âChantel was very easy going and flexible. She sent me daily photos and videos. My dog loved her dog, and she will miss her buddy. My dog is a high energy beagle puppy, who loves to follow her nose and could be a runner. She came back to me safe and sound so I am happy.â

âShayne and Jessica were 5 star sitters. This was our first time leaving our dog with sitters for 18 days. He was treated like family and fit in well with their two kids. They communicated well with us while we were gone. They sent us much appreciated pictures and videos on how he was doing. He enjoyed their fenced backyard and enjoyed sunning himself on their deck.â

âTeddy really loves staying here, so we keep coming back!! Love the photo/video updates and my pup gets along really well with her dog, so I know heâs in good hands!!â

âYoshiâs second stay with Charity and her pups was wonderful. I loved the updates, especially the photos! I never have a worry when my pup is with Charity.â

âIsabel was so thoughtful, kind and wonderful with our senior pup. She sent us pictures daily and gave us regular updates. I felt as if she loved our dog as her own. We would highly recommend Isabel! đŤśđťâ

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Iâve owned dogs and cats, and Iâve been pet sitting for the past 15 years, caring for animals of all kinds and personalities. From energetic dogs to independent cats, Iâm comfortable adapting my care to what each animal needs. I take pet sitting seriously and focus on making sure every animal feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Iâm able to do walks and drop-ins during the day, morning, or at night. I also work from home, which allows me to provide consistent attention and flexible care throughout the day. Because of this, Iâm able to board pets anytime and make sure theyâre never left alone for long periods. I prioritize safety, structure, and individualized care whether pets are in my home or theirs. In my apartment, pets are always supervised and kept in a calm, secure environment. I follow each petâs routine closely, including feeding schedules, medications, and any specific care instructions provided. Living in an apartment allows me to take dogs out for multiple structured walks throughout the day, ensuring they get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and bathroom breaks.
About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the level of care, experience, and attention I bring to every dog as if they were my own. Iâm a longtime poodle mom to three senior dogsâMilo, Moose, and Millieâso Iâm especially comfortable with senior care, slower routines, special needs, and lots of patience and affection. I have 9 years of pet ownership and sitting experience and understand how important it is to follow routines closely, notice small changes, and communicate clearly with owners. Iâm detail-oriented, attentive, and reliable, whether that means sticking to feeding schedules, administering medications, or making sure your dog gets the right balance of exercise, rest, and enrichment. Iâm comfortable administering medications and caring for dogs who need a little extra support or monitoring. My home has a secure, fenced-in backyard for safe outdoor time, and inside your dog will find a calm, cozy environmentâwith plenty of couch snuggles and one-on-one attention (my favorite part!). I truly love animals and take pride in providing thoughtful, loving care. You can trust that your dog will be safe, happy, and treated like family while youâre away. My schedule is flexible and I can adapt to the needs of your dog. At a minimum, I offer daily walks, ample backyard time for exploring, and lots and lots of snuggles! My house is extremely dog friendly. I can let your dog lay around with mine during the day on their cloud beds or keep him/her separate based on your preferences. I do have a crate if needed. My backyard is fully and securely fenced.
âArden went above and beyond to ensure Ty was comfortable during my quick trip to Raleigh. Her home and incredible fenced-in backyard are the perfect setup for him to get his daily exercise in! She was great about sending daily updates (with photos), and I could tell how happy he was the entire time, feeling right at home :) I cannot recommend Arden enough - thank you again!!!â

âMartine is absolutely wonderful. This was the 2nd year we left our 3 dogs for a week with them and it feels so good to go on holiday knowing that your dogs are in great hands!â

âLori took great care of our dog Brodie! She gave daily updates and Brodie came back such a happy boy. You can feel the care she and her family have for the dogs they care for and it brings comfort to a dog parent like myself. Will definitely book again!â

âKayla is nothing short of fantastic! From the first communication, to the introduction meeting, to the stay, and everything in between, she was nothing but kind and respectful. My baby boy, Vegas, felt right at home to moment he met Kayla and Bentley. Her home was cleaned and organized. Throughout my time away, she sent me updates and photos, and even took my baby boy to see Santa (which absolutely made my day)! This was his first stay with someone other than family, and I can say that Kayla will be our dog sitter for all future trips. If you are looking for a sitter, I would highly recommend Kayla and Bentley!â

âBrittany was great! My pup Mia seemed to have a blast and fell right asleep after I picked her up. She loved playing at the dog park! Will definitely look to book with Brittany in the futureâ

âTeddy had such a good time! The daily photos and updates we appreciated and we know he had a great time. Will definitely return for future trips :)â

âSuper grateful for Deanna!! Had to go out of town my first weekend living in Raleigh, and I knew my pup was in good hands with her! She had other cute little dogs for him to play with too! Loved getting pics and updates!â

âKelly was fabulous with my two doodles. I had never left them with somebody before and because my oldest dog has sight issues I was very nervous, but Kelly put me at ease immediately. Every day she would send me photos or videos with a little snippet about how things were going. I looked forward to seeing the photos and I could tell that they were having fun running around her yard. It is obvious that Kelly loves dogs and I will definitely use her again.â

âCooper enjoyed his stayed with Austin and Morgan. He was well taken care of and came home happy. They were wonderful about providing daily updates and pictures, so I did not have to worry about my 'baby' while I was out of town.â

âKarisa is the BEST!! She was so flexible with her schedule, which made this so easy. She has great communication and will send pictures and videos. Sheâs so sweet and caring. She and her family are the best! Highly recommend!!!â

âMolly did a great job looking after my dog on his initial visit. He was very happy and calm when I picked him up indicating he was in a very comfortable environment while i was away. Definitely will rebook with Molly on next opportunity.â

South Central dog parents share their Rover experiences
Emily is absolutely wonderful. Weâve used her before and have complete confidence every time we leave our senior golden Charlie in her care. He knows her well and is always so happy to see her, which tells us everything we need to know. We are so grateful for Emily and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving sitter.

Arden was a great sitter for Rooney. We felt very comfortable knowing Rooney was in good, safe hands the whole time. Arden sent us lots of photos and kept us updated on how Rooney was doing, including their daily walks and activities. We would absolutely recommend Arden and will definitely reach out to her again whenever we need someone we trust to watch Rooney.

Bonnie had a great time at Austin and Morganâs! I was thankful they were available to help watch her while my husband and I had last minute work travel come up. I felt very comfortable leaving her at their home and I glad she had their dogs to play with. They were respectful of Bonnieâs routine and sent us frequent updates and pictures both days we were gone. Thank you Austin and Morgan for taking care of our sweet girl!

Kimberly was great to work with. She was flexible and responsive. We had to adjust our drop off time and she made it work with a busy holiday schedule. Wednesday was welcomed enthusiastically and made herself right at home. All around we had a great experience and I highly recommend Kimberly to all the dog parents.

Sarah and her husband Doug were fantastic sitters for our dog, Rooney. We had absolutely no worries during the entire week she stayed with them. They were extremely easy to communicate with, consistently responsive, and provided plenty of thoughtful updates that kept us at ease. They also really took the time to understand Rooneyâs quirks and personality, which made a huge difference. It was clear she felt comfortable and well cared for in their home. Their own dog, Duke, is incredibly sweet, and they got along wonderfully. We would be very happy to use their services again and highly recommend Sarah and Doug to anyone looking for reliable, warm, and attentive sitters.
