About: I've had dogs growing up as long as I can remember! I've always grown up in a two-dog household and love being surrounded by dogs! I am a photographer and a coach! I have quite a bit of free time to spend with the pups. If it's not to hot outside, we like to spend our days on walks or in the park. We also love a good rainy day to watch movies and play with toys! Your dog will be treated as if they are one of our own! About: I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, snakes, and even a tarantula while growing up, but canine companionship has been a constant throughout my life. About: I grew up with labs and retrievers but now live alone with my 2 cats (who are pretty much used to dogs, but still wary of them). I watch peoples dogs and foster with Saving Grace when I can so have experience with a wide range of dogs. I am an engineer but am taking time off from that job. One favorite thing to do with a dog I watch is taking them to my building’s fenced in private dog walk and playing fetch! I have a large dog crate if that is better for sitting/boarding but only if that is part of their normal routine. Pets are allowed on the furniture (also if normal) and since I have pets already, I have extra water around the apartment. Since I’m used to hosting dogs, I’m good at “cat proofing” the apartment and my unit has a good layout to separate the cats and the visiting pet if needed. I choose how to take out any dog based on their personality: dog walk at my apartment building, walks, local dog park, hikes, etc. I also have plenty of dog toys.

About: I have years of experience dealing with pets. I owned four pit bulls until their passing. Then, I owned four more for 2 years. I have pet sat for friends and family for 5 years. I had the luxury of pet sitting a raccoon and opossums. I currently own a 4-month-old toy poodle. I am in school, so I am available full-time because school is online right now. I prefer overnight appointments but anytime works. I'm usually home all day. IMPORTANT: For my safety, pick-ups and drop-offs should be before 6 pm. Pick-ups after 6 pm will incur a $20 fee. There is a big backyard for playing. I bring my poodle to the park for a jog in the mornings. I live by a big park for dogs as well.

About: I have been petsitting and dog walking my neighborhood pets for several years and had the privilege to work as a research technician who helped in husbandry at UNC Chapel Hills Division of Comparative Medicine canine unit. I have done pet training which included house training, basic commands (i.e. sit, stay, come), and tricks (i.e. roll over, play dead, circle, beg). My mom was a dog handler and I’ve been lucky to have learned how to handle various unique training or walking routines. I can bath, feed, train, and exercise most all dogs. I am a quick and independent learner with a passion for working with animals. I’m available to stay over weekdays and weekends so long as my schedule is available. My job will be requiring me to be in office throughout the week for the next few months, however location depending, I can provide midday potty breaks during my “lunch” hour. I’m more of a night owl than early riser, but I can accommodate most routines for your pet so long as it’s not earlier than 7AM. Since I frequently travel locally for work, I apologize for not being able to always accommodate bookings with under 2 weeks notice. I currently have 1 Siberian female cat that is dog and cat friendly, and well socialized to children and people. My home has hardwood downstairs and carpet upstairs. I live in a neighborhood with amble green space for walks and fetch for off leash dogs. I do not have a fenced in yard.

My experience administering medication I administer pills and injections through Freedom Ride Rescue. I work from home and will be available most of the day for meals, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. I live near downtown so if I go out on the evenings or weekends I am close to home to check in on the pups! I have a fenced in yard for running around and live near the greenway for walks. I have a ton of dog beds everywhere and dogs are allowed on the furniture. I also have a spare room if your dog needs their own space away from me or my dogs.

“My family and I were preparing to head out of town for my birthday when we realized, in the middle of all the planning, that we had forgotten to schedule a sitter for Oakley. Like any dog mom would, I immediately went to Rover and was pleasantly surprised to see several sitters available. I reached out to a few profiles, and Rebecca D. responded right away, which immediately gave me peace of mind. Rebecca was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We quickly coordinated a plan for dropping Oakley off, and the process was seamless. When we arrived, Rebecca was already outside waiting for us and gave clear instructions on where to park. She even invited us inside, which we politely declined, but I thought it was such a thoughtful gesture. Prior to our arrival, she also shared information about her dog’s temperament, which I really appreciated. Throughout the weekend, Rebecca kept us updated with photos and videos of Oakley, which made us feel so comfortable while we were away. When we picked him up, he was excited to see us, but it was also obvious that he had a wonderful time with her. Oakley came home happy, and we are so thankful for the care Rebecca provided. I would absolutely recommend booking with her!”
“So grateful for Arthur taking care of Jester this weekend! We didn’t have time to do a meet and greet but when we first arrived at his home, Arthur brought his dog out and we did a walk to introduce the dogs to each other, which I thought was a great idea on Arthur’s part. They were buds the rest of the stay. Jester was very happy and enjoyed playing with Coco. Jester got a good long walk with Arthur too. Would totally book with him again!”
“I would highly recommend Lori to watch and take care of your pup when a sitter is needed. She provided great care for my dog while we were away on vacation. Her response time was fast, we were able to schedule a meet and greet that same day and she took excellent care of Finn during his stay. She has 2 well behaved dogs that loved up on Finn. He did so well with Alex and we were at ease for our very special trip. She is organized and handles many dogs at a time with confidence and skill. She is good at communicating so we knew how Finn was doing. I highly recommend Alex! We will use her in the future for sure!”
