Teacher w/ a side hustle
I teach high school English full time, but I'm also a professional cat lady (an unspoken requirement for teaching English, I think) and dog mom. I’m an animal lover at heart! ** I grew up in a household that always had multiple pets, so I can't imagine life without them. I currently have two fur babies of my own- a 2 year old lab mix and a 6 year old tortoiseshell cat. They’re both spoiled divas! **I have over 10 years of animal care experience that comes from caring for my own pets and regularly petsitting for neighbors, friends, family, and online clients. I have extensive experience with dogs and cats of all ages, and some experience caring for fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, bearded dragons, and birds. I’m well versed in dealing with anxious and high energy dogs/puppies. (My dog is an anxious weirdo but we love her anyway lol). **Being a pet parent myself, I understand how nerve-racking it is to trust someone else to provide quality care to your animals. With that in mind, I promise to treat your pets with the same care and affection I give my own! I would love the opportunity to care for your furry friends!

I promise to follow all instructions provided, paying close attention to even the smallest of details. I understand that each pet is different and has unique needs. I will provide your pet with lots of love, attention, and patience- all while sticking to their normal routine!

Kailin did a wonderful job taking care of my dog! She followed all of my instructions perfectly and gave her lots of love and attention. She took her on a nice long walk, played with her in the backyard, and made sure she ate her dinner. I really appreciated how attentive and caring she was. I would definitely recommend Kailin!

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I follow a traditional school calendar/schedule. During the school year my availability is more limited (my work days are 6:55-2:45) but I’m still able to pet sit on the weekends and do walks/drop-ins in the evenings during the work week. I am typically available on holiday breaks and teacher work days. During the summers I have wide open availability other than a few vacation dates!

- Please let me know if your dog has any specific needs or behaviors (Ex: pulls on walks, needs to take medicine, responds to certain commands, resource guards food, etc.) I like to stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and keep them comfortable. I can handle most things, I just need a heads up!
