About: I have been a huge animal lover since I was a kid. I volunteered at the local animal shelter in my college town for over a year, so I have experience with a variety of different dog breeds across a variety of different ages. As a volunteer, I was responsible for walking and socializing the dogs. I also took dogs out of the shelter for a day to get them experience in public. My family also have had dogs for my entire life, so I have experience with taking care of dogs at all ages. I live a very active lifestyle that allows me to take dogs out for the exercise that they need. I also like to follow specific schedules which helps avoid uncertainty in animal schedules. I care for pets in my home and others home in the way that the owner expects. It is important to keep training and care consistent for a pet so it avoids confusion for the pet. It is also important to understand the breed of the animal as every breed has different needs.

I currently have a 7-year-old Pyrenees mix who keeps me on my toes and has taught me so much about the unique needs of large breeds. About: I was a caregiver for retired sight guide dog, ailing dog, and old dogs. I am also an avid walker / hiker. I teach them sign languages too. About: I’ve been taking care of animals for almost 10 years. I have both fostered and owned animals as well as watched other animals. I have owned my dog since she was a puppy, so I have experience with younger dogs. I have helped family friends with their older dogs who need help moving around and cannot stay home alone. I am available for in home pet sitting a week, however I do have classes full time so my ability to check in during the day may be dependent on the distance between your home and my school. During my previous time pet sitting I have stayed at the owner’s home as well as done 2-3 times a day check ins. When doing these I play by house rules. Crating a dog is not a problem as that is what I do with my own. I have pet sat for people who do and do not crate their animals.
