I have a friendly, well-socialized dog in my home who gets along well with others; however, I always introduce pets gradually and will keep my dog separated or crated as needed until everyone is fully comfortable. Pets in my care receive regular leash walks, plenty of playtime, and mental stimulation to keep them happy and engaged. About: I’ve been taking care of animals for around 30 years. I have both fostered and owned animals as well as watched other. I have owned my dog since she was a puppy, so I have experience with younger dogs. I have helped family friends with their older dogs who need help moving around and cannot stay home alone. I have also long term fostered a special needs dog. I am an empty nester and when my children moved out they took their pets. I’ll be able to devote my time and attention to your pets as you need me to. During my previous time pet sitting I have stayed at the owner’s home as well as done 2-3 times a day check ins. When doing these I play by house rules. Crating a dog is not a problem as that is what I do with my own. I have pet sat for people who do and do not crate their animals.
