“Taylor is amazing! Thank you again for our second booking. She’s everything you want in a sitter. She was perfect with updates and photos. We came home to a clean house and a happy pup. Thank you Taylor!”

“Mattea was wonderful with our dogs! Both of them can be quite anxious, but they warmed up to her so quickly. She clearly loves animals and spent plenty of quality time with them. We loved getting photo updates every day, which made us feel so happy knowing they were in such good hands. Mattea was a great communicator, left the house spotless, and we would absolutely book her again!”

“Dawn was incredible! We came home to two very happy, healthy, and well loved pups. I was unavailable to contact sometimes due to our trip and she was still very diligent in sending photos, videos, and updates! My larger pup has had some health scares and Dawn was very detailed in her notes and was willing to take her to the vet immediately upon a small change in behavior but waited for my input ☺️. I will definitely be reaching out to Dawn in the future for any of our needs. I’ve never felt so confident and comfortable in the care our dogs received. We got our honeymoon and our dogs got almost two weeks of spoiling! Not to mention that this was a last minute booking due to our other sitter canceling with less than a weeks notice for a 12 day trip!!”

“Rissa was great with our pup Charlie. He is normally shy but warmed up quickly to her! She has excellent communication skills and so the updates were spot on. It really made us comfortable while we were away knowing Charlie was being well cared for by Rissa with snuggles, nice walks, and playtime. 😊 We would definitely have her again and recommend her care.”

“Donald took great care of Beau and Gracie. He followed all of our instructions and made everything really easy on our end. Both pups seemed to be happy, relaxed, and clearly well looked after when we got home. We really appreciated the help and would book with him again.”

About: I’ve worked in a dog daycare/boarding place for a year. I played, fed, bathed, and walked dogs. I worked with all kinds of dogs, big and small. I have a furbaby of my own that I take care of and walk and feed. I have had animals my whole life and haven’t gone even a month without one so I know a thing or two about tiring them out and taking care of them. I take care of my dog everyday and usually have a routine. Walk, feed, rest, play, walk, feed, rest. I usually go by how my dog is feeling and how she wants to go about her day. But I will always go by the clients wishes of what they want me to do for their dog.
“Rachel is our go-to sitter when we have to leave town without our pups. It’s great to know our dogs are getting lots of love and cuddles when we’re away. Rachel is dependable, fantastic at communicating with us throughout her stay, and makes sure our home is tidy when we return.”

“Jalanie was great for my house sitting request. I had a different Rover fall through literally a day before I was suppose to leave and she was able to do a meet and greet and then did a great job doing the house sitting. Will 100% be my first call next time I need a pet sitter.”

“Kaitlyn did a wonderful job house sitting and looking after our 3 animals while we were away for a week!! She provided daily updates and the best photos of all the pets. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Jordan did an excellent job taking care of our pets, and our home! He sent lots of pictures and updates along the way, and we felt at ease the whole time. Highly recommend booking Jordan!”

“Megan did a wonderful job watching our 7 month old puppy! We were nervous as it was our first time leaving our pup, but Megan made us feel very comfortable and reassured! She kept us updated and made sure our pup was well loved and taken care of!”

“Julie was absolutely wonderful while house‑sitting for us and caring for our two dogs and two cats. She was attentive, reliable, and clearly treated our pets with the same love and patience she would her own. We came home to happy animals and a tidy house, which made the whole experience stress‑free. I’d happily recommend Julie to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”

“Hailey was punctual and professional with our dog. She responded very quickly when we had a question before, during, and after our booking. We would be happy to have her care for our dog again.”

“Natallia was great with Duck! She was very communicative and made sure both Duck and I were comfortable when I had to leave! I will definitely work with Natallia in the future and highly recommend her!”

“Kelli was amazing! She was available last minute to watch our 2 high-maintenance shibas for 2 weeks while we were away. She sent us updates and pictures, and they were obviously very well-loved while with her. Kelli will absolutely be our first choice for future pet sitting!”

Hailey communicated so well, took great care of our home, and made us feel comfortable that Macey was in good hands. Macey even got into some treats she shouldn’t have (no fault of Hailey), and Hailey was super transparent making sure we knew everything that went down.

I’m a repeat client for good reason. Mattea is a fantastic dog sitter, and my pup loves her. I get regular updates and photos while I’m traveling. I never have to wonder how things are going and always come home to a tidy home. If I could leave a review with more than 5⭐️, I would!!

Lesley took great care of Egan and Prunella once again! Our dogs were so excited to see her even though it had been several months - a testament to how kind she must have been to then during their last time together. We are thankful that we can rely on Lesley to ensure our pups are happy and comfortable!

After meeting Kasey for the meet & greet we knew it would be a great fit. He’s personable and has a calm spirit about him that Jagger was drawn to. While staying with our dog for 10 days we received photos and updates daily. Kasey’s attention to Jagger made us feel at ease being away. We asked of a few small household requests while we were away and Kasey was happy to help. He followed our care directions for our dog perfectly and we returned to a tidy home just as we left it. We will surely ask Kasey to be with Jagger the next times we need a sitter.

The sitter we had lined up ended up having to cancel last minute due a family emergency. We were very fortunate to find Lynnwood. She was great at communicating and we were able to meet her and hire her within a few days. Our dogs LOVED her. My female can be particular when meeting new people and she ran right to her . This was our first time using Rover and having an in home sitter. Lynnwood was great at keeping in touch and sending pictures. It definitely helped my momma heart rest easy knowing someone was taking good care of our babies . She left our home nice and clean and was very respectful. We will definitely be using her in the future.

Reece did so awesome in her stay with Charli. Reece met her for the first time without us even there and it went super well. Also provided us with many updates throughout the weekend even though we had terrible reception. We’re so thankful Reece was able to sit for us!

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 2,948 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Williams Crossroads. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Williams Crossroads walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Williams Crossroads maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Williams Crossroads choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
