I used to work at The Biscuit Garden as a manager and Kennel Technician. My other previous job was at Harmony Pet Resort and Spa as a Kennel Technician. These roles required me to be hands on with the animals. From playtime to dinner time I did it all. I even interacted with owners to make sure they knew their animals were in the best hands. When I was doing Kennel Technician I was making sure the dogs had waters, beds, cots and meals. I administered medication and any special add ins. I created doggy play groups based on temperament and energy levels so everyone was always having a good time. From the dogs who love fetch to the ones that enjoy relaxation outside all their needs are met. I walked, cleaned and love!! When I was manager I was running the shift. I made sure all staff were keeping up with the standards of animal care that was required. I checked clients in and out as well as gather any vital information about their pet(s). I made sure laundry and dishes are done. I ensure things are done on time and correctly. I open/closed as well. Now I am focusing on my education and Rover duties! For me trust and cleanliness is the biggest factor!! My animals are my main priority. Whether they are my own or my clients I treat every one like family. I also am a big clean freak so I make sure my animals waste is picked up daily, their bowls are clean, and they have a fresh bed/blanket at the end of the night!!

Ella is doing a great job taking of my cat! She checked in everyday on time, played with hazelnut, identified his personality even first time taking care of him! Most importantly, she left tons of cute pictures and make my busy vacation relaxed and smile 😊
Ella was excellent! Every day she provided clear recaps of the visit and updates on how our two cats were doing. She takes great pictures too! One of our cats has a health condition and every day she updated us on how they took the medicine and how their symptoms were looking. I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook her again in the future, we felt very confident in her ability to provide great care.
If Rover allowed more than five stars, Ella’s rating would need clearance from air traffic control. 😂 With our demanding work schedules, Ella has been an absolute lifesaver. She is consistently there when we need her and genuinely treats TCAS and LZ like they’re her own. Knowing they’re with someone who truly loves them takes an enormous amount of stress off me and my husband. The fact that Ella loves Bull Terriers made her an instant fit for our slightly chaotic aviation-themed family. TCAS—short for Traffic Collision Avoidance System—is adorable, hilarious, stubborn, and approximately 97 full-time jobs wrapped inside one muscular egg-shaped body. Ella is basically a Bull Terrier miracle worker and handles all of his energy and ridiculousness like it’s nothing. She has also been incredibly loving and patient with my sweet LZ—short for Landing Zone—who is 14, very elderly, and dealing with illness and age-related challenges. Ella understands that LZ’s needs can change from day to day and always gives her so much patience, gentleness, and love. That means more to me than I can adequately put into words. My dogs come with approximately 742 tiny instructions involving crates, treats, routines, and what can go where with whom. Ella remembers every detail, handles all the extras without ever making me feel like an annoying helicopter dog mom, and somehow never complains—even during the brutal North Carolina heat. She also sends amazing pictures and videos that always reassure me and brighten my workday. Ella is dependable, thoughtful, patient, attentive, and clearly loves animals with her whole heart. Finding someone I trust this much with my dogs—especially with LZ being such an elderly girl—has been an absolute gift. She isn’t just our dog sitter anymore; she’s officially part of our weird, slobbery little family. 🐾💜🩵 Seriously, book her—but please don’t book her so much that I can’t. 😂 - Heidi

Ella is wonderful. She took such great care of all of my fur babies. My 2 dogs and 2 cats loved her! I definitely recommend her and I will be using her again!
Ella was amazing with our kitty. This was our first time ever having some one watch her and we were very nervous. Ella went above and beyond sending us pictures and detailed messages which truly put our minds at ease while we were away for the week. Our cat also hides from strangers but Ella and her were besties in no time! Thank you thank you.

Schedule
I have two pets of my own. Dino the tabby cat who is two and Tirso the mutt who is 8 months old. I am the sole care taker so my day starts and ends with them always. I take my dog to work with me so when I am there he is right by my side. I work Tuesdays, Thursdays and all day Saturday so my week is animal filled. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
