Spend five minutes with them and their passion and love for animals is obvious. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with Diana and Jesse. While with Diana and Jesse, our dog had a great time. He was well cared for and returned home happy and healthy. Diana and Jesse, respond quickly to messages, share pictures on a regular basis and adapted to our pet's needs. Their pets are very accommodating of new animals as well. Our dog will be back under the care of Diana and Jesse the next time we travel. I suggest you go meet Diana and Jesse as well.”

We had never had to board our 6 year old dog for more than a couple nights before and were nervous about him having to do an extended stay at an older age as he is quite spoiled. We met with a few people on rover and ended up landing on Kirsten and another option. We initially chose the other person because we felt he would give a more personalized experience since Kirsten always had a couple of dogs under her care, however to be safe we did the trial day care with Kirsten before a one night stay we had leading up to this one and it went great. She left a detailed report and sent pictures and it seemed like he had a good time in her big backyard and living w her human and extended pet family. We felt comfortable enough to use her for the overnight after that and it was great. Easy drop off and pick up and was quite obvious she was very knowledgeable. Because of that we change our mind for the extended stay and received amazing service. Each night she sent multiple pictures and a daily recap telling us about relationships he formed with their family and other dogs staying with her along with pictures. When we picked him up he was excited to see us but even made a dash for inside to go hang out w his new friends again! We have no concerns about needing to board in the future because we know he will be in the best of hands with Kirsten.”

About: I've always had lots of cats. Growing up on a farm in Iowa, we would have upwards of 15 cats at a time! After we moved off our farm, we adopted an all-white cat named Ramsey, who is deaf. Ramsey is about 10 years old now and is happier than ever! Ramsey is my mom's cat, and when I moved into a house, I needed a friend for my dog, Molly. At this point, I adopted a kitten and named her Lolo.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I have experience with caring for puppies, and more elder dogs. During Covid, my roommate and I started fostering dogs. We fostered an old sweet yellow lab, 2 puppies with worms and that were to be neutered, and a rambunctious pit bull that suffered from separation anxiety. For the last 4 years, I’ve been formally dog walking and pet sitting. I travel for a lot for work so I’m not able to have a pet of my own, but I’m more than happy to walk and care for yours! My schedule is quite all over the place, so feel free to reach out and I’ll try to accommodate! I’m a nurse and I work three days a week, so the rest of the week I’m fairly available! I won’t be able to offer overnight boarding or sitting at my residence, but Im more than happy to commute to yours! I’ve got experience with dogs of all ages and am happy to tailor your pets experience to your desires. I’m happy to provide training, having trained my own dog to the canine good citizen standards, or just reinforce whatever training your pup currently is undergoing. I’ve also had experience watching cats and am happy to provide care for them outside of my home. I am currently working part time and come home at lunch to let dogs out and feed as needed. I live in a quieter neighborhood with safe places to walk and am also happy to take them to many of the locations I take my own dog for longer outings such as Lake Johnson or Lake Raleigh I have a small fenced in back yard where your dog and mine will be regularly let out to sniff and eliminate as needed. My own dog is taken on two long walks a day along with shorter walks to sniff and eliminate but am happy to accommodate what is needed for your dogs specific needs. Dogs are allowed on the bed and furniture and I can accommodate a dog that is crated. I do sleep upstairs as my place is two floors, but if your dog is uncomfortable going up stairs, I can stay on the first floor with them.
