About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, rodents, and farm animals. Caring for pets has always been a normal part of life for me, both through my own animals and through pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. Over the years I’ve raised my own puppies and kittens, cared for senior pets, and managed medications and special care needs. One of my own dogs (German Shepherd Dog) was diagnosed with cancer at a young age, and I cared for him throughout treatment until he passed away at age four. About: I have two dogs at home. Bodhi who’ve we had for five years and our newest addition Utah, who is less than a year old. I trained Bodhi how to sit, lay down, stay, and shake. I am very comfortable with dogs. I am available Mondays from 9:30am-12pm as well as 4pm-10pm. Wednesdays I am available from 9:30-12pm and depending on the week I can also do 4pm-10pm. She was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond during the hot weather to make sure they were safe, cool, comfortable, on schedule, and well exercised. From thoughtful updates to little things she did to help them feel truly at home in her space, she had everything covered. I was recommending her to people while I was still on my trip — that’s how confident I felt leaving my kids in her hands! What really stood out was the sweetness and calm presence Lori has as a human. It made the transition so much smoother for both pups (and for me). I didn’t worry for a second while I was away.
