Hi! My name is Emily, and animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. For the past year, I worked at a busy doggy daycare where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments. Working in a fast paced environment taught me how to safely handle multiple dogs at once, recognize body language, manage high energy situations, and keep pets comfortable and secure. Growing up, my family regularly adopted and fostered senior dogs and dogs with behavioral challenges that other people often overlooked. Because of this, I’ve spent my entire life caring for a wide variety of personalities from shy and anxious dogs to high energy playful dogs. I understand that every dog is different and deserves individualized care, patience, and attention. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their routine, I’m committed to making them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Emily has cared for my four dogs on many occasions, and I trust her completely with their care. Each of my dogs has a different personality and different needs, including detailed feeding instructions, a large dog who tends to jump, and a very small dog who will run if given the opportunity. I never worry when Emily is watching them because she is attentive, responsible, and takes their safety seriously. What sets Emily apart is that she goes beyond the basics. She doesn’t just refill water bowls, she washes them first. She spends quality time with the animals rather than simply checking tasks off a list. She easily manages complicated care instructions and pays attention to the little details. Emily genuinely loves animals, and it shows in everything she does. I would confidently recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate pet caregiver.

Schedule
I am currently in online school, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, drop in visits, house sitting, or anything else your pups need! For house sitting, I typically leave for around 4 hours in the evening, but will be with them the rest of the day and night 😊

Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. While I am unable to board pets in my own home, I am happy to care for pets in their home. With my experience working at a doggy daycare and caring for dogs throughout my life, I am confident handling dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and personalities. I pay close attention to body language, routines, and any instructions provided by owners to ensure each pet receives individualized care. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both the pets and the home with respect. I maintain feeding schedules, provide exercise and enrichment, keep living areas clean, monitor for any signs of illness or stress, and provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they're away .

I love doing whatever your pup likes! Whether that is cuddling up watching a movie, going on lots of walks, or playing together all day!
