About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have experience with dogs, cats, and small animals, and spent four years working as a Veterinary Assistant in Wilmington and Chapel Hill. I treat every pet as if they were my own, offering patience, safety, and lots of love. My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and deeply loved while you’re away. I currently work from home running a small business. I do not work every day. I am flexible and available to help you out when needed. I have a Labrador Retriever and two senior, friendly domestic shorthair cats of my own. While you’re away, I care for your pets as if they were my own. I follow your instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and take time to understand each animal’s personality and needs. I like to keep a log for you on how they did and how things went for our time together. We have a nice sized home to accommodate your furry friend. Pets are allowed upstairs. We are happy to have your baby sleep on his or her bed in our room at night, or a crate if that’s what they are used to. Please supply your pet’s favorite bed or crate. Pets are allowed on the couch. We have a large, fenced back yard for those pups that like to sunbathe or sniff around during the day! I focus on calm, gentle care, plenty of affection (when welcomed), and making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m attentive to behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, and I communicate regularly so you have peace of mind. I have experience with senior dogs and cats, puppies and kittens and special needs pets through vet time experience and personal experience.

About: Hello! My name is Cassidy, and I have a lifelong passion for caring for animals. I grew up with German Shepherds and cats and have spent many years caring for a wide variety of pets. I currently have four cats and a German Shepherd–Husky mix of my own. I have experience training young puppies as well as providing attentive care for senior dogs, and I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and compassion at every stage of a pet’s life. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and treat them with the same love, attention, and respect that I give my own. I currently work full time, Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30 but I am flexible when it comes to drop in visits or walks so just text me and we will be able to work something out that fits both of our schedules:) I currently live with my family with my personal kitten and 2 family cats and 1 dog! I make sure to stick to a consistent feeding schedule as well as a play schedule with him to ensure he gets the exercise and enrichment he needs!
