About: I have had pets my entire life, including dogs, cats, fish, and hamsters, which has given me experience caring for animals with different needs and personalities. I have also watched my neighbors' dogs for the past six years, helping with feeding, walking, playtime, and general care. About: In my role at Morrisville Cat Hospital, I was responsible for overseeing the daily needs of our boarding cats and cats who were being admitted for services during the day. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to: cleaning each cage or condo daily, administering medication and feeding, and being alert to/recording changes in a cat’s health such as vomiting, diarrhea, or noticeable weight loss. I also helped out by sanitizing & preparing exam rooms between appointments, assisting vets & vet techs with blood draws, vaccinations, and oral medicating. Prior to MCH, I spent several years fostering dozens of cats through the Foster Paws Rescue organization in South Carolina. About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have experience with dogs, cats, and small animals, and spent four years working as a Veterinary Assistant in Wilmington and Chapel Hill. I treat every pet as if they were my own, offering patience, safety, and lots of love. My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and deeply loved while you’re away. I currently work from home running a small business. I do not work every day. I am flexible and available to help you out when needed. I have a Labrador Retriever and two senior, friendly domestic shorthair cats of my own. While you’re away, I care for your pets as if they were my own. I follow your instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and take time to understand each animal’s personality and needs. I like to keep a log for you on how they did and how things went for our time together. We have a nice sized home to accommodate your furry friend. Pets are allowed upstairs. We are happy to have your baby sleep on his or her bed in our room at night, or a crate if that’s what they are used to. Please supply your pet’s favorite bed or crate. Pets are allowed on the couch. We have a large, fenced back yard for those pups that like to sunbathe or sniff around during the day! I focus on calm, gentle care, plenty of affection (when welcomed), and making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m attentive to behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, and I communicate regularly so you have peace of mind. I have experience with senior dogs and cats, puppies and kittens and special needs pets through vet time experience and personal experience.
About: I have had pets my entire life, including dogs, cats, fish, and hamsters, which has given me experience caring for animals with different needs and personalities. I have also watched my neighbors' dogs for the past six years, helping with feeding, walking, playtime, and general care. In addition, I currently have a dog of my own, so I understand the importance of providing pets with attention, exercise, patience, and loving care. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom, and my kids are in school during the day, which gives me plenty of free time to care for pets. After dropping my kids off at school, I'm generally available from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM for walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, and giving pets attention and companionship. While I do pick my kids up from school and attend some after-school activities, I have a flexible schedule and can provide dependable, loving care throughout the day. In my home, I care for a two-year-old Goldendoodle, a pink toe tarantula, and fish, so I'm experience with caring for different of pets and their individual needs. My dog gets daily walks, is fed twice a day, and enjoys treats, regular grooming, and plenty of playtime both indoors and outdoors. I make sure all of my pets receive lots of attention, exercise, and loving care every day. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their normals routine as closely as possible to help pets feel comfortable and safe. I have watched my neighbor's' dogs on many occasions while they were on vacation or away for weekends. During those times, I visited their home about four times a day to walk, feed, play with, and give attention to their dogs. I also cared for their fish by feeding them and checking on them during each visit. I understand how important it is for pet owners to know their pets are being cared for with patience, reliability, and love.

“We left out high energy boy Rocky with Dan and Kevin for a few days. We couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Rocky was a bit nervous on the first day, and Dan took extra care to make him feel comfortable and at home - until such time he was able to settle down. Because Rocky is high energy- Kevin would take him out for runs to burn out his excess energy. During the stay- we ran short on the food that we had provided. Dan was careful to order the specific brand and make so that our pup wouldn’t have issues. All through the stay, she sent regular pictures. Oh by the way, she does an AMAZING job with the pictures. We would highly recommend Dan for your next need for a Pet stay.”
