“My family and I were preparing to head out of town for my birthday when we realized, in the middle of all the planning, that we had forgotten to schedule a sitter for Oakley. About: I grew up with labs and retrievers but now live alone with my 2 cats (who are pretty much used to dogs, but still wary of them). I watch peoples dogs and foster with Saving Grace when I can so have experience with a wide range of dogs. I am an engineer but am taking time off from that job. One favorite thing to do with a dog I watch is taking them to my building’s fenced in private dog walk and playing fetch! I have a large dog crate if that is better for sitting/boarding but only if that is part of their normal routine. Pets are allowed on the furniture (also if normal) and since I have pets already, I have extra water around the apartment. Since I’m used to hosting dogs, I’m good at “cat proofing” the apartment and my unit has a good layout to separate the cats and the visiting pet if needed. I have done pet training which included house training, basic commands (i.e. sit, stay, come), and tricks (i.e. roll over, play dead, circle, beg). I’m more of a night owl than early riser, but I can accommodate most routines for your pet so long as it’s not earlier than 7AM. I currently have 1 Siberian female cat that is dog and cat friendly, and well socialized to children and people. My home has hardwood downstairs and carpet upstairs. “Kelly was awesome! This was my first time boarding my dog Finn with her. We had just recently moved to the area but still needed to take care of a lot of things out of town. Kelly was able to do a meet and greet with us beforehand and it went great. She has a huge fenced in yard for all the dogs to roam around in and play, and Finn fit in well with her and her dogs. During Finn's actual stay, he got comfortable in her home and made new friends with both the resident and visiting dogs. Kelly made sure to send me pictures and videos throughout his stay too, which I very much appreciated. It was obvious to me that Finn was well taken care of and that Kelly genuinely loves all the dogs in her care. She was also very accommodating with the drop off and pick up times. I will definitely bring Finn back to stay with her the next time there is a need. Thanks again Kelly! Finn will miss you, Miska, Ruby, and all the other dogs who came to play! :)”

About: I love animals and can connect with dogs and cats of different temperaments. My main experience is with cats: feeding, litter box care, socialization, and play. I also have practical dog experience walking dogs belonging to my sister and my friends and staying with them for some periods - no issues, the dogs were friendly and well-behaved. I am adaptable to various temperaments, closely follow owners’ instructions on routine and care, and prioritise safety and the pet’s well-being. I work only with healthy, routine animals and do not provide medical care. I’m available for cats and dogs care with flexible scheduling. I can do drop-in visits on weekdays and weekends, including mornings and evenings. I’m consistent with routines and can do 1–2 visits per day depending on your needs. I also accept occasional cat and dog boarding in my home when my schedule allows. Message me with your preferred times and your pet’s routine. I follow your instructions carefully for feeding, fresh water, walking, litter box care, and playtime. I’m calm with shy pets and respect their boundaries. I keep keys secure, double-check doors and windows, and send photo updates after each visit. For boarding, I provide a quiet, clean space with a dedicated litter area and regular updates to keep you informed.
