Your Dog’s New Favorite Vacation!
Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I have almost always had a dog in my home, and was responsible for feeding, bathing, walking, and loving on my animals. I’m an active volunteer at the Wake County Animal Center, where I routinely walk dogs of all backgrounds and sizes. I do have a black lab at home who is a big sweetheart and is great with other animals.

Josie was great! We needed a dog-sitter last minute, and Juniper loved staying at their house for the day. Their dog was very friendly and got along great with Juniper. We will definitely look to rebook whenever we need to take Juniper to a doggy daycare!

Schedule
I just quit my full time job to pursue a startup business that will occupy a lot of my hours but will be fully at home. I have a dog at home who I walk 2-5 miles each day in between meetings to refresh myself and give her stimulation and fun!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard with lots of great smells, as we are surrounded by trees. We have a black lab named Dixie who is always excited to show her new friends her backyard toys. I also am a big walker and enjoy taking dogs walking in my neighborhood for a mile or two at a time. I do not walk multiple dogs together, as I want to give each dog what they need from their outside time. We are very social people and routinely have friends come by the house. My dog loves extra love but we are happy to accommodate the needs of your fur baby while they are with us!

A typical day
I enjoy getting the day started pretty early, while my husband and my dog, Dixie, enjoy sleeping in together until mid-morning. Your dog has the luxury of getting a jump on the day with me or enjoying a quiet morning of snoozes until they are ready to wake up. We are outside people and big walkers, so I tend to get 2-3 dog walks in each day. If walking isn't in the cards for the day, we play a lot of inside games and fetch in the backyard. I tend to wrap up my days on the earlier side while my husband is a night owl, so again, best of both worlds to accommodate whatever makes your furry friend most comfortable.
