I've been taking care of dogs (and cats) for 10+ years and 10/10 humans rate me as a good sitter. About: Animals have had my heart my whole life! I have had dog and cat fur babies, and I’ve been a sitter for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and reptiles. My senior dog Gideon recently passed away, and it’s given me immense joy to help my neighbors with their dogs and fill my heart with some doggo love. I adopted my dog when he was being re-homed at the age of four because he was too much work for his previous family. He came to me with trauma-influenced behaviors and extreme anxiety, and we worked together every day to support each other and grow over time. He was able to have such a happy life and I miss him every day! I’d love to share some of my love with your pet! I am currently working from home and able to be very present for the pets in my home! I have plenty of time for walks, playing, giving attention, and down time. I live in a two story townhome with a fenced-in patio and non-fenced yard. Ryder is a calm, curious, and friendly senior dog. He's not one to chase other dogs and doesn't enjoy being chased. He's gotten along with huskies, beagles, and other similar-sized good boys and girls. He's a big couch potato who sleeps most of the day. 🐾 How frequently can you take my dog out? Since we work from home, we're able to take your dog out for potty breaks every 3 to 4 hours, with long walks in between—if your dog's endurance allows it. 🏠 Do you ever leave the dogs home alone? We both try to stay home when sitting a dog. If we need to briefly step out, we give the dogs have their own separate and safe spaces. Ryder will hangout in the bedroom with his sound machine on and the door locked (which he loves), while your dog enjoys free roam of the living room. 💛 Are you able to cater to my dog’s special needs? Dogs in this house are allowed on the furniture, and I sleep with them. I only pet-sit one dog at a time. I can literally give you 10+ references, because my friends tell me that they want to be reincarnated as my dog after they die.
