About: I have been volunteering to walk dogs for 1 year now at Red Barn Rescue, along with 63 hours of shadowing at two Veterinary Hospitals, and I already have 1 client for paid dog walking weekly! I've always been happy to help family and friends train and care for their pets. I truly believe patience, understanding, and kindness go a long way when it comes to our fur babies. I'd love to know what your preferences of care are, what your pet's preferences of care are, and make sure everyone's expectations are met. I have a fenced yard for free roam play and potty but I would also be happy to walk your pet for exercise and bathroom breaks. You have the option of daytime play with my own two pups that would be more than happy to welcome them into their space or separate one on one play/together time with just me. With boarding you have the option of a metal crate (for the chew crew), a soft crate, or the open guest room to themselves. If you have an anxious pup I would be happy to stay in the room with them. Bedding mattresses, pads, and blankets are all always available to your pet. Making sure your pet has a quiet space to wind down and feel safe is my priority so please don't hesitate to let me know your preferences!

Amanda was a fantastic sitter for our dog that requires bladder expression. I was so fortunate to find Vicki and Michael! .They are timely, conscientious, followed my camel's (just kidding!) watering instructions and, most importantly, were loving towards my fella. They replaced the gate and put feeding items back as found. They even walked him twice on their visit! I think my fella likes Michael more than me! Vicki even chose to stay and visit extra with him while Michael did a nearby errand (How sweet is that?) where upon my pooch fell asleep on her lap! Thanks, you two. I anticipate using them again!
Alicia was our first experience with using a pet sitter, she came at lunch time to let our dog out for a midday break and played ball with her for several months. Our dog is a rescue, but mostly Belgium Malinois mix so high drive and mischievous requiring someone patient yet firm. Alicia is dependable, communicative and we could tell by the daily photos she provided that Peanut loved her visits with her. She was great at correcting and redirecting her bad behaviors (hole digging) - we were so relieved to have such a wonderful caretaker for our pet and would 100% recommend her.
