About: I've been an animal lover all my life and have taken care of a variety of animals like rabbits, cats and kittens, ferrets, and dogs and puppies. Neighbors, classmates, coworkers, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and generally offer a home away from home experience for their pets. I also have some training in the veterinary field and have a background in Biology and medication management. My goal is to ensure your peace of mind and to guarantee that your fur family member(s) have the best time when we hang out together. I've done boarding in the pets' homes, dog walking, cat walking, boarding in my home, drop-in visits, and administering medications (including injections). Currently, I am offering drop-in visits in your home and dog (or cat!) walking. I also love to take care of animals like fish, ferrets, and birds! I have a flexible schedule and would love to either drop in for a visit with your fur family members or to take them out for a walk in the great outdoors. My current fur family has a variety of needs, so I have lots of experience managing multiple pets and multiple types of care at the same time. For example, my dog, Cedar, is a senior pup and requires injections once a week and daily oral medications, so I've gotten creative to find a routine that works best for him. I have 2 cats, one who is a grazer and one who eats every kibble in sight, so feeding has been an adventure. But, I'm always ready for a challenge and I enjoy giving the best possible care to every pet I encounter. About: I have grown up around animals and throughout that time have gained skills that help with sitting and with that it allows me to be a better sitter. I have been around all ages of cats and dogs my whole life and have been sitting regularly since I was thirteen. I’m currently in school and not very busy with classes, so I’ll be readily available to fulfill any petting sitting needs that are needed. I will usually check in and/or walk in the morning or in the evening. My dog gets walked twice a day at minimum because he tends to want to get that much energy out. This usually happens at night and I would be able to walk any dogs at the same level which I do mine.

About: I've had German Shepherds, cats, and horses all my life. I fostered shy, scared cats from a shelter in Prague and got them all adopted, except my foster fail, Pepsi. I know how to coax out a hider and spot when a pet isn't feeling well. I've walked and dogsat large breeds, like huskies, staffies, labs, goldens, shepherds, collies, etc., and I'm comfortable with harnesses, muzzles, and waist leashes. I've given meds to many sick and senior animals (dogs and cats), using pill injectors and pill pockets. I can also do puppy basics like potty schedules and crate routines, if we keep a consistent schedule. I've volunteered at shelters since 2006, competed and been on training staff at horse competitions, farm sat, volunteered with therapeutic horse riding programs, and worked as a horse camp counselor. Taking care of animals has always been a big priority in my life :) My schedule is flexible, so I can fit visits around your day. Drop-ins are my specialty, and I'm available mornings, afternoons, and evenings most days. Overnights can be arranged if you need them. I also have family nearby who help with childcare, so last-minute requests are often doable if communication is clear. I reply fast and will always tell you early if something changes. At my home, my backyard is fully fenced appropriately for all sizes of dogs. Larger dogs get leashed walks (quiet neighborhood with no other dogs off leash) and supervised play. Ive never really been apart from my cat (Sage) and was very anxious about it all. During the meet and greet with Jacob, Sage took a liking to him and would rub against him, which put me at ease. I walked Jacob through Sages hiding spots, litter box, habits, food and water, etc. She also can have inflammation flare ups due to stress or environmental reasons. Jacob kept me informed about her litter box, food, water, how social she was, let me know if he noticed any signs of a flare up, and sent pictures/videos of Sage. Jacob took a genuine interest in Sages well being during the visits, and even prior to the first day of sitting her! Jacob is awesome & I’m so glad I found him! I recommend him as a sitter and will definitely book again when the opportunity presents itself. It was tough at first leaving Sage but Jacob kept me informed which kept me at ease. I felt much better knowing my girl was happy with Jacob, and overall while I had to be away. Your fur babies will be in great hands & genuinely cared for!
