“Wonderful sitter! She took good care of our girls and provided lots of updates! I loved seeing how happy my dogs were and I know she made them feel right at home! Would highly recommend!”

“Jenny is excellent and took great care of my dog and treated her like family and was giving me updates and pictures of her every Day and she gave me a piece of mind knowing she’s in safe hands with Jenny . Definitely recommend and will use her again for future”

“Please please book ! Tionne was so thoughtful and my pup was in great hands. Lots of updates and pictures and the environment was so safe and loving . We will be booking again.”

“Our previous sitter had to cancel at the last minute so I really appreciate Christian being willing to meet our dog and take care of him on short notice. Christian has a beautiful backyard that I'm sure Indy enjoyed. I appreciated getting a photo every day that we were gone and could tell Indy was comfortable and at ease.”

“Diego was wonderful watching our dog while we were out of town. He shared photos and videos, and ensured she got lots of fun and playtime. Would definitely consider having Diego dog sit again!”

“So incredibly thankful Joi & Lynda were able to watch my Simba! He is incredibly shy and they sent photos/videos of him cuddling and playing with them! Our flights were delayed coming home and they kept him longer for us! We would definitely request for them to watch Simba again if they’ll have us!”

“Staci pet-sat for my fur-baby Maggie for 2 days and I am thinking she is missing her and her family. When my husband and I picked her up, Maggie gave me a little resistance on the leash, but eventually walked towards our car. I have always been hesitant about leaving Maggie with anyone outside of our family because she has separation anxiety and can be sad when we left her in the past with other pet sitting services. I am so grateful that Staci took such good care of Maggie and gave us updates that gave me a piece of mind while away. Thank you for keeping her and obviously loving on her so much. 💜 I can’t wait for the next time she gets to go to you. -D. Recinos”

“We left our 3 yr old Bulldog with Kaitlin, Jeff & Kids for a week and had an amazing experience. Our pup absolutely loved being at their house. She was treated like she was their own dog!! She loved playing with all the kids and their pups. Communication from Kaitlin & Jeff was fabulous! We will absolutely be using them again and highly recommend them to anyone.”

“Dianne was so caring to our Teddy.. She is a kind hearted human and she took such good care of Teddy. She genuinely care and you can feel it the moment you see her. Thank you so much Dianne!”

“I chose Taylor to watch my cat while we moved houses. I needed someone who didn’t have any other pets to help reduce stress. She was absolutely amazing during this process. She was very helpful and kept me informed on how the stay was going throughout each day. I would highly recommend!”

“Cathy is the absolute best Rover we have ever used! She sent us frequent updates with pictures, went above and beyond to provide the best care, was extremely flexible with drop-off/pick-up & treated Olivia like she was her own! Couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Cannelle had another great visit with Michelle and Jose. I loved the updates and photos shared. It was very easy to drop off and pick up and communication was great. Definitely will reach out to them for my upcoming trip in the fall!”

“We are so happy to have found Sharon as we have been hesitant to go on vacation, leaving our little dog in someone else's care. He is aging and gets very stressed when his routine is disturbed. But Sharon's caring approach was wonderful and our little guy settled in quite quickly (after a bout of diarrhea which Sharon handled gracefully). She clearly knows a lot about dogs and their needs. We appreciate the frequent updates and many pictures which allowed us to relax while away. We're also thrilled that we have finally found a petsitter who offers her canine guests plenty of long walks and socialization. We highly recommend Sharon!”

“Dan and Kevin were so great with our puppy!! They provide great care and attention and we appreciated all their communication and pictures during his stay. I highly recommend them!”

“Kirsten is the best! Our pup was so happy running around and playing in the backyard and cuddling with the fam afterwards. Kirsten was great with pictures and communication. We also ended up having to extend our trip and she was super flexible and accommodating. Will definitely be back!”

“I cannot recommend Qian enough! They took such incredible care of BB while we were away. I was so impressed by the amount of daily exercise our pup got—they were out and about every single day. We loved receiving the daily updates and photos, which really put our minds at ease. It was clear that there was lots of playtime involved because our dog has been so happy and relaxed since coming home. We will definitely be booking again!”

“Kelly was fabulous with my two doodles. I had never left them with somebody before and because my oldest dog has sight issues I was very nervous, but Kelly put me at ease immediately. Every day she would send me photos or videos with a little snippet about how things were going. I looked forward to seeing the photos and I could tell that they were having fun running around her yard. It is obvious that Kelly loves dogs and I will definitely use her again.”

About: I grew up working in my father's animal hospital. From the age of 7, I was cleaning cages, until I gradually began assisting him in office calls and surgeries by the time I was in high school. When the practice was sold, I was in charge of all the weekend borders. It was my responsibility to make sure they were fed, walked, and medicated if required. Growing up, we always had a family dog so I have some experience house training puppies, as well as teaching them basic commands such as 'sit', 'stay' 'shake'. I can also break them of the bad habits of jumping and that playful biting puppies do. Growing up around animals has allowed me to bond with them quickly. Plus it doesn't hurt to have a Vet on call if you have a question. As you see from the uploaded photo gallery, I not only take pictures of the pups having fun on the walk but I also send updates, when the dogs use the bathroom and if there is anything out of character; such as, if they have gone to the bathroom more than normal, or it was a loose stool. Currently, I have open availability during the week and on weekends for both walk and boarding. Therefore, I am free to come and take care of your pet whenever they need me. Currently, I am not doing in-home boarding. However, my fiance and I both are considering adding this service to our clients in the near future. My fiance is also a verified Rover walker and sitter, which makes the boarding experience not only as safe a possible but a spa-like retreat. We live in a neighborhood with countless parks and paths for walking and our house has a closed in the back yard. If your pup likes to sleep on their own doggie bed that is welcomed but if they want to curl up between us as well that is also fine!
“Meyling provided my dog with lots of activity and sends lots of updates throughout the day showcasing meals and fun times. My pup always is excited to stay with Meyling and she takes such good care of her. I regularly have her doggysit and can feel at peace knowing my pup is in good hands.”
The median cost per night for pet boarding in Holly Springs is $45
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Holly Springs
I could tell that my little dog felt a connection to Kaitlyn and her family. She didn't seem like she wanted to leave when it was time for me to pick her up. Kaitlyn sent photos and answered my questions throughout my dog's stay. I would be happy to use her services again.

We had such a great experience with Meaghan! Millie seemed to have a wonderful time at her house, especially playing with her dog, Winnie, and spending time with her adorable daughter. I love that Millie was included in all of their family activities and seemed to feel right at home. Meaghan was very responsive and sent several updates and photos throughout the weekend, which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. We've already scheduled another stay with Meaghan and would highly recommend her!

Meyling is awesome! This is our first time using Rover for pet boarding. We have tried other pet boarding places before, but preferred to find a more one on one experience for our 2 Pomeranians. After thorough review Myeling was our first choice. She honestly surpassed our expectations and explain the process a little more as we were totally out of the loop of what was to be expected what was needed, etc.. We had our meet and greet prior to our trip with her, and the dogs just loved her, which was a great sign! Very attentive and communicative throughout our time away and provided daily pictures just as everyone sees their pet as their babies, and that was very assuring that they were taken care of. We will be reaching out again for next summer and highly recommend her services! Thank you Myeling once again!

My wife and I recently left our cockapoo with Agnieszka and her family for 5 days and were very happy with the frequent follow-up and photos...along with her and her family's kindness - not to mention her daughter's immediate love for Duncan! We would not hesitate to use her again!

Jennifer and Yuri did a great job of taking care of our Nara and ensuring all of her needs (and ours) were met! She got plenty of playtime with their dogs outside in their large fenced-in yard, which she was clearly very happy about! They sent videos and pictures to keep us updated and at ease since this was her first time without us. Thanks again, Jennifer and Yuri!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
