About: I've always had lots of cats. Growing up on a farm in Iowa, we would have upwards of 15 cats at a time! After we moved off our farm, we adopted an all-white cat named Ramsey, who is deaf. Ramsey is about 10 years old now and is happier than ever! Ramsey is my mom's cat, and when I moved into a house, I needed a friend for my dog, Molly. At this point, I adopted a kitten and named her Lolo.

About: I’ve been caring for pets on and off since high school. In the summer of 2023, I helped my neighbor walk two dogs regularly—an older Golden Retriever and a young Pomeranian. I’ve also walked a large Standard Poodle and have experience with dogs of different sizes and energy levels. Some friends have trusted me with pet-sitting at my home; the longest stay was nine days, caring for a medium-sized Poodle and a small mixed breed dog. I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable in a new environment. In the past, I also raised a rescued orange tabby cat from kittenhood. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and really appreciate how they enrich my life in multiple ways. I recently lost my beloved Ripley and am opening myself up to some temporary dog companionship to help both myself and others. I am a responsible adult (I have a successful career and a PhD) and I’m also a parent. I work from home for weeks at a time, but I try to maintain an active lifestyle. I try to get 15k steps in every day, which is much easier with dogs around. As a result, I am able to walk dogs that I board multiple times throughout the day. I also enjoy regular jogs around a nearby lake. This is also much easier with a dog. If your dog likes to run, I can take them for 3 mile jogs, which I am currently doing solo. I have a single family home and a fenced yard. I have a screened in 2nd story deck with stairs to the yard. It is a great spot for both humans and canines to relax. It’s fairly private with a wooded area in the back, where squirrels and birds are pretty active during the day. Dogs love it (and so do I). I often had to force Ripley to come inside before bed; she would fall asleep out there and not want to move. I have owned mostly large dogs (100+ lbs), but I have also looked after very small dogs as well. I’m 6’2” and pretty active, so there’s no dog too big for me to handle. I can lift them into the car without trouble if that’s necessary. Just to recap - if you’re looking for a reliable dog lover to look after your pet, whether it be for boarding, day-sitting, walks, or runs (or all of the above), give me a shout. They will definitely enjoy themselves with me. I work from home and try to stay active, so I am pretty flexible with pet care. I take regular walks and/or jogs outside, so I would’ve around most of the time and they would get regular exercise and attention I have a single family home with a fenced yard. It has a 2nd story screened and roofed/covered deck with stairs to the back yard. It’s fairly private with a small wooded area in the back. For day-sitting or boarding, pets can basically come in and go out as they please.

About: I have had several pets my whole life, though for the last several years I have been soley responsibly for my own dogs, including a dashing senior citizen. I currently live with a puppy that I am helping to raise and train. At the time of writing, I do no not have anything else going on, giving me plenty of time to dedicate to your baby/ies! My only exemption is Monday, though every other day I am free at all hours of the day. Though I no longer live with a fenced yard, I am well versed in helping a dog (aged from puppy to senior) outside to go potty, as well as taking on walks to provide that time. I am comfortable with crate training as well as feeding routines, adaptable to whatever works best to get that pup to eat.

About: I have one 9-year-old dog who is reactive and has behavioral issues, so I’m very experienced in all types of dog personalities. I also recently adopted a cat! I'm very good with all animals and love them unconditionally, I've pet-sat for multiple people throughout my lifetime and I want to continue to do it. “Tori and her family took such great care of our small older dog who has some health issues including med administration needs and occasional pain due to previous cancer. Everything from getting holly to their home (Tori last minute offered to pick Holly Up and this was a godsend because our trip was last minute and we were trying to coordinate many other things) to start her visit to pick up and updates in between were great. Her sons are very gentle and natural animal lovers so that was not any concern even though our dog generally prefers calm environments. I would highly recommend Tori and her family for caring for your pet!”

She came to our rescue and watched our mini dachshund puppy (Freddie) while my husband and I went a trip we booked months ago.
