Still in recovery from an attack by a large dog, our little seven pound puppy Maui needed extra TLC. Martine and Ron were as loving and caring as we could ever had hoped for. I recommend them most highly and without reservation!

I was very nervous about leaving my baby with a sitter for the first time but Rebecca was very reassuring. She sent me pictures and updates throughout the day and let me know that Roxy was having fun while staying with her. I will definitely be leaving Roxy with her in the future!

About: Hello! I graduated from NC State and currently work in technology so I'm frequently working from home and can be there for your bff. I've been taking care of dogs (and cats) for 10+ years and 10/10 humans rate me as a good sitter. I currently don't have a dog or any pets at all as my work frequently requires me to travel so I'll be using this opportunity to fill that void. I like to stay active and am a frequent visitor of our local parks and green ways, I love to travel and see new places and curling up on the couch with a good cup of tea. I would be so delighted to hang out with your loved one while you are away!

About: Animals have had my heart my whole life! I have had dog and cat fur babies, and I’ve been a sitter for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and reptiles. My senior dog Gideon recently passed away, and it’s given me immense joy to help my neighbors with their dogs and fill my heart with some doggo love. I adopted my dog when he was being re-homed at the age of four because he was too much work for his previous family. He came to me with trauma-influenced behaviors and extreme anxiety, and we worked together every day to support each other and grow over time. He was able to have such a happy life and I miss him every day! I’d love to share some of my love with your pet! I am currently working from home and able to be very present for the pets in my home! I have plenty of time for walks, playing, giving attention, and down time. I live in a two story townhome with a fenced-in patio and non-fenced yard. I live in a friendly and safe community for taking walks or playing together outside. I have a friendly cat, but I am able to keep the cat in a separate space if needed.

My dog does doggy daycare with Brad throughout the week and he is amazing. She is a high strung dog who never seems to run out of energy but when she comes home she goes right to bed! He’s quick to respond and will send pics throughout the day, 10000% recommend!!

About: We're a dog-loving couple with a senior dog named, Ryder. We love furry kids, so we can't wait to love and keep your pup safe, while you're gone. Here are some reasons why we might be a great fit for your pup: - We only sit 1 dog at a time - We both work remotely M-F - We've been on a dog schedule for many years (no sleeping in for us, haha) - Our place is already doggy-proofed 🐶 How would you describe Ryder? Ryder is a calm, curious, and friendly senior dog. He's not one to chase other dogs and doesn't enjoy being chased. He's gotten along with huskies, beagles, and other similar-sized good boys and girls. He's a big couch potato who sleeps most of the day. 🐾 How frequently can you take my dog out? Since we work from home, we're able to take your dog out for potty breaks every 3 to 4 hours, with long walks in between—if your dog's endurance allows it. 🏠 Do you ever leave the dogs home alone? We both try to stay home when sitting a dog. If we need to briefly step out, we give the dogs have their own separate and safe spaces. Ryder will hangout in the bedroom with his sound machine on and the door locked (which he loves), while your dog enjoys free roam of the living room. 💛 Are you able to cater to my dog’s special needs? We’re happy to accommodate special requests like: feeding dogs separately to ensure meal times are safe, refraining from vacuuming if your dog's scared of noise, putting shoes away if your dog's a little shoe snacker (haha), etc. Please let us know every detail on how we can keep your dog safe and comfortable. 📸 Do you send photo and video updates? We love sharing updates! We send photos and or videos with every booking – usually a couple to few times a day. We know how comforting it is to know your dog's happy. 📪💌🤠 Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions. We typically reply back within the hour. Thank you so much! We have a lot of flexibility for schedules, potty breaks, and walks as needed. We try our best to keep your pet's routines to ensure they're comfortable and happy with us. Ryder might be a little guy, but he loves his (short and long) walks and gets about 4-5 of them a day. We have a dog stroller, dog backpacks, and doggy seatbelts for safety if your dog would like to have park days.

Rosey is exceptional and intentional in the love and care that she gave to my sweet Lily. Her approach to communication from the first text message to ongoing communication and coordinating about the details and modifications made it easy to learn more about her and to build a trusting relationship with her in a short period of time. I appreciated every text message and photos while I was away on vacation. Her communication, attention and genuine care helped me to feel at ease and totally relaxed. When I dropped Lily off, I knew that I was leaving her with a professional who would love and attend to her needs. Rosey has a warm and inviting energy and personality; Her home is set up to protect and care for pets. If you’re looking for someone who would take care of your pet like you would, I recommend Rosey.

About: Hey dog friends. I work from home all day, so your dog will not be alone. I can keep your dog overnight for $38/night (Rover adds additional fees), or, I can watch your dog during the day. As you can see, I'm not in this for the money; I'm doing this because I love dogs, and my young dog would love the company. I will spoil your dog rotten (the way I spoil my own). I sit at a computer for work, and I get up and go outside every 4 hours for a short walk. My dog gets two long walks a day. I'd be bringing your dog outside for a quick walk about every 4 hours (plus the two long walks) throughout the day. I cook for my dog (baked chicken, sweet potato, green beans, peas, plain Greek yogurt), and after reviewing your dog's dietary restrictions with you, I can sprinkle these treats over your dog's food, if you'd like and with your permission. Dogs in this house are allowed on the furniture, and I sleep with them. I only pet-sit one dog at a time. I can literally give you 10+ references, because my friends tell me that they want to be reincarnated as my dog after they die. The only restrictions I have is that your dog is potty-trained, treated for fleas, and not aggressive. HIGH STRUNG AND OVERLY ACTIVE DOGS WOULD NOT BE A GOOD FIT FOR MY 18-POUND DOG. Also, if a dog pulls too hard on a leash, it hurts my shoulder (I had a sports injury). We do not care for first-time dogs for an extended period of time. Maximum time for first-time dogs is 4 days. UPDATE: Large dogs aren't a good fit. They tend to play too roughly with my 18-pound dog. So dogs who are 30 pounds and under are welcome. While we don't have a fenced-in yard, we have a big yard with woods in back. We live on a quiet street in a cul-de-sac off Falls of Neuse near Durant Road. My dog is up on all his vaccinations and is on flea-preventative treatment. I have records I can show you. I'd like for your dog to be up on his or her shots and be treated for fleas as well, for the well-being and health for both of our animals. My dog Grayson has completed 'DOG HOME MANNERS' at Topline K9 Solutions, so he's a well-behaved little boy and would be good company for your dog. However, a high-strung dog who plays rough may accidentally hurt my dog. My dog is sweet, not aggressive at all, and is only 20 pounds. So if you would like for your doggie to be very well cared for, let me know. We can meet beforehand for a free Meet-n-Greet at a private fenced-in area. I work from home, so it's easy to care for your dog. Your dog will not become lonely. I do teach a class 3 times a week away from home, but only for an hour each class. Thankfully, Meghan was such an angel and accepted our request to do daycare for her at the last minute. Codee was wonderful with my dog, Draco! From the moment we arrived, she made him feel right at home, and he settled in quickly. She kept me updated with messages and photos throughout the day, so I knew he was happy and well cared for. Draco clearly enjoyed himself—he was excited to go back on the second day, which says it all! Codee was friendly, flexible, and easy to communicate with, and it’s clear she genuinely loves dogs. I highly recommend her and will absolutely book with her again.
