“After a hectic election season, my family and I were eager for a much-needed vacation. We wanted to ensure our beloved dog, Oakley, was well cared for, so we searched for a sitter with outstanding reviews. We couldn't have made a better choice than Teresa! She was prompt in her responses, incredibly kind, and it was clear she genuinely loves dogs. I met Teresa the day before our departure, and she was conveniently waiting on the porch to greet us and take Oakley. Our brief conversation reassured me that he would be in great hands. For the next 10 days while we explored Europe, Teresa took wonderful care of Oakley and sent us photos whenever she could. One of the highlights was a charming photo of Oakley in front of her Christmas tree on Thanksgiving. I also loved the snapshot of him enjoying board games with her family! When we picked Oakley up, he was just as we left him—happy and relaxed, with a big smile on his face. Teresa hadn't bathed him, but her home had such a lovely scent that Oakley's fur seemed to soak it all in. Since returning home, we've noticed that he is still adjusting and seems to miss Teresa and her family quite a bit. We will definitely book with her again in the future. She is truly wonderful!”

She kept in close contact to keep me updated, and the cats were happy and healthy when I returned.”

About: I have had much experience with pets my whole life. Growing up I always had pets in the house. If there is anything wrong with the pet I will gladly be able to take them to the vet. I have volunteered at animal shelters to help get dogs adopted. Dogs bring me so much joy and are fun to be around. Even when I am a little stressed with homework. I love animals so much. It gives me such joy playing both inside and outside with dogs. I hope that by throwing the ball and playing fetch with each and every dog I will grow to love dogs even more. About: Hello! I graduated from NC State and currently work in technology so I'm frequently working from home and can be there for your bff. I've been taking care of dogs (and cats) for 10+ years and 10/10 humans rate me as a good sitter. About: I have grown up with dogs in the house (6) since I was a child! I have had 2 small dogs (a Pomeranian and a Shorkie) for 8 years and they get tired of each other so they love making new dog friends! I work from home so have the ability to be around your dog(s) 24/7! I work from home Monday - Friday and not mandatory to go into the office though I do love to go on Tuesdays but can miss it if you need your dog watched! I have 2 very friendly dogs to keep your dog(s) company and entertained! I don’t have a fenced in back yard yet but I have the capability to take them on walks and have a large townhome where they have space to roam and I can even crate your dog if you’d like but I let mine on the couch and sleep in bed with me!

We have had cats live until close to 20 so I am comfortable with older animals and administering medications. I have also fostered cats in the past, so I have a lot of love and attention to give to your fur baby. My schedule is flexible. I work from home so I am happy to provide doggy day care during the work day as well as drop-in visits or daily walks. The pets I sit for are always well loved and cared for. About: I have had dogs, cats and other small animals most of my life. I take care of my friends and family pets for extended amounts of time. I am able to give oral medication, injections and lots of belly rubs! I have fostered many dogs and that is how I adopted my most recent dog Lucy. 🐶 I am spending much of my time home. Your pup will get lots of love and attention from me and my girl Lucy throughout the day. I do not have a fenced yard. I live in the woods next to a nature preserve, so there are no other dogs nearby to chase. I NEVER take a dog off leash in my yard!!! I have a very large deck with railings that will prevent a dog from escaping. If the weather is nice, the dogs will sometimes hang out on the deck. There is a large area in the basement to play fetch and horseplay. My dog is crate trained and will stay in her crate when I leave the home. I prefer to have all dogs in a crate when I am not home to prevent an accidental peeing or pooping accident. The dogs typically sleep on the floor on a dog bed in my bedroom at night or in a crate, if that is what you prefer.

About: I’ve helped take care of my family dogs for many years. We’ve had dogs my whole life, and currently I’m helping care for our six month old puppy. So, I’ve had experience walking dogs, playing, feeding, taking out for potty breaks, naps, and many more. I’m currently on summer break, so I have plenty of free time to care for your pets! I’m happy to come anytime after 8:00am, and before 10:00 pm. I prefer not to work too late or overnight because I’m just not comfortable with it or driving when it’s really dark. I can’t care for dogs in my home because we currently have a puppy who is only sometimes ok with other dogs, and I live with my parents who won’t want other dogs around. But I’m happy to come over and care for them at your home. I’m comfortable with taking them out in the yard or walking them. And I can also crate them if need be. “I just picked Delilah up last night from an almost 10 day stay with Julie. This is only Delilah's second time ever staying with a stranger, and she came home in a great mood and seems to enjoy her stay with Julie which was a relief to my husband and I. While Delilah is an easy dog, she is a retired service dog and isn't used to staying with other people so the fact that she enjoyed her stay and came home happy meant the world to us.
