About: I grew up with labs and retrievers but now live alone with my 2 cats (who are pretty much used to dogs, but still wary of them). I watch peoples dogs and foster with Saving Grace when I can so have experience with a wide range of dogs. I am an engineer but am taking time off from that job. One favorite thing to do with a dog I watch is taking them to my building’s fenced in private dog walk and playing fetch! I have a large dog crate if that is better for sitting/boarding but only if that is part of their normal routine. Pets are allowed on the furniture (also if normal) and since I have pets already, I have extra water around the apartment. Since I’m used to hosting dogs, I’m good at “cat proofing” the apartment and my unit has a good layout to separate the cats and the visiting pet if needed. I choose how to take out any dog based on their personality: dog walk at my apartment building, walks, local dog park, hikes, etc. I also have plenty of dog toys.

About: I’m a fully remote Triangle native whose first love (after writing, that is ✍🏽) was for animals. I don’t just look after them—I truly care for them like a family member. Being highly empathetic, I provide both safety and comfort as a bare minimum. As such, I can usually tell (and adapt accordingly) when a furry friend needs more space and gentleness to feel more comfortable versus when they’d benefit from more a more assertive approach. About: I have been giving love to animals all over the spectrum, either in my own home or volunteering at shelters. From young puppies and kittens to the precious seniors, I have cared for them all. Grooming, mild training, stimulating exercise and social interaction, administering medication/shots, preparing special meals, following a dieting plan, and showing unconditional love are all part of my skills. I am currently working a few shifts part time as a bartender, so I will be free during the day, having time to spend all morning and afternoon for care. My boyfriend, Donald, who also provides pet care (added on the Rover profile) , works during the day, and frequently stops by the house on his breaks, so there will always been someone qualified in the household (either your home or mine) to watch your little one! I currently live in a pet friendly neighborhood, walkable to a park, and plenty of trails and sidewalks around as well. I have a two bedroom, spacious apartment, with a large outdoor area for the pups to run around in. I currently have two kitties, and can keep them separated if needed.

“Adriann was SO communicative, relaxed, attentive, and easy to talk to. My Dalmatian is very attached and her temperament can sometimes be snappy, so I was nervous a couple of days before dropping her off. Adriann put me at easy IMMEDIATELY, and took her on an adventure walk right after picking her up. She handled all Koa’s sassy moments with grace, expertise, and patience. And she is FAST asleep after a couple of happy days there! Would easily and happily book again :-)”
