of regarding your pet.
Southwest pet parents share their Rover experiences
Summer was such a wonderful pet sitter for my cat! They were prompt and helpful in their communication, and knew all of the questions to ask to make the experience as seamless as possible. I’ve been back for one day, and I think my cat misses them already! They provided thoughtful and helpful feedback with each visit, and the photos they sent made me feel like my cat was in good hands. I would highly recommended seeking out Summer for your pet care needs.
Mae was an amazing sitter! She was kind, communicative, and incredibly patient, my cat decided to cause some chaos while I was away, and she cleaned up without complaint. She also went above and beyond by handling a wrong address on my account with total understanding. Would absolutely book again!

Erica was wonderful! She was very kind, reliable, and took great care of my cat while I was away. I really appreciated her updates and the peace of mind she provided throughout the stay. It was clear that she genuinely cared, and I would absolutely book her again. Highly recommend!

Courtney was great! She took great care of my cat and was flexible when I added additional visits to her schedule. She made sure to update me on when she was visiting and sent plenty of pet photos during her visits. Would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a pet sitter!

We have used Nico multiple times over the years and have never had one single thing to complain about. He does a fantastic job with our cats. He cleans up after them and even took the smelly trash out. We always come home to a clean house and happy cats! Most importantly, we never have to worry about them while we are away. I highly recommend Nico.
