5. Kim L.
“Kim helped me out at short notice, taking my high-energy dog on an hour-long walk on a hiking trail. He took to her the moment he smelled her, and had a great time with her. She asked pertinent questions before taking him out, and picked up the instructions for the e-collar straight away. I would definitely book her again.”

About: I'm the type of person that is always stopping to pet (and rescue if needed) stray cats. Throughout my childhood, I helped my parents care for dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, a chinchilla, and more. The first thing I did after graduating college was adopt two cats - and now my husband and I care for them both and our dog, River! I am an animal lover through-and-through and will treat your babies as if they were my own. I've recently been laid off, which means I have plenty of time to spend with your kitties and pups! With the exception of a few appointments here and there, I have open availability M - F. I have a fenced-in yard perfect for zoomies and a crate available if needed (up to ~50 lb dog). I have two cats, which love each other but tend to keep to themselves around unfamiliar animals. My 2-year-old Australian Shepherd, River, loves to make friends!

About: I’ve been caring for all animals since I was 10 years old, but I’ve always had a gift when it came to dogs. My mom used to call me the dog whisperer growing up, and it was always a dream of mine for people to call me when they were in need of something for their pet. I am super excited to be working with rover, and I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies! :) Caring for these animals is my passion and I hope to make a difference by doing so :) I’m currently working part time so my schedule is pretty flexible! Good communication helps me work around mine and your schedule to suit everyone’s needs! Every pet will get treated with the same respect of an animal in my own home. They are apart of the family, and should be treated as so. I like to keep consistency, so I will be doing my best to make sure my routine closely matches your own!
8. Tracey R.
“Tracey was great! Very communicative and you could tell she really enjoyed taking care of our fur babies while we were gone and sent updates and pictures to us every morning. If you need a dog walker or someone to take care of the doggies, Tracey comes highly recommended.”
9. Audrey L.
“Our pets; Penny, Millie, and Jan are always excited to see Audrey when she arrives. Penny and Millie, our dogs love their long walks. She always checks their water dishes to make sure they have water. Jan, our young rabbit who is deaf, hops to Audrey and loves her ears rubbed. Audrey always checks her hay bag and makes sure she has plenty of water.”
10. Sarah P.
“Sarah is an absolutely amazing caregiver. Having a dog of her own has really helped her learn how to properly care for dogs as well. She's a caring person who will always make sure that the dogs are well taken care of and make sure that they are happy. Overall, she's truly a wonderful caretaker who understand that animal she's working with.”
11. Bryanna C.
“Wonderful first week! Bryanna is punctual, pleasant and Stormy and Joule love her! She was very flexible when I needed to change our walk time due to a dental appointment. She gave wonderful feedback about their walks and sent great photos. We’ll definitely be using her going forward!!”

About: I’m willing to care for and work with all kinds of animals. I’m extremely patient and compassionate, especially towards animals. They’d be my number one priority in anything they need and I would go the extra mile to care for them. I am currently a full time student, but have my weekends available, I got to Campbell and would always be able to go before or after class if I need to. I am responsible and will make sure your pets get the best care they possibly could. My love for animals is so extreme and every single one deserves the best care possible. I’d do anything extra if I must.

About: I always had a dog in the house growing up. We have been caring for our neighbors two dogs for 3 years. We loved going to their home and feeding them, taking them on walks, letting them run in their backyard, etc. We love having dogs come to our house, so we have more opportunities to watch and play with more pets! I have 5 kids (3 to 14 years old) and they love to play with animals too. If your pet doesn't like men and/or doesn't mind younger kids, then consider us. I currently work parttime, almost exclusively from home. I am able to take your pet on walks or run around with us while we ride scooters and play with the neighbor's kids on the street in our neighborhood. I don't have a fenced in yard, but they are welcome to roam our house and find a cozy spot to snuggle up or be on a leash while we are outside playing. I would prefer dogs to be in a crate if I need to leave the house, but I am not gone long, usually 30 minutes - 1 hour here or there. Any animals here for the day will get 3-4 walks, per day, during their stay. I will also send you status pictures at least once a day.
16. Vanessa C.
“Vanessa deserves more than 5 stars. She is an absolute natural when it comes to caring for animals. She is compassionate and treats my dog like her own. Her love for animals is reflective in her care. I would highly recommend her for any service. I requested her at 10pm and she was at my door the next morning ready to meet Miley. Highly dependable. Thanks again Vanessa!”

About: I have had Pets in my family since I was a child. I have always wanted to work with dogs as a means of employment. I started volunteering at the SPCA of Wake County in December of 2018. I immediately signed up to work in the dog area as a dog butler. My duties include cleaning their rooms, potty breaks in the yard area, walks, working on basic training commands through positive reinforcement practices and making them feel comfortable and loved through a very stressful time until they find their forever homes. I was recently asked to become a lead volunteer which means I am now involved in training new volunteers and work with dogs that have some behavioral issues. Volunteering at the SPCA has given me the opportunity to work with dogs of all different sizes, ages and personalities. I was recently hired to transport a puppy adopted from the SPCA to his new home in Austin Texas. I also dog sit on occasion for a friend. I have a very flexible schedule. My only commitment is my time at the SPCA on Mondays and Thursdays. I am available for a long term set schedule and/or last minute requests. I am also available to dog/house sit. Unfortunately I am unable to board dogs in my own home. All pet care would have to be in the client’s home. I apologize for any inconvenience.
