“Great sitter and very flexible to work with which was the perfect fit for my sensitive, anxious dog. Madilyn was excellent at building a friendship with Minnie, but not overwhelming her. Will be continuing to book with her!”

“Olivia did an awesome job house sitting for Bear. I’m worry so much about leaving him. I could tell he was well care for by the photos and updates she sent a few times a day. Thanks Olivia!”

“Abby is always very commutative with us, giving daily updates & pictures. She is extremely dependable, lets our dogs outside often. One of our dogs was stung by a bee and she immediately reached out to our vet & us about it which we appreciated. We love that when we return home we can always tell that our dogs were well taken care of. We highly recommend Abby.”

“Jessica was great! She is a great communicator. She always let us know when she was going to arrive to take care of cat. She also let us know when our cat wasn’t eating. She was super caring!”

“Loren took amazing care of my two cats while I was away. She followed their care instructions thoroughly and she truly allowed me to enjoy my vacation without worrying if the cats were well taken care of. I really appreciated her communication and truly loved all of the picture updates she sent me each day. Loren was overall wonderful and I would 100% request her help in the future.”

About: Growing up, my family was big into Labrador Retrievers and similar. That cemented my love for dogs that desire a good walk, fetch, or wrestle. And I'll never turn down a snuggle. Thus far, I've opted to not own pets in my adulthood for lifestyle flexible. But I never turn down an opportunity to dote on or watch my family and friend's furry ones. Most of my experience is with dogs (anything from a toy poodle to pit bulls) but there's been the occasional feline. And I've tended to quite the spectrum of traits: young to old, docile to headstrong, easy going to special needs (e.g. anxiety, diet restrictions, oral medication). I've recently stepped away from the corporate workforce in order to pursue more quality time with family, friends, and hopefully four-legged creatures! So if I'm not traveling, my daily availability is generally wide open. Will acquiesce any reasonable accommodations needed for both you and your pet(s) to feel at ease and safe. Communication is key too. Both in terms of setting care expectations upfront as well as keeping you aware of any material events.

About: I’ve always loved being around animals, and we had many different types of pets when I was growing up. I would sometimes also visit shelters to walk/spend time with the animals there. When I went to college I decided to adopt my very first kitten Salem and he’s been growing and thriving alongside me ever since. After a difficult breakup, Salem and I moved in with some friends of mine who are very regular Rover walkers and boarders. I learned a lot from my experiences with them in handling and caring for different types of animals while also creating relationships with pet parents. After moving out, I now do a lot of my work from home so my availability is fairly open and flexible. I enjoy being in nature, taking long walks, and furry snuggles so if you’re looking for a friendly face to take care of your furry friend, I just might be your girl! I currently do most of my work from home so I am available most days. I do have reoccurring meetings from 10am-12pm on Mondays and Wednesdays but am available before and after. As of right now I do work a serving job that ranges from 1-3 days (Friday-Sunday evenings) however I am looking to supplement the money I’m making there with Rover so my calendar can be more open. I am open to helping you keep your pets routine as normal as possible through your advice and instruction. I am able to put them in crates if needed, feed, and water, offer playtime, take nice walks, and of course pick up after them with provided materials.
“Beverly was incredible! She showed up promptly and started caring for and playing with our 2 dogs and 3 cats immediately. She sent lots of updates and pictures the entire time and left our home cleaner than she found it! 10/10 recommend.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hannah. She stayed at our home and watched our 2 year old rescue, a Japanese Chin/Terrier mix, while we were out of the country for a week.. She was thoughtful with sending updates and pictures, as well as responded to my texts in a timely manner. I am almost certain our Niko got longer, better walks than we give him on the daily. I felt extremely comfortable and at ease knowing Hannah was caring for our boy. Also our home may have even been left cleaner than when we left for our trip. I highly recommend her services!”

“A++++! Perfect house and dog sitter for a long weekend. Great communicator! We always knew how things were going while we were out of the country. Went above and beyond to get comfortable with our dog and make our dog comfortable.”

About: I have taken care of all kinds of pets for over 7 years, ensuring your furry friend is treated as family while you are away. I love to send photos to give a sneak peak into all the fun! I am open to caring for cats and dogs at any point in the day from early morning walks to late night feeds. If there are other schedules that fit better than what is posted, feel free to message me to work something out! I have experience in house sitting over holidays and long weekends!! I love working with and caring for pets as if they were my own. I prefer to keep your animal comfortable in their own setting.

“Tania is absolutely amazing. She is my main Dogsitter now with both the attention and care to my dogs and my home she gave on my recent trip. No question she loves dogs as your dogs tell the story and they told me they were well cared for and loved with how stress free they were upon my return. Without question I will be using her again and again. I wish I could give her more stars as she deserves a perfect 10.”

“Rebecca is the best! She is a stupendous house sitter and our dog loves her. She’s so polite and communicative. We’ve used her several times and would wholeheartedly recommend her! She really goes above and beyond.”

“Eliron was fantastic!! She asked very thoughtful questions during our meet and greet and provided detailed updates (and cute photos) during my trip. She also left my apartment looking even better than I had left it originally which was really nice to come back to after 5 days. She’ll definitely be our go-to sitter for future trips ?”

“Franklin was amazing, my older dog is a "little" shy to say the least and Mr. Franklin was absolutely positively wonderful with him, got him to come out to play, to eat as well as just getting him out of his kennel. As normally he would just be sad and hide the entire time we are gone. Definitely will hope he is available for the next sitting position. Thank you Franklin!! 😇💙🙏🐶🎉🤝”

“Kelsey did an amazing job taking care of my dog Chief. He was so happy to spend time with Kelsey and was very comfortable. Kelsey stayed at my house while I went on a business trip, it was perfect.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Northwest
Jay was hands down the best pet sitter we’ve ever used. Our 100 lb Great Pyrenees, Bo, is a rescue with a lot of trauma, and he had just lost his companion and security blanket, our sweet yellow lab Emmy. He was having a really hard time with it, he wouldn’t eat and would barely go outside. So we were extra nervous about finding a good fit while we were out of town for the week. Within seconds of our meet n’ greet, Jay was on the ground with Bo hugging, kissing, and talking to him. Bo immediately took to him, following him around our house and pressing up against him. Jay asked a bunch of questions about what Bo needed, clearly wanting to take utmost care for him. During his stay, we got lots of pictures, videos, and updates. Bo loves homemade “pupcups”, and Jay was so sweet about treating him each day with his little puppaccino. He even took the time to brush and comb him! We felt so at ease knowing Jay was there with him. Jay is one of the kindest, gentlest animal lovers we have crossed paths with, and we are so grateful for everything he did for our family. Thank you so much, Jay!! 🫶🏼

Anna is so wonderful. She has a perfectly calm energy that was great for my two dogs. She updated us regularly with pictures and took great care of our home while we were away. This was our first time using Rover and Anna exceeded our expectations. She will always be my first choice!

Rachel is absolutely amazing with your pets! She keeps you informed about everything to a great detail so you don’t have to wonder what is happening. You can tell that she enjoys the company of animals and she is super nice with us hoomans, too! 10/10, hope to have her help me out in the filuture. Highly recommend!

Estefany was a wonderful sitter for my cat! I have booked with her for both drop in visits and also house sitting, both were fantastic experiences! Estefany was very communicative and provided me with so many update videos and pictures. You can tell she loves animals and has their wellbeing, happiness and safety as her top priority. I would absolutely recommend Estefany ☺️

Andrew was awesome! Charlie can have a little bit of a hard time with new people but it seemed like they had a great boys weekend! Andrew kept me up to date with pictures and my house looked great when I got back! Charlie also seemed happy and relaxed which is huge!!

Kiah did an amazing job with my Pitt and being a first time user of the app. She helped explain little features so I didn’t mess up the booking and ensured my dogs safety and fun. Definitely a great face to keep around. She’s attentive and never misses a dull moment. Thank you for all you do KIAH.

Blessed in an understatement to how we feel since we’ve found Falesha. We started working with her for drop-ins and have now began hosting her for house-sitting with our temperamental chihuahua terrier rescue. She is patient, kind, and so very trustworthy. I would eagerly recommend her to anyone.
