About: I've had German Shepherds, cats, and horses all my life. I fostered shy, scared cats from a shelter in Prague and got them all adopted, except my foster fail, Pepsi. I know how to coax out a hider and spot when a pet isn't feeling well. I've walked and dogsat large breeds, like huskies, staffies, labs, goldens, shepherds, collies, etc., and I'm comfortable with harnesses, muzzles, and waist leashes. I've given meds to many sick and senior animals (dogs and cats), using pill injectors and pill pockets. I can also do puppy basics like potty schedules and crate routines, if we keep a consistent schedule. I've volunteered at shelters since 2006, competed and been on training staff at horse competitions, farm sat, volunteered with therapeutic horse riding programs, and worked as a horse camp counselor. Taking care of animals has always been a big priority in my life :) My schedule is flexible, so I can fit visits around your day. Drop-ins are my specialty, and I'm available mornings, afternoons, and evenings most days. Overnights can be arranged if you need them. I also have family nearby who help with childcare, so last-minute requests are often doable if communication is clear. I reply fast and will always tell you early if something changes. At my home, my backyard is fully fenced appropriately for all sizes of dogs. Larger dogs get leashed walks (quiet neighborhood with no other dogs off leash) and supervised play. I have two friendly, dog- and cat-social German Shepherds and a cat, so we will have to arrange a meet and greet first. At your home, I'll follow your routines, keep doors and gates secured, and send regular photo updates.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child and have always been responsible for walking, feeding, bathing, etc. I have also watched dogs here and there and absolutely enjoy it. I’d love to be a safe and trustworthy option to take care of your baby! I am employed full time but my hours switch from morning and night so as long as I have a days heads up, I can let you know asap whether I’ll be able to or not. I have two dogs at home that are very sweet, but I have a senior dog who can get a little grumpy- I don’t think having another dog in the house would be a good option if it was overnight.
