About: I have 20+ years of experience caring for dogs and cats. I’ve been a lifelong pet owner, so I understand daily routines, behavior, and different personalities. I’m calm, patient, and attentive, and I treat every pet like my own. I also have experience with both active dogs and senior pets, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m available most days of the week, offering flexible and reliable care. I can feed, walk, and play with pets, making sure they get plenty of attention, care, and companionship. I have a large home and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves other dogs and cats. I also offer pet care in your home if needed. I also have a dog crate available

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and reptiles for over three years, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet and their individual personality. I have hands-on experience with dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight care, feeding, playtime, and providing plenty of companionship while owners are away. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets and your home. I’m reliable, patient, attentive, and always happy to follow your pet’s usual routine so they can feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or would rather spend the evening relaxing and getting lots of cuddles, I’m happy to adapt to what makes them happiest. 🐾 My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pets are getting plenty of attention, affection, and care while they’re with me. I’m currently enrolled in a hybrid college program, with in-person classes only two days a week and the rest of my coursework completed online. This gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight stays. I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits your pet’s usual routine, whether you need occasional care while you’re away or more regular walks and drop-in visits. My online coursework also allows me to plan my schedule around my pet care commitments. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I’ll take the time to learn their normal routine, personality, and any specific needs so I can keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible while you’re away. I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, and any other care requirements you provide. I’m also attentive to changes in behavior and will always communicate with you if I notice anything unusual. You can expect regular updates and plenty of photos during visits, walks, and overnight stays, so you’ll always know how your pet is doing. I’ll also treat your home with care and respect and make sure everything is secure when I arrive and leave.
About: Hello! I’ve grown up with dogs almost all of my life. The only time I didn’t have a pet was when I first moved away from home, but I got my wonderful dog, Poppy, as soon as possible. Followed by our gentle Snoopy and now Kevin Bacon the cat. I look forward to making your pet feel loved and cared for however long they need it!! Please feel free to reach out if you have questions! I work remotely from home and have a fairly flexible schedule. I do have a toddler at home but can coordinate care or bring him along when possible. I’m happy to follow your specific instructions for walks or drop in visits. I’ll treat your home like my own and make sure your pets feel as comfortable as possible.
“Erin was nothing short of amazing and simply the best. She got into a good routine with our pup and she loved her like her own. She made momma feel more than at ease leaving her for the first time so we could enjoy some time for her Birthday. Happy to have found our sitter!”

“Tracey was wonderful with our two nervous pups! We definitely felt like we could relax and actually enjoy our vacation knowing our babies were being so well taken care of.”

“Anna was awesome during her check ins with my girls! She accepted us last minute, was always on time, stayed the entire duration, gave lots of loves and made sure they were taken care of. Will absolutely use her again in the future.”

About: I have been volunteering to walk dogs for 1 year now at Red Barn Rescue, along with 63 hours of shadowing at two Veterinary Hospitals, and I already have 1 client for paid dog walking weekly! I am a senior at Fuquay-Varina High School and get out of school at 10:30am, which gives me so much free time to dog walk or pet sit! I play lacrosse which can alter my availability, but it ends in May. I have a huge dream of becoming a veterinarian and I am trying to gain as much experience as I can! I care for pets in all environments and atmosphere by treating them with respect and being cautious of their comfortability. I will always be gentle and mindful with all pets especially when first meeting them. I have such a passion and love for animals and will very much so gently express it.

About: I have owned 8 very happy healthy dogs (of all sizes and personality types), along with five very loving and happy cats. I've always been happy to help family and friends train and care for their pets. I truly believe patience, understanding, and kindness go a long way when it comes to our fur babies. Being away from pets can be hard on you and hard on your pets but building a trusted community is the remedy! I work to accommodate your pet's preferred schedule. I'd love to know what your preferences of care are, what your pet's preferences of care are, and make sure everyone's expectations are met. I have a fenced yard for free roam play and potty but I would also be happy to walk your pet for exercise and bathroom breaks. You have the option of daytime play with my own two pups that would be more than happy to welcome them into their space or separate one on one play/together time with just me. With boarding you have the option of a metal crate (for the chew crew), a soft crate, or the open guest room to themselves. If you have an anxious pup I would be happy to stay in the room with them. Bedding mattresses, pads, and blankets are all always available to your pet. Making sure your pet has a quiet space to wind down and feel safe is my priority so please don't hesitate to let me know your preferences!
About: I have had dogs my entire life, and always find myself drawn to them. As a young woman searching for my purpose, I want to spend my time doing what fulfills me. I have been pet sitting for my friend who has a dog aggressive dog, and enjoy spending the quality time with her. I will always give exceptional care and focus on forming lasting friendships with the animals in my care. Friendships that last longer than a meet and greet or drop-in visit. I am always looking out for the pet and putting their needs first. I pay attention to animal behavior and never push past their limit, to ensure a good relationship is being built. My primary goal is to make sure the client and pet are comfortable. I currently am not in school or employed as I recently moved to the area. I have lots of time on my hands to spend with your baby. I will always put the pet's needs first, and ensure I keep their schedule the same as my client does for them. I care for the animal and the home and keep it just as I found it.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fuquay-Varina
We had a wonderful experience! They stopped by to care for our pets during dinner, took Rodger on a nice walk, and gave our kitties plenty of love and snuggles. It was clear they genuinely cared about our animals and made sure everyone was happy, comfortable, and well cared for while we were away. Knowing our pets were in such caring hands gave us so much peace of mind. We would absolutely recommend them and will definitely be booking with them again!

Amanda was a fantastic sitter for our dog that requires bladder expression. This was the first time we’ve been away from the dogs and used a sitter, we were very nervous but the experience could not have better for us or the dogs. Amanda’s attention to detail, veterinary background, and clear and frequent communication put us at ease the entire time we were away from the pups!

Jennifer was amazing and such a huge help for us during a really unpredictable time while we were waiting for the arrival of our son. She was kind enough to stay on standby for drop-in visits with our dog, and the day we got admitted to the hospital she was incredibly easy to get ahold of, accommodating, and flexible. She sent us tons of updates and pictures which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was very clear our dog felt comfortable and happy with her, and that meant everything to us. We’re so grateful for her help and will absolutely be using her again in the future!

I was so fortunate to find Vicki and Michael! .They are timely, conscientious, followed my camel's (just kidding!) watering instructions and, most importantly, were loving towards my fella. They replaced the gate and put feeding items back as found. They even walked him twice on their visit! I think my fella likes Michael more than me! Vicki even chose to stay and visit extra with him while Michael did a nearby errand (How sweet is that?) where upon my pooch fell asleep on her lap! Thanks, you two. I anticipate using them again!
Alicia was our first experience with using a pet sitter, she came at lunch time to let our dog out for a midday break and played ball with her for several months. Our dog is a rescue, but mostly Belgium Malinois mix so high drive and mischievous requiring someone patient yet firm. Alicia is dependable, communicative and we could tell by the daily photos she provided that Peanut loved her visits with her. She was great at correcting and redirecting her bad behaviors (hole digging) - we were so relieved to have such a wonderful caretaker for our pet and would 100% recommend her.

An amazing job! I needed a last minute drop in due to last min holiday plans and they went above and beyond! Not only did they give food/water but also played and interacted with them. I could tell my fur babies had a great time, and I really appreciate all the help!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
