Large gated back yard, nearly an acre for them to run and play in. Our dog loves to swim in our pool, and yours is welcome to as well. I went to school to major as a veterinarian due to my love animals, and even though life, I find myself forever engulfed by the love of these furry creatures. Even though we don’t have a fenced in yard, we have long leads, a zip line, and a pond in the backyard for the dogs to swim in. We have two high energy dogs of our own, so no worries if you think your dogs need a little extra exercise- we’re used to it! And as far as taking care of any animals goes, my experience ranges from puppies, cats, dogs, fish, to turtles, snakes, goats, horses, sheep, and chickens. I’ve also given plenty of animals plenty of medicine and used to work on a dairy farm. I recently went full time pet sitting! This means I have all the time in the world for your fur babies and full availability for daycare/drop-ins any day of the week! We don’t have a fenced in yard but we have a lovely pond in the backyard to swim in/walk around. We have a zipline for the backyard and long leashes. Our two dogs don’t need to be leashed so we can have our full attention on your dogs on walks/during playtime, or we can easily separate exercise time if needed. Dogs will never be left outside by themselves. I have two hooligans and don’t let them out unsupervised either. Between my boyfriend and I and our two dogs there is a lot of love and playtime for your fur babies. However, there are also two separate rooms and a large crate to let dogs rest in if extra space is needed. While away from the house we never let dogs from other families be out together. And we love to give pets and treats (if allowed)!

Joey is 11 years old and going strong. Until this past April, I also had a miniature poodle that was named Shadow. Shadow and I were best friends for 17 years until he passed from old age. They had plenty of space to roam around and sniff in her fully fenced yard. Kelly has a relaxed demeanor which is very helpful for you and your dog when dropping them off for a trip.I felt confident in her care and would recommend Kelly to anyone.”

“Karen and Vincent are a caring and thoughtful couple that were wonderful pet parents for our sweet pup while we were out of town! He's just over a year old and this was his first time staying away from home, so we were a little nervous how he would react being away from us. We were able to schedule a two day mini-stay before our bigger trip, and our pup quickly became comfortable with them at their home. I really appreciated getting to see the space and the large (and very secure) fenced in yard where he would spend a few weeks. Our pup still has a ton of energy and loves to play, and both Karen and Vincent indulged him and his exercise needs to help wear him out each day! I believe they truly loved on him as if he was their own fur baby. They wanted to know all the details of his regular life / routine, and were communicative and responsive throughout the stay. Thank you so much for your dedication and for making it a stress-free experience for us and our pup!”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, rodents, and farm animals. Caring for pets has always been a normal part of life for me, both through my own animals and through pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. Over the years I’ve raised my own puppies and kittens, cared for senior pets, and managed medications and special care needs. One of my own dogs (German Shepherd Dog) was diagnosed with cancer at a young age, and I cared for him throughout treatment until he passed away at age four. That experience taught me how important consistency, patience, and close attention can be when a pet isn’t feeling their best. I also currently care for my senior dog who requires medication. Today I have a labradoodle that I’ve had since he was a puppy, two cats, and my senior dog. I take pride in training my dogs to be well-behaved and socialized. In addition to dogs and cats, as stated previously, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals including lizards, snakes, chickens, rodents, fish, a sun conure parrot, horses, donkeys, alpacas, and pigs. I know every animal is different, and I do my best to learn their routines, personalities, and quirks so they feel comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet is young and energetic, elderly, shy, or needs a little extra attention, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I am a career biochemical scientist and lost my job in April. I am now having a blast working as a full-time stay at home mom. My 1 year old son also loves pets and would need to occasionally accompany me! I am available pretty much around the clock. I prioritize keeping pets on their normal routine as much as possible. I will follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any household rules you’ve established to the best of my ability. I know that consistency helps pets feel comfortable and reduces stress while their owners are away. In a client’s home, I will make sure pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, walks, potty breaks, fresh water, and companionship. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know how they’re doing. In my own home, pets are treated like part of the family. I maintain a safe, clean environment and supervise interactions carefully. I currently have a friendly labradoodle and two cats, so I’m very accustomed to managing different personalities, energy levels, and care needs.
