About: I’ve had animals all my life, from your typical dogs and cats to snakes and hamsters. Pet care is something I’ve always been passionate about, looking after my own pets with full responsibility from a young age. I currently have a border collie-mix rescue of my own. I worked at a doggy daycare/boarding facility for over a year and a half from 2022-2024 with experience in attending and leadership positions. Duties included handling, feeding, medicating, and cleaning up after dogs and cats. I also have experience in independent dog sitting. Over my time, I have become confidently capable of looking after pets that may be considered on the “harder to handle” pets, such as overly anxious animals, animals that may need certain accommodations or special handling practices, or pets that refuse medications. My hope is not only to provide excellent care to your pets, but also to establish plenty of communication and let you rest assured that your fur babies are in good hands. Our pet companions are family, after all, and everyone should be able to feel at ease while being away from home! At the moment I have almost completely open availability for pet sitting, 7 days a week, apart from of course needing time to stop home and spend adequate time with my own dog. I can provide in-home care according to any special requests or regulations you may have. If a fenced in yard is available, I am able to spend plenty of time with your dog outside. Otherwise I am also definitely able to take your dog on potty walks. For indoor-only pets, such as cats, I can follow any instructions when it comes to potty time/ cleaning rituals upon request. If your pet has favorite activities, such as playing ball, belly rubs, etc, just let me know and I am happy to incorporate it into my care.
