About: I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, snakes, and even a tarantula while growing up, but canine companionship has been a constant throughout my life. I have watched many pets for friends and family throughout high school, college, and into my adult years. I’ve used Rover and other sitters before and know what it’s like to search for the perfect person to entrust you fur-babies with. About: I grew up with labs and retrievers but now live alone with my 2 cats (who are pretty much used to dogs, but still wary of them). I watch peoples dogs and foster with Saving Grace when I can so have experience with a wide range of dogs. I am an engineer but am taking time off from that job. One favorite thing to do with a dog I watch is taking them to my building’s fenced in private dog walk and playing fetch! I have a large dog crate if that is better for sitting/boarding but only if that is part of their normal routine. Pets are allowed on the furniture (also if normal) and since I have pets already, I have extra water around the apartment. Since I’m used to hosting dogs, I’m good at “cat proofing” the apartment and my unit has a good layout to separate the cats and the visiting pet if needed. I choose how to take out any dog based on their personality: dog walk at my apartment building, walks, local dog park, hikes, etc. I also have plenty of dog toys.

About: Been on rover on and off for a few years now - mostly boarding the pups but now I am looking to add walks and do drop in visits! Love meeting new people and pets! I've lived with lots of dogs over the years and my dog and I love them all. Photos of large yard are at an old home, current home has mostly dirt and brick - enough for little potty breaks but will walk them as well. “Amanda was so great for Buddy! She was so flexible in meeting us prior to his stay, and she kept me updated throughout with pictures and video. Whenever I asked how he was doing she promptly replied with a story about his time with her. It was a great comfort knowing that she really cared about his well being while we were gone. “Lauren and her family were amazing with my dog Finn! It was my first time boarding Finn with them and so we did a meet and greet beforehand with Lauren and her dog Riley, which went great and showed how comfortable Finn would be staying with them. During his actual stay, Lauren kept me updated on Finn and sent me pictures every day. It was obvious he was well taken care of and he seemed to really enjoy his time with them. Lauren was also very understanding and accommodating when my plans changed and Finn needed to stay an extra night, which I very much appreciated. I will definitely bring Finn back to stay with them whenever there is need! Thanks again for taking care of Finn! I'm sure he'll miss you! :)”
“Our Shiba Inu puppy was having a great time! She got extremely good care, super fun play times, and Todd also prepared fresh food for her to improve her digestive system which was under some weather before. We also got extensive communications and photo/videos during her stay so we feel like virtually connected to her. Would definitely recommend!”
“Caroline did a great job taking care of Rosie. She is very familiar with dog behavior and has good systems in place to keep your dog happy and safe. She is also good with communicating details during the stay. We also loved not needing to bring our own crate, bowls, bed etc!”

“Adriann was SO communicative, relaxed, attentive, and easy to talk to. My Dalmatian is very attached and her temperament can sometimes be snappy, so I was nervous a couple of days before dropping her off. Adriann put me at easy IMMEDIATELY, and took her on an adventure walk right after picking her up. She handled all Koa’s sassy moments with grace, expertise, and patience. And she is FAST asleep after a couple of happy days there! Would easily and happily book again :-)”
