About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, rodents, and farm animals. Caring for pets has always been a normal part of life for me, both through my own animals and through pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. Over the years I’ve raised my own puppies and kittens, cared for senior pets, and managed medications and special care needs. One of my own dogs (German Shepherd Dog) was diagnosed with cancer at a young age, and I cared for him throughout treatment until he passed away at age four. That experience taught me how important consistency, patience, and close attention can be when a pet isn’t feeling their best. I also currently care for my senior dog who requires medication. Today I have a labradoodle that I’ve had since he was a puppy, two cats, and my senior dog. I take pride in training my dogs to be well-behaved and socialized. In addition to dogs and cats, as stated previously, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals including lizards, snakes, chickens, rodents, fish, a sun conure parrot, horses, donkeys, alpacas, and pigs. I know every animal is different, and I do my best to learn their routines, personalities, and quirks so they feel comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet is young and energetic, elderly, shy, or needs a little extra attention, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I am a career biochemical scientist and lost my job in April. I am now having a blast working as a full-time stay at home mom. My 1 year old son also loves pets and would need to occasionally accompany me! I am available pretty much around the clock. I prioritize keeping pets on their normal routine as much as possible. I will follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any household rules you’ve established to the best of my ability. I know that consistency helps pets feel comfortable and reduces stress while their owners are away. “Kelly was awesome! This was my first time boarding my dog Finn with her. We had just recently moved to the area but still needed to take care of a lot of things out of town. Kelly was able to do a meet and greet with us beforehand and it went great. She has a huge fenced in yard for all the dogs to roam around in and play, and Finn fit in well with her and her dogs. During Finn's actual stay, he got comfortable in her home and made new friends with both the resident and visiting dogs. Kelly made sure to send me pictures and videos throughout his stay too, which I very much appreciated. It was obvious to me that Finn was well taken care of and that Kelly genuinely loves all the dogs in her care. She was also very accommodating with the drop off and pick up times. About: I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting since I was 19. I absolutely love dogs, taking them on walks (or runs if needed!), and just giving them all my love. I’m working from home and have a pretty flexible schedule. I’m able to help out anywhere from once to probably two times a day if you want! I live in a two bedroom townhome with my 8 year old heeler. My dog is very sweet and likes to hang and walk with most dogs but can be shy when meeting a new friend or territorial (just loudly barks) over her bed and crate. About: I am just your average mother to dogs, cats and little humans running around. I am also your local dog/cat groomer. I have 10 years of experience and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon! About: I adopted my first dog Benson when he was 6 and cared for him through his senior years. I started fostering in 2020 to give him company. I finally have my own dogs but still love meeting and caring for other dogs. Meet my pets Keeley is a 4 year old chow mix that loves herding people to the couch for snuggles. Brisket is a supermutt puppy still learning her manners but friendly with all dogs and people. My cat, Meowedith, is a ~16 year old rescue. She's very sweet but takes a little time to get comfortable with new people and dogs. She is fine with dogs if they give her her space when she wants it. About my yard I have a fenced in backyard. My experience administering medication I administer pills and injections through Freedom Ride Rescue. I work from home and will be available most of the day for meals, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. I live near downtown so if I go out on the evenings or weekends I am close to home to check in on the pups! I have a fenced in yard for running around and live near the greenway for walks. I have a ton of dog beds everywhere and dogs are allowed on the furniture. I also have a spare room if your dog needs their own space away from me or my dogs.

About: I have been petsitting and dog walking my neighborhood pets for several years and had the privilege to work as a research technician who helped in husbandry at UNC Chapel Hills Division of Comparative Medicine canine unit. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, rodents, and farm animals. Caring for pets has always been a normal part of life for me, both through my own animals and through pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. Over the years I’ve raised my own puppies and kittens, cared for senior pets, and managed medications and special care needs. One of my own dogs (German Shepherd Dog) was diagnosed with cancer at a young age, and I cared for him throughout treatment until he passed away at age four. That experience taught me how important consistency, patience, and close attention can be when a pet isn’t feeling their best. I also currently care for my senior dog who requires medication. Today I have a labradoodle that I’ve had since he was a puppy, two cats, and my senior dog. I take pride in training my dogs to be well-behaved and socialized. In addition to dogs and cats, as stated previously, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals including lizards, snakes, chickens, rodents, fish, a sun conure parrot, horses, donkeys, alpacas, and pigs. I know every animal is different, and I do my best to learn their routines, personalities, and quirks so they feel comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet is young and energetic, elderly, shy, or needs a little extra attention, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I am a career biochemical scientist and lost my job in April. I am now having a blast working as a full-time stay at home mom. My 1 year old son also loves pets and would need to occasionally accompany me! I am available pretty much around the clock. I prioritize keeping pets on their normal routine as much as possible. I will follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any household rules you’ve established to the best of my ability. I know that consistency helps pets feel comfortable and reduces stress while their owners are away. In a client’s home, I will make sure pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, walks, potty breaks, fresh water, and companionship. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know how they’re doing. In my own home, pets are treated like part of the family. I maintain a safe, clean environment and supervise interactions carefully. I currently have a friendly labradoodle and two cats, so I’m very accustomed to managing different personalities, energy levels, and care needs.

“Kelly was awesome! This was my first time boarding my dog Finn with her. We had just recently moved to the area but still needed to take care of a lot of things out of town. Kelly was able to do a meet and greet with us beforehand and it went great. She has a huge fenced in yard for all the dogs to roam around in and play, and Finn fit in well with her and her dogs. During Finn's actual stay, he got comfortable in her home and made new friends with both the resident and visiting dogs. Kelly made sure to send me pictures and videos throughout his stay too, which I very much appreciated. It was obvious to me that Finn was well taken care of and that Kelly genuinely loves all the dogs in her care. She was also very accommodating with the drop off and pick up times. I will definitely bring Finn back to stay with her the next time there is a need. Thanks again Kelly! Finn will miss you, Miska, Ruby, and all the other dogs who came to play! :)”

About: I’ve had dogs for 15 years. I’ve watched and cared for dogs a lot. I want your pup to enjoy their time while you’re enjoying yours. We have a fenced in yard so your dog can be safely let out. I also have a dog of my own so am already on routine for morning / evening walks. Would love to hangout and spend time with your best friend. Me and my boyfriend are pretty flexible after work on weekdays and on weekends. We can curtail your dogs time with us based on what your dog enjoys! We love finding new walking trails, hanging at the house, etc. Just let us know what your pup loves and we’ll try our best to accommodate ! Weekly routine M- F: I am at work from 730-430 Sat-Sun: pretty much at the home most of the day. Can curtail my schedule to your pups needs! *if known ahead of time might be able to get off early on Friday for drop off! Me and my boyfriend love pets at our home and want to make sure they’re as comfortable as can be. We are both pet lovers and want to make sure your pup is happy while you’re away. Again please just let us know what makes your pup happy and we’ll try our best to ensure your dog has a great time while you’re away !
