PLEASE READ BEFORE REQUESTING A BOOKING (it’s short, I promise 😄) *I do have private pet/house sit insurance as well.* I’ve basically run an informal zoo my entire life: cats, dogs, bunnies, fish, horses… if it eats, sheds, hops, or gives side-eye, I’ve probably taken care of it. I’ve raised tiny chaos potatoes (puppies and kittens), traveled with animals like a very underpaid safari guide, and even worked as a veterinary technician in both small and large animal clinics across the country. So yes, if it’s weird, wiggly, or slightly dramatic, I’m your girl. These days, I also come with a tiny human sidekick (my daughter). She’s been raised around animals and considers herself working management. She accompanies me on overnights, so your pets must be kid-approved (she gives great belly rubs, games of fetch, and 10/10 snack supervision). Oftentimes we also bring along my mini Aussie, part service dog, part social butterfly, part couch potato. She has yet to meet an animal she doesn’t get along with. 🐾 Quick logistics so we’re all on the same page: • Drop-ins = I can come solo (mini Aussie and/or my daughter stays home holding down the fort) • Overnights = you may get the full cast of characters If you book one and then realise the other makes more sense, I’ll happily suggest adjusting your booking, because I like doing right by people (and saving you money when I can). And finally, your home will be treated with care, respect, and possibly a light glow-up. Think: pet care… but you also come home to “wait, did someone clean while I was gone??” energy. ✨ If your pets are cool with a tiny entourage and a lot of love, we’re going to get along just fine.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m extremely attentive to the needs of every pet in my care: think part bodyguard, part nurse, part detective, and part overly enthusiastic cheerleader who gets way too excited when everyone eats their dinner. I notice the little things: changes in appetite, energy, behavior, bathroom habits, body language, or mood. If something feels even slightly “off,” I’m already paying attention. Pets can’t exactly text us “hey, just FYI, my stomach feels weird today,” so somebody has to be the designated over thinker, and I volunteer as tribute. I keep a close eye out for injuries and signs of stress or illness, and I take sudden changes seriously. My previous veterinary experience definitely comes in handy here, because I’m pretty comfortable with the unglamorous side of animal care: checking questionable bumps, monitoring poop, administering medications, and having conversations like, “Okay buddy, I really need you to let me look at whatever you’re hiding under there.” I also know animals usually have a reason for acting differently… even if sometimes that reason is “a leaf moved suspiciously,” “the food bowl is only 87% full,” or “someone had the audacity to close a door in my own home.” Looking at you, cats. 🐾 Bottom line: your pet won’t just be watched. They’ll be genuinely looked after, understood, loved, and cared for like one of my own; with plenty of attention, affection, and probably several completely one-sided conversations throughout the day. And yes, I will celebrate a successful poop like we just won an Olympic medal if the situation calls for it. 😂

Schedule
During the week, I mostly work as a nanny, which means my days are filled with snack negotiations, creative storytelling, missing shoes that were literally just on your feet, and the occasional “how did you even get that up there?” mystery. There’s usually glitter involved. Sometimes something is sticky. Nobody knows why. I’ve stopped asking questions. My schedule is actually pretty pet-sitting friendly! I’m off every weekend, and I typically have 1–2 weeks off around major holidays, making those especially great times for bookings. I’m also flexible during the week and absolutely open to weekday overnights and drop-ins. Between nannying, parenting, and pet sitting, I’ve become exceptionally good at calendar Tetris. 😄 When I’m not wrangling tiny humans, I genuinely love spending time with animals of all shapes and sizes. Honestly, there’s a lot of overlap between nannying and pet sitting: keep everyone fed, prevent questionable life choices, provide enrichment, clean up mysterious messes, and occasionally ask, “WHAT is in your mouth?!” The biggest difference? Pets are usually better listeners, significantly less sticky, and rarely launch a full-scale legal appeal when I announce it’s bedtime. 🐾 So whether your household contains tiny dogs, 90-pound lap dogs, cats who pay the mortgage and therefore make the rules, or some combination of the above, chaos management is kind of my specialty. 😄

- I’d love a mini “pet résumé” ahead of time so I can come prepared and keep everyone safe, happy, and ideally out of HR. 😄 Please be open and honest about anything I might encounter: chronic conditions, medications, allergies, anxiety, resource guarding, escape-artist tendencies, quirks, questionable hobbies, criminal history, or the occasional “he’s an absolute angel… except when he sees another dog and briefly becomes a WWE wrestler.” Trust me; I can handle a LOT. Weird doesn’t scare me. Complicated doesn’t scare me. A medication schedule requiring a spreadsheet, three pill pockets, and a minor act of deception? We’ll figure it out. I just need to know what I’m walking into so I can plan accordingly. And please don’t worry that telling me your dog occasionally eats socks, your cat chooses violence at 3 a.m., or your rabbit has a personal vendetta against men wearing hats will automatically make me say no. Information is my friend. Surprises are not. 😂 This is especially important because my daughter often accompanies me. She’s wonderful with animals and has been around them her entire life, but she also deserves the full scouting report. If Fluffy has a “do NOT touch my left ear after 7 p.m.” clause, that is information we would very much like before Fluffy and I enter contract negotiations. Basically: spoilers are encouraged. No surprise plot twists, please. 😄 And finally, if your home contains any bonus characters who didn’t make it onto the original booking: mystery hamsters, surprise chickens, undercover guinea pigs, a bearded dragon named Kevin, twelve fish with individually prepared meals, or a lizard who will only dine facing east at sunrise, just let me know ahead of time. 🐓🦎🐹 I’m usually more than happy to care for the extended cast! They just need to be included in the booking and may come with a small additional fee depending on their care needs. Think of it like an Airbnb: I’m delighted to accommodate additional guests, I just need to know Kevin the bearded dragon is staying before check-in. 😉 The more I know beforehand, the better I can make sure everyone (furry, feathered, scaled, tiny-human, or otherwise) has a safe and happy stay. 🐾
