About: I have been a dog lover since childhood, and my passion for animals continues to grow. I have a high-energy dog named Pepper, who is a 9-year-old Double Doodle. About: I’ve been taking care of animals for around 30 years. I have both fostered and owned animals as well as watched other. I have owned my dog since she was a puppy, so I have experience with younger dogs. I have helped family friends with their older dogs who need help moving around and cannot stay home alone. I have also long term fostered a special needs dog. I am an empty nester and when my children moved out they took their pets. I’ll be able to devote my time and attention to your pets as you need me to. During my previous time pet sitting I have stayed at the owner’s home as well as done 2-3 times a day check ins. When doing these I play by house rules. Crating a dog is not a problem as that is what I do with my own. I have pet sat for people who do and do not crate their animals.

I have watched my neighbor's' dogs on many occasions while they were on vacation or away for weekends. During those times, I visited their home about four times a day to walk, feed, play with, and give attention to their dogs. I also cared for their fish by feeding them and checking on them during each visit. I understand how important it is for pet owners to know their pets are being cared for with patience, reliability, and love.

We had a wonderful experience! They stopped by to care for our pets during dinner, took Rodger on a nice walk, and gave our kitties plenty of love and snuggles. Lauren was the perfect sitter/caretaker while we attended two destination weddings. My wife and I were amazed of the quality care John gave our cat Buki. I believe she was definitely given a very posh time in those short three days, and would truly recommend his drop ins again for she was very delighted that he spent that time with her.
