I started my own pet sitting business at 10 years old called Peak City Paws. I've also owned a family dog since 12 years old. My animal experience includes animal husbandry at the Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh, wildlife education at Piedmont Wildlife Center, wildlife rehabilitation at the NC Zoo, animal husbandry at the AniMall shelter, horseback riding, and husbandry at Carolina Tiger Rescue. I graduated from NC State with a Zoology degree in May 2025. I love ALL animals large and small, and want to be surrounded by dogs & cats at all times :)

Ava and Luke are amazing!! They were so wonderful with our Huddy and were always so proactive and communicative with us about his stay and shenanigans. Huddy can be reactive when he sees other dogs, but Ava and Luke handled him perfectly. They were also so prompt to address and handle any concerns that arose. Huddy really enjoyed his time and loved cozying up with them! This is our first time on Rover, and we are so grateful to have had the chance to book with Ava and Luke. I cannot recommend them enough! 5 stars across the board!

Sadie had the best time with Ava and Luke. This was her first time with a sitter. It couldn't have gone better. There was so much play and activity, they almost wore her out. It’s hard to do with a vizsla puppy. Ava sent pictures and videos during the visit so I got to see the fun Sadie was having. I was extremely happy with the whole experience. It’s a relief to know I’ve got someone I can call to watch Sadie and know she’ll be well taken care of. We will definitely be repeat customers.
Ava was great with taking care of our Asher!! She sent us pictures and updates throughout his stay with her! He was spoiled with lots of snuggles, love, and long walks! I’m sure Asher had the best time while we were away and j would highly recommend Ava! Thanks so much for taking care of our boy!
Ava and Winbon helped us last minute with our two dogs. We have a regular sitter who was unavailable and were very nervous to leave the dogs with anyone else due to a previous bad experience for one of our dogs. Ava and Winbon were more than willing to help and made us all feel welcome. They even offered my husband and I water or something to drink when we dropped the girls off. They sent multiple pictures during the stay and took the dogs for a walk around the lake. We would gladly use them again and so thankful for their help!!
Ava is amazing! Our sweet old dog loves having Ava pet sit. She is very responsible, kind, and patient. She is also quick to respond to my questions and requests. Ava is the BEST!

My husband and I both work full time. He can take your dog out before he leaves at 8am and I can take them out when I come home at 3pm. I take daily walks and runs around the lake behind my apartment each afternoon. I sometimes go out in the evenings, but my husband is often home. At least one of us will be home every night to take your dog out periodically and play with them.

I have a 2.2 mile loop around Lake Lynn right behind the apartment that I can walk your dog around. We have a grassy area out front for bathroom breaks. Dogs are allowed on our furniture, which will be covered with a large blanket. Our floor is carpeted and we have a loft apartment with an upstairs and downstairs. We also have a fenced in balcony.
A typical day
I love to take pets around the lake and to the local dog park at our apartment complex. We live in a nature-centered area that is great for walking and experiencing the lake. I also love to play with dogs and cats, and cuddling while watching a movie is always the best.
