About: I’ve been taking care of animals for around 30 years. I have both fostered and owned animals as well as watched other. I have owned my dog since she was a puppy, so I have experience with younger dogs. I have helped family friends with their older dogs who need help moving around and cannot stay home alone. I have also long term fostered a special needs dog. I am an empty nester and when my children moved out they took their pets. I’ll be able to devote my time and attention to your pets as you need me to. During my previous time pet sitting I have stayed at the owner’s home as well as done 2-3 times a day check ins. When doing these I play by house rules. Crating a dog is not a problem as that is what I do with my own. I have pet sat for people who do and do not crate their animals.

Since our original walk-through, my entire setup had changed, and I completely forgot to update her on several important details—including the special food that one of my dogs requires. About: Responsible and experienced. I love dogs and want to spend every hour of my day with dogs. 😁 Apart from spoiling them and playing with them, I also groom them and train them. I am retired so time is flexible. I will take them out on walks at least twice a day. I can care for dogs with special needs such as medications or special diets. I will follow owner’s instructions. Amanda was a fantastic sitter for our dog that requires bladder expression. This was the first time we’ve been away from the dogs and used a sitter, we were very nervous but the experience could not have better for us or the dogs.
