About: My wife and I have been been around animals our enter lives, from dogs and cats to horses and goats. Currently we have a 10 year old rescue pup, and have used some of our spare time to volunteer at the local animal shelters. We both work from home, and have a four year old son (who spends much of the day at preschool), but when he's home loves spending time with the dogs and helping out. Large gated back yard, nearly an acre for them to run and play in. Our dog loves to swim in our pool, and yours is welcome to as well. Inside we have plenty of space for them to relax and be comfortable.

Rudy loved his time at Chantel’s! She sent videos of his playtime and really seemed to love having him. Which is what we all want… someone to take care of our babies like we would like to when we can’t. Rudy can’t wait for his return visit.

My dog, Pickle, had a great time with Alexandria & her two dogs. This was Pickle's first Doggy Day Care with Alexandria & Alexandria was great by checking with me about treats & sending pictures. I knew that Pickle was in good hands! And now, after dinner & evening walk at 5:00, Pickle is fast asleep at 6:00. That's a sign of a good day!

About: I have been a dog guardian for 43 years. I have worked with dogs of various sizes and breeds ranging from 25lb Border Collies, 80lb Golden Retrievers, up to 180lb Great Danes. I am a larger fit person so I am capable of working with larger and energetic dogs. I truly enjoy helping a dog to feel calm, comfortable, and confident in our relationship. I am currently working part time, and have a fairly flexible schedule. Most of my availability is during the day and early evening, but I am flexible to schedule other hours for repeat customers. I understand that pets are family. Whether I'm walking your dog or caring for them while you're away, my goal is to provide dependable, attentive care and give you peace of mind. I'll treat your pet with the same patience and kindness I'd want for my own. I have been a guardian for dogs my entire life. I talk to dogs like people because I know they understand far more than we realize. They deserve to be treated with respect. Dogs are honestly the best part of humanity.

About: I have two dogs of my own, so your dog must get along and play well with others! I do ask for proof of shots and flea/tick medicine to be updated prior to any pet entering my house. I believe that all pets are part of the family and should be treated as such at all times! A little spoiling never hurt anybody ;) I work remotely so have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies! It can be any time of the day that is needed. I am extremely flexible with my schedule! I enjoy going on walks or playing a game of fetch or even just getting cuddle time in! I have a fenced yard on a 1/2 acre of property. I have two dogs - a golden retriever and a shih tzu. My golden loves to play with other dogs, he is 4 years of age. I have a shih tzu who is a senior dog, and he prefers his space and sleep time.

Staci is an excellent pet sitter that provides amazing care for our Maggie. Maggie has separation anxiety and needed to start developing social skills to help her with separation and just overall being around other people and pets. I am so happy that I found Staci, because after just the first time that she cared for Maggie, I can see how happy my furbaby gets when I even put her in the car seat. Maggie gets so excited because she knows we are on our way to a play date or overnight fun filled stay with Staci. I’ve observed how much calmer Maggie is and how much she loves to be at her sitters house. Thank you Staci for caring for our Maggie with such love and care. My family and I appreciate you so much. -Dina

About: Grew up with parents who were groomers and breeders. I went to school to major as a veterinarian due to my love animals, and even though life, I find myself forever engulfed by the love of these furry creatures. Dogs to wolves, house cats to bobcats, ferret buddies, birds, hamsters and more. There’s care for them all. I manage well🙂. I have plenty of days where I find myself very free and available. A little companionship never heard us. Sometimes I need to take a walk and there’s a room for company. I’m a little sit down with friends never hurt. As the fur parent sees fit. They would be fed, potty breaks/outside time 2-4 times a day, and given a social atmosphere of people and or play friends. Unless otherwise directed. Light grooming and bathing can also be discussed.

Ksenia is amazing! Kind and so patient with our hound puppy. She is a life saver! I was caught off guard with our puppy transitioning from sleeping a lot to digging a lot! I needed help with his care, and Ksenia quickly responded and offered help immediately. We cannot say enough good things about her care and concern for our pup, and she even helped with much needed training tips. Wonderful! And her family is lovely as well.

We left Zeus with Jessica for a few hours one morning while we were in town and couldn't take him with us for an event. She was very responsive with communication, flexible with timing, and welcoming to Zeus. Her own dog was very sweet and friendly. We really appreciated all that she did to make our event less stressful and would recommend her to anyone in the area.

About: I am just your average mother to dogs, cats and little humans running around. I am also your local dog/cat groomer. I have 10 years of experience and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon! I am very confident on handling all sorts of pets, pets with special needs, senior pups, puppies, pregnant mommas, unfixed fur babies and of course pups who might need a little discipline. I am pretty observant on behavior and can tend to whatever needs. I am very active(having 2 boys will do that) but I can also lay back. This also isn’t my first rover account. I used to partner with rover a few years back but since having kids and life changes, had to recreate a new updated account. I’m currently a stay at home momma during the week and groom during the weekend. My hubby is home weekends so pets are never left unattended. I have a fenced yard and love to be outdoors if weather permits. I also won’t pass up a cuddle session if thats what decided for the day <3

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of September 2026, there are 1,392 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Williams Crossroads. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Williams Crossroads commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,392 sitters in Williams Crossroads, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
