About: My greatest loves in this world are animals and nature. I enjoy pets of all sizes, I’ve taken care of all kinds of breeds from Rottweilers to Jack Russell Terriers. I’m experienced with all stages of life, I recently lost my amazing 13yo lab/Irish wolfhound mix after raising him from a puppy. I’m comfortable giving medication and light grooming/brushing, but my favorite is getting them outside for some fresh air and exercise. I love caring for cats and plant-babies too! I’m a freelancer and enjoy taking breaks throughout the day to step away from my computer and get my blood pumping. Making my own schedule means I can be flexible to accommodate your needs. I’m a gentle but firm soul and find a way to connect with a wide variety of temperaments. I’m happy to go slow and meet animals where they are since I know proper care and attention is not one size fits all.

We were able to book on somewhat short notice, our dog got lots of great play time with their dog, plenty of exercise going on runs, we recieved amazing picture and video updates, and they were even willing to administer eye ointment for our dog. We've boarded our dog Nika with Emily several times over the past two years, and she is always wonderful!! She was able to accommodate an unexpected extra day while in the middle of the stay just this past week. Nika loves the environment at and around Emily's home and loves the attention from Emily. I recommend her to anyone needing a dog sitter.
We cannot recommend Arden enough. She took amazing care of our Dog and sent a ton of videos and pictures to keep us at ease. If you live in Raleigh, you shouldn’t consider anyone else but Arden if she is available. She was incredibly accommodating and made our pup feel so safe and loved. Thank you so much!!!!
We had a wonderful experience with Isabel! She always sent us photos and updates about Duke. When we went to pick him up, he didn’t even want to leave—he actually went back inside her house! We highly recommend her, and we’ll definitely be using her services again!
Fraggle had a great week with Isabel and Drew! I loved seeing pictures of my boy and how comfortable he was whether sleeping in his own little bed, stretched out in their bed, or cuddled with them on the couch. I very much appreciated knowing he was safe and well cared for while I was away!

Zulma was amazing! This was my first experience with Rover/overnight boarding and she eased all my troubles! She was able to make Dakota and I comfortable with this new experience. She sent pictures throughout the whole time, and updates on how Dakota was acclimating! 10/10 experience.
