“Piper did a fabulous job checking in on my pups. I asked for daily drop in visits to let out my dogs while I was at work this past week. She let them out for the time I requested and made sure to lock up afterwards.”
“Josie/Kitty is extremely shy but really seemed to be comfortable with Miya. She usually hides under the bed the entire time and anyone else is here, but she came out to say hi when Miya came over. It made me feel so much better about leaving her, knowing she was well cared for and not scared. Miya communicated with me during my trip and I felt better knowing she was there. Highly recommend her as a pet sitter. She’s reliable and really seems to care about all animals.I would love to have her come back next time I need a pet sitter.”

“Loren was an amazing pet sitter. She was incredibly communicative, loving, and caring with my dogs. Always punctual, attentive, and truly impossible to improve on. She was consistently willing to help, very service-oriented, and made us feel completely at ease. I highly recommend her and would absolutely trust her again with my pets.”

“Chelsea was great and bonded with my 4 cats (some skittish) right away. The feedings went well over my 4 day holiday judging from all the photos Chelsea sent me twice a day. Plus messages from her everyday which made me feel even more secure. I highly recommend Chelsea for all your pet's needs.”

“Nikki is amazing! She gave our dog such care, love, and attention! We had such confidence that he was being well cared for. Nikki was always on time, and gave us wonderful pictures of our little boy. We will be using Nikki again whenever we need to! 5 stars+”

My availability may occasionally change as I explore other career opportunities, but I’ll keep my calendar updated, communicate clearly, and always make sure I’m a good fit for your pet’s routine before accepting a booking I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine, keep a close eye on them, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’ll also send updates and photos so you know how they’re doing

About: Hi! I grew up with German Shorthaired Pointers, so dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and my heart. I know that our pups aren’t just pets, they’re family, and I treat every dog I care for with that same love and respect. Whether your dog loves a good game of fetch, long walks, car rides for a treat, or just curling up for a cuddle session, I’m here to make sure they feel happy, safe, and totally loved while you’re away. Big or small, high energy or laid-back, your dog is in great hands with me! I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule so that makes drop-ins, walks, and stays much easier for me. I do not mind same day scheduling or cancellation I prefer to go to the clients home, as I have two kittens that have not met any dogs and no fenced in yard for safety.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a little girl. My father used to be a breeder and I would always help him with feedings and training. I am currently a stay at home mom at the moment so I have plenty time and energy to care for your pets, I will give them all the best love I would give my own I have a huge beautiful yard to play in. Home is somewhat close to the road but it is not a busy street at all.
About: I've been caring for pets since before I was 12, I've had Cats, Dogs, and Hamsters over the years, never met a pet I didn't like. Available All Week, been searching for a stable job but no luck, so I figured why not get paid to do something I enjoy while I look for work. I'll feed, walk, and play with your pets and if you're a concerned parent then I can happily send you pictures of your pet throughout the day.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Barclaysville. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
