Loving, Active Dog-Care Duo
We’re an active, dog-loving couple who miss having a furry friend around - so we put all that energy into the pups we host. We raised a golden retriever for over 12 years, through eight different homes, which taught us how to stay flexible and make any space feel like home for a dog. We’ve also cared for the fur-babies of our friends and family over the years, so medium and large breeds are totally our comfort zone. Carleigh works from home every day, and John is home four days a week, meaning your dog gets tons of attention, playtime, and company. We’re not ready for a new pup of our own yet, but we love having short-term four-legged guests to spoil.

John and Carleigh are Frito approved - aka fantastic! They took the time to thoroughly read our care notes before our meet & greet and were prepared with thoughtful questions, which immediately gave us confidence that Frito would be in great hands. Throughout her stay, they sent proactive updates that we really appreciated. They were also incredibly understanding and accommodating of Frito's new quirky bedtime routine and her post-breakfast Greenie expectations. Communication was excellent – they were responsive, flexible with our drop-off and pickup times, and made the entire experience easy and stress-free. We would absolutely have Frito stay with John and Carleigh again in the future without any hesitations.
John and Carleigh were wonderful! Reiner was immediately comfortable with them and their home, they sent plenty of updates, and Reiner had a ton of fun with them. We will definitely be reaching out again the next time we’re out of town!
John and Carleigh are kind and responsible pet caregivers! I would recommend them to anyone who needs someone local to watch their pets or just pop by to give them some attention or a walk.
John is absolutely incredible! My dog, Stella instantly adored him. It is so heartwarming and comforting to know my fur baby was showered with love and attention while I was away. He sent regular updates and photos that totally made my day! John is a true animal lover and I cannot recommend him enough. We will absolutely be using him again!

Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because one of us is almost always home, so your dog will get tons of attention, supervision, and company throughout each day. We love taking breaks to go on walks, play outside, or just hang out with a furry friend while we work. Since we’re already active and outside often, adding a dog to our routine is fun and effortless.

We’re big on communication - you’ll get updates, photos, and messages so you always know how your pup is doing. Whether it’s play time, relaxing, or sticking to their normal schedule, we make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they arrive.
