“Courtney was fantastic with my GSD-mix, Raina! She was great at following my instructions to the letter while going above and beyond with providing updates and doing the little things for her. On top of that, Courtney is extremely respectful and well-mannered - she left my apartment looking spot less, and left the kindest note complimenting my pup (which means more than any compliment someone could give me). Thank you Courtney!”

About: I have cared for many pets in various neighborhoods of the local area. I provide basic needs and go above and beyond to make sure the pet feels comfortable and cared for while their family is away. I work full-time and will have time to care for pets in the mornings before work and anfternoons after work. I will still make an effort to ensure your pet sticks to their normal routine as close as possible. I require a meet and greet with the pets in their home (to prevent any territorial issues) before the service for any new clients. My current living situation prevents me from hosting pets in my own home, but I ensure the pet is safe and well taken care of in their home, following the care instructions left by the family.

“We have never had a house sitter for our dog. We were apprehensive but decided to give it try. Cannot say enough good things about Nate! He kept us informed as to his schedule and how they were getting along. We would, and plan to plan to use Nate again in the future. Highly recommend him.”

“Kaelin did a wonderful job taking care of our house and two dogs for six days while we were out of town. She sent pictures daily and seemed to really enjoy her time with the dogs. I recommend her services wholeheartedly!”

“Kelly was absolutely spectacular with our dog, who is a bundle of nerves and we’ve never left before. She took the time to meet him in advance and answer all our questions. She sent us daily pictures and really put our minds at ease! We will not hesitate to ask for her services again. We are so thankful to have found Kelly!!”

“Britney was amazing! We need a house sitter last minute, and she came through! From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing our home and animals were in such capable hands. She sent us multiple pictures, communicated throughout the day and followed all of my instructions, which really helped us relax while we were away. On top of that, our home was spotless when we returned, and everything was exactly as we left it (if not better!). All 3 animals (2 cats, 1 dog) responded well to her and even slept with her! Britney has a talent for relating to animals and the animals responding in turn. We will definitely book her again!”

“Booking with Lily was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. She is truly one of the most professional and communicative people I’ve ever worked with. She’s incredibly intelligent, thoughtful, and genuinely caring — not just with the dogs, but in every aspect of the house sit. Both of my dogs are on a special diet, and she handled their feeding instructions perfectly. That level of attention to detail is absolutely essential for us, and she delivered with total reliability and care. What truly surprised me, though, was how beautifully she took care of our home. In the past, I’ve often come back from trips feeling overwhelmed because the house needed cleaning after a sit — especially with dogs tracking in dirt. This time, I walked in and felt like the house had been professionally cleaned. It was such a gift to return to a calm, spotless space. I would highly recommend Lily without hesitation. If she’s available when we travel again, I will absolutely be booking her.”

“Dawn is an absolute gem and took amazing care of our Boxer rescue, Bruno. She sent regular updates with tons of pictures (something our daughters loved) over the three days we were gone. Dawn went above and beyond during her stay and we are grateful to have found someone who can handle our anxious boy. In fact, we’ve already rebooked her for our beach vacation this summer!”

“Autumn was great! She sent lots of updates on our pup and the house was spotless when we returned home from our trip. We will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Jylesha was a solid puppy and house sitter! We hired Jylesha in a a time crunch and she was very accommodating with our last-minute booking. She communicated quickly and well, and she did exactly as we asked with the dogs. She was a great house guest and we would not hesitate to work with her again!”

“I’m so grateful for the amazing care Garrett provided for my cat, Adele. He was attentive, responsible, and kept me updated, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Adel was clearly very well taken care of and comfortable, and I could tell she received a lot of attention and care. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

About: Growing up I have always been surrounded by animals! I have been a cat foster for over two years and dog owner for over ten. I LOVE all animals, but most of my experience are with dogs and cats. What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my experience providing specialized care for dogs on medication, trapping a fixing stray cats and kittens and my many years of fostering. Pet owners can rely on me to handle both routine and complex pet care with compassion, care, and love. ✨UPDATED AVAILABILITY 06/08: ✨ I have moved to Raleigh I work 6:00pm-5am Wed-Saturday and no longer work on most Sunday and Monday mornings. Outside of those hours, I am free to take care of your fur babies. WINTER MONTHS: To keep every pup safe and comfortable during colder months, I follow temperature-based guidelines for walks: • 45°F and above: Full walks — totally safe for most dogs! • 32–45°F: Normal walks, but I watch closely for shivering or paw lifting (especially for small or short-haired pups). • 20–32°F: “Caution zone.” Walks may be shorter (10–20 minutes) unless your dog is a cold-tolerant breed. Coats/booties recommended. • 0–20°F: High-risk cold. Visits become short potty breaks only to prevent frostbite. • Below 0°F: Potty-only for safety — no long outdoor walks. I’ll always communicate any adjustments and make sure your pet stays safe, warm, and cared for with love. 🐾💙 Currently, I only do client home services. When caring for pets in my clients' homes, I prioritize building trust and creating a comfortable environment. I take the time to let pets get to know me at their own pace, using patience and positive reinforcement to make them feel safe. I maintain their daily routines, including feeding, exercise, and medication schedules, to reduce stress. With experience fostering cats, handling stray kittens, and caring for dogs with heart disease, I am attentive to each pet’s unique needs. Owners can trust me to care for their pets with compassion, ensuring a secure and loving environment.
“Sydney was a fantastic pet sitter! She took great care of my mini dachshund and also house sat for a weekend. My puppy is usually shy around new people, but he warmed up to her right away. When I got home, the apartment was cleaner than I left it. I’ll definitely be using Sydney again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!”

“We reached out to Stacey when we had some last minute plans changed. Stacey went out of her way to do a meet and great as soon as possible. Our two dogs took to her and Jeremy right away and I could tell they would be fine with them. It was great that Stacey could work from our house all day and be there to hang with the dogs, letting them in and out, which is what they were used to when I was home. Stacey and Jeremy coordinated their schedules so Jeremy could stay later on the last day of their booking to help us out. We are glad we found them and have already booked them for another stay.”

“Mila was amazing. She was engaged with both of our dogs, especially with our boy Nico. It takes him awhile to get used to new people and she met with us twice before our house silting appt to make sure Nico was comfortable with her. She did a wonderful job and we will absolutely will use her in the future. We could not have asked ask for a better caretaker for our furbabies. Thanks again Mila!”

“Jeri is absolutely first-class in taking care of your pets. She treats your pet like family, is exceptionally professional, and is very detail-oriented. She stayed with my pet for a week and couldn’t have done a better job. She is a wonderful caretaker and will be my go-to for these services.”

Central pet parents share their Rover experiences
Alison was great! She was so communicative with us. This was our first time leaving our baby with someone else and from the start she just had qualities that made me feel better about doing so. She asked all good questions, was super timely, and overall I was left without any concerns! Thank you Alison for taking such good care of our girl! Our pup is very young right now and can be quite a handful, but Alison seemed to have handled her very well. Would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Dawn was fantastic!! She stayed overnight with my two dogs and kitten. I loved that she sent daily reports at the end of the day as well. I have a senior lab who I was worried about leaving but Dawn took great care of all three and made me feel so comfortable being away. She left my apartment just as when I left and very respectful of my space (even though I told her to make herself at home!) Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter! Already have her booked for my next trip!
Maya was truly the absolute best dog & house sitter! She took amazing care of our dog Layla and home. She was an excellent communicator, sent lots of photos and super sweet. I would trust her for any of your pet sitting needs and would love to hire her again in the future. Thanks for being so awesome!

Courtney was the most thoughtful and thorough caregiver I’ve ever had. She watched over 2 dogs and 2 cats and was communicative about how each one was doing. She even noted that one of the dogs wasn’t feeling well and helped create a plan to make him feel better. This is the most stress free I’ve been when leaving my animals for a long vacation. I could not recommend her more.

Adel was clearly very well taken care of and comfortable, and I could tell she received a lot of attention and care. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

We highly recommend Marin. We had a last minute need for a pet sitter and Marin really helped us out. She kept us updated with texts and it was obvious that she really cares for dogs. Our Coral is her new best friend. Usually Coral is very excited when we return from trips but this time she just gave us the "oh, it's you. where's Marin". Thanks Marin for a great job.

Elias was absolutely wonderful staying with Kody for a week while we were out of town. Kody was happy and well loved when we came home. We would use him again in a heartbeat and hope the next time we go out of town Elias is available. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her.
